For 1997, this game would be a treat to play. Simple mechanics and replay ability

For coming out in 1996, this game was ahead of its time. Sure it doesn't seem to have the full MLB Licensing, but I find myself wanting to come back and play even in 2026. I did not grow up playing this game either so this is not nostalgia.

This game was good for its time. It didn’t make me want to go through and keep playing after I beat it. But even for today’s standard the game can still hold up.

This is a game I still to this day can finish and still want to play again. Soundtrack is one of the greatest of all time. Just enough to do in the game and also keep the game simple.

For this game to come out in 2000…wow, way ahead of its time. Granted it copied a lot from Mario kart, that’s the only reason I am not putting it a 10/10
