Maybe it's a hot take, but even though I loved them both, I enjoyed it more than 3houses. Both are around an 8 for me (perhaps 8,5), but this has gameplay that hooked me, and a tighter loop that made the pace better. The story is as generic as it takes, though I WAS pleasently surprised at points. I didn't mind as much when I played it, as I was in a period I was looking for gameplay anyway. The characters are type-casts, but that was not too distrucitng for me, I loved the powers of the rings, the training, the maps, and the graphics, though a bit too anime-like, as pointed by many, are bright and coloful. Perma death is really rare because of "time rewind", which you can ignore though, so it's up to you. Still appreciate the accesibility option, as load scumming is an atrocious experience. I would reccomend 3 houses much more easily to most for many reasons, but truth be told, the time I played this game more

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero9

Has its quirks and some things you can rightfully complain about, but was an awesome experience that brought be back to childhood. I liked the story (though it wont appeal to you if you're not already familiar with the plot) I loved the alternate conditions (ie survive, or get blown up with yamcha) and I liked the what ifs. Wold tournaments, custom tournaments, Limit journey, Bonus Battles (these are under-talked about and great), are all modes I really enjoyed!
Mission 100, survival and custom battles I didn't vibe with match, but are a welcome bonus.
I enjoyed the plethora of characters, stage variety (with DLCs) is okay, passable, graphics are not perfect (as demonstrated by several mods) but are still incredible, and competitive play, after years of cheese, is in a much better place compertively (tho still having issues).
I personally don't play online, and I care mostly about booting the game, picking a thematic team and playing some random matching in offline DP mode. Have some fun, turn it off. The game also has some steep difficulty spikes in story modes, which wouldn't bother my now, but definitely felt noticable when I was learning the ropes. UI is also fancy but impractically slow at times. I also don't like the selection screen much compared to a stylistic choice like BT3's. Sidenote : I bought the game on sale, at 50 + 35 for the dlc, so I'm not personally mad with the price, however at retail price it cots 135, which is too much imo. This game could've been the 10-er ten ever, but it's still a strong 9 for me, and was the standout game of the summer.

Enjoyed it more than Dishonored 2, though Dishonored is a much more accesible game for anyone looking into the studio. I loved that opening and appreciated the approach of the game overall. For the first hours I was geniunely scared. After a point you stop being scared and see the monsters for the AI algorithms they are, and that is where my interest deeped. I played about 70% of the story and looked up the end on YT which in 20some years of gaming I've never done. It's not a fault of the game tho per se, more so what I looked for in it. A lot of back and forth traversing, and, for me at least, a fair share of loading older saves, which I like to avoid, but in this case, felt preferable to a more combersome course of events. I think I reccomend it for some people, but it's a bit niche. Its sandbox-y nature will make some people completely fall in love with the game, and I'm happy for them. 8,5 for the first hours, sliding down to a lukewarm 6-7. It wouldn't hurt to try it at a good price

Dishonored 27

I'd love to score it higher, and before playing it I'd expect the same also.
I enjoyed Dishonored 1 a lot back in the day, and perhaps I didn't remember or notice some of its quirks back then, that now tick me off.
It's a game of freedom, with really interesting stages and secrets scattered all around. Well, they're not so much secrets as much as they are crucial power ups (if you wanna engage with the superpowers system).
There comes an antithesis in the design, you wanna be a shadow, a shade of an assasin that gets in and out in the most effective way possible, but you also wanna explore a lot.
This results (in my case a least) in quite a bit of getting spotted, squaring off, and often loading (which I never do in games anymore, but in this case the alternative felt worse). Perhaps I'm too inpatient for a game like this nowadays. It's a game that's best experienced in repeat playthroughs when you know the map and can plan ahead and feel like a badass. I still reccomend it, it has an awesome gameplay premise, but it also has its caviats. A more accurate score for me would be 7,4. If it wasn't the for appreaciation of some aspects, stictly as an experience, I could see myself giving it as low as 6,7 though. But maybe you'll like it more than I did, who knows?

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection9

More of an 8,6, a great great game with amazing gameplay graphics and a really compitent story for the genre. I love its brevity and I highly reccomend it for being an engaging experince allaround, with little to no fluff and a lot of fun.
Both games are awesome, 4 has much better story, and lost legacy has some better gameplay choices (because it came out later).
I preffered 4, but I enjoyed Lost legacy a lot as well. They're both games I don't regret playing, which are not all consuming, and can be breezily accompany your afternoon which I love

A superhero mini-series where you manage a team of heroes and manage your personal struggles as an Ex-superhero yourself. I approached it as a show, with the bonus of making choices and I had A BLAST!!!
These days it's difficult to even watch movies sometimes, but this had that perfect balance for me. Episodic, humourus, action-packed, some romance, the occasional quick time event, and a really entertaining gameplay system, that made the pace even better. I was never bored, I looked forward to every part of the loop, and I appreciated the game's length. Around episode 6, though it was still great, it was when my enthusiasm was slowing down (from a 10 to an 8,5), but that's where the story ramped up and concluded in a satysfying manner. It is the best example of this kind of game I've ever played and I reccomend it easily! An absolute joy!

A truly Fantastic game! It took some hours to grasp me, mainly to due to 8bit esthetic, but once it did, I truly fell in love. It's a short and difficult game even very difficult the more side missions you do, but it's up to you how deep you wanna go. The music is fantastic the level design also, the story is simply and immaculate, simply immcaulate. It's touching and well told. One of the best, concise platformers out there. And it's also one of those games that has that special something that makes building a lasting community around it, possible. Highly reccomend, especially if you love a challenge.
