After the first hours of playing this I am addicted. This is everything that was promised by the developers. If Binding of Isaac was the king of Action Rogue-likes (with countless "clones" made after it) this is the **** EMPEROR. Despite the new pixelated graphics, the graphics are BETTER. The soundtrack is amazing, it makes you tingle with horror and excitement at the same time. The controls (although mouse was not implemented) are flawless everything responds exemplary. The content ... well the content is ... I have no words for it ... other than godlike in every aspect. Crap-loads of new items (it will probably be weeks before you can memorize what they all do) with brilliant interactions and new mechanics, each game plays differently ... and when I say differently I mean it almost feels like it's another game entirely. Support the developers and buy this game! This is too good ... you will be playing and enjoying it a lot more that whatever else 15$ or your local equivalent can buy. I guarantee it.

This is a blatant Binding of Isaac rip off, in terms of game mechanics, scenery, music etc. And I am perfectly OK with that because it does it well. It brings new thing to the formula such as perks, dodge mechanics, choosing your levels etc. There are a few gimmicks which could have easily been added and for which I am subtracting one point: more graphic options, use of mouse for shooting, worn items changing character appearance. This game is fun and enjoyable non the least, of course it is sometimes merciless and cruel and unpredictable ... if you are not alright with that don't get this game. But if you like action rogue-likes than this is a MUST have.

This game is fun in coop and a bore in solo campaign. Graphics are decent but not great, the crafting system is quite fun. It has no random generated content unfortunately which gives no replay value. A down-flaw is that you can't play the campaign in coop online (only local with an additional gamepad).

This is a decent roguelike dungeon crawling experience done pretty well in the Lovecraftian universe. The sneak mechanics work well and smooth. On the other hand, while the game emphasizes on versatility in the ability to play different styles that doesn't cut it well as the resources get scarce and the monsters stronger you're often left with no option but to sneak. There is not much to say about the graphics and the sound, they are not extraordinaire but they do their job. The part that isn't fun is the lack of loot and choice in weaponry, for a roguelike and such a broad universe there is very little in the sense of loot currency, 5 common items and about 10 equipment items some secret ones I only found one) and no character progression what-so-ever. And in the end you will find that only a few items, which are clearly more beneficial, make sense taking along. This game requires more content for it to feel complete, it's nice ...but it had more potential.

This is an absolute mess, stay away from it like it's the plague. I've played diablo clones before but nothing on this level of BAD, it's absolutely disgusting that Steam would even allow such a terrible mess to be release on their platform. Where do I even start, graphics are 13 years out-dated at the least, messy color scheme that can't decide between grim and colourful, with clunky horribly 3d models. The sound is a mess of buzzing and ripping that shreds eardrums and speakers alike, the dialogue is horribly monotonous with a few robotically pronounced lines. Control-wise it's aberrant you expect to be able to shoot with your mouse... think again.... the completely new revolutionary bash four keyboard buttons to attack, including the basic attack. Interface, better scape your eyes out now before you see it a single menu with tabs for everything, items show no stats until you click on them and then click on them again to close the comparison pop-up, and it looks like a school project the fonts are completely out of line with the graphics. How about the game-play you ask? NO!!! JUST NO!!! Turn back now you can choose from a total of TWO classes, with 9 personal skills and 9 shared skills out of which most are passive. The first items that drop are 5-6 levels above you ...so you go around naked getting killed by mob groups that spawn randomly in numbers larger than two. Sometimes you can't pick up items of the ground because it's buggy as hell, some mobs drop chests whit nothing relevant in them, although there are chests around to be opened just so that you click more to get horribly looking irrelevant loot. I can't cover everything that's bad with this game in this review... I am usually very tolerant even toward lower budget games but this is on a whole new level of TERRIBAD in absolutely ALL directions NOTHING IS DONE NEARLY CLOSE TO A STANDARD ACCEPTABLE LEVEL.
