This was my highlight from 2022. To be honest it was my highlight considering all videogames I've ever played. Outstanding graphical design. Outstanding story telling. Outstanding characters. Outstanding gameplay. Outstanding everything. I love this game. I may be a simp but. I don´t care. It´s the best game I ever played. As I mentioned, the design is lovely. The Painted style complements the message and the mood just perfectly. The artists where able to combine disgust and beauty into one large painting with a wide variety of colors. And thanks to the quite simple graphics the game performs pretty well. The Story is outstanding but blends in with the equally exceptional side quests resulting in a even better environmental story telling than Elden Ring. With all the little detail in the world and in the dialogues ZA/UM just made an overloaded game, which doesn't feel overloadet at all. It feels like the game would try to male you think about everything in life and it kinda does. which feels great if you're open to it. But I understand that not everyone is. Especially when you game because you want to escape the real worlds problems. The gameplay might also be a downer for some. It's sloooowwww paced and based on RNG. I heard some players complain about not hitting their 3% chance... . If you are one of those you should not buy this game. But I really enjoyed this classic RPG style gameplay. But at the end of the day I think you should try it yourself. Buy it on sale at steam. If it doesn't catch you in the first two hours you can still return it. Considering this is the first game made by ZA/UM following studios and publishers should be ashamed: Ubsioft, Activision, EA, Dice, Treyarch, Infinity Ward, NuClearVision, CDProject Red and basically everyone else because Disco Elysium: The Final Cut is considered the best PC-Game of all time and still is the first game ever made by ZA/UM.

I started playing DBD back in January 2017 and I loved it. It wasn´t flawless but fun af especially with friends. But I never fully committed to this game. I basically played in phases. Sometimes I cranked the hours up but between these times I stopped playing for months. Nowadays I turn it on every one to two months and stop playing after one trial. sometimes after a half. The game became an unfunny and buggy mess. All my friends who play this game are constantly permanently complaining. It's kinda annoying. Another big problem is the monetization. The base game is fairly priced but when it comes to skins things are getting ridiculous. But you don't have to buy them and the devs have to pay the servers. But given how bad the servers are and how unscary this so called "horrorgame" is, it´s not worth it. Here comes a recommendation for you if you still want to try this game: Don't buy to many DLC's at once. At first, when you don't know which of them is worth it, you can end up buying a pretty low quality killer. Also you should focus on learning one or two killers. I can imagine thath DBD with it's actual size can be quite overwhelming for new players. But a big advantage of being new to the game is that you won't recognize the most of the games flaws. In the case of Dead by Daylight I think it's quite important to consider how the community is treated by the developers. Because it is a constantly evolving live service game the dev's are supposed to listen to the community. The sad reallity is that they neither listen to their fans nor are they receptive to critsism. Behavior even throws content creators out of their partnerahip program if they complain about the game.

I have to confess that I'm not a big fan of Doom. And Eternal didn´t change a thing. To me it´s just a generic boring shooter which feels quite a bit to long. To monotonous and after playing Doom from 2016 I really don´t see enough differences. None related to the gameplay, which is okay but in my opinion it should've developed furthermore. What bothers me more is that the levels are just the same as in part one. A space station there, a little bit of Mars here and even the hell ist back. But technically its a great game and there is nothing to complain about. And it´s performing incredibly well when it comes to FPS.

There are just a few good lovecraftian game adaptions out there and Call of Cthulhu is one of them. The story is well written and you can see that the developers knew something about the Lovecraft universe. The games atmosphere fits quite well into the genre and the game looks fine. The first problem are weird character animations. They just don't feels as naturally as they should. But it's not an big immersion break. Another annoying thing are the sounds. overall the sound design is okay except for the volume of different elements. For example, the cutscenes where to quiet and dialogues to loud. The gameplay really wasn't a burner. It was a little bit to easy for my taste. Especially the stealth parts where ridiculous. I was able to crouch right in front of an enemy without him recognizing me. But at the end it was a fun game which was worth it's money. But I only recommend it to people who like the typically lovecraftion story telling and themes.

You come for the cat, you stay for the design. The Graphical style is beautiful, the gameplay is simple but fun, the story is well told and the whole point if the game is quite interesting. The message behind hit applies perfectly to our today's world. The game is a kind of artistic and philosophical work of art. The only holdup here is the very short playtime you get out **** which costs around 27€.

I love it. If you´re able to let loose and get drawn away by the emotions this game is transporting you will have a great experience. Of course not in a good way. It is an awful expereince which can drive you crazy. Of course you won´t feel the same way you would feel in a real war but that's okay. This game will show you a site of war which is not often enough discussed in other videogames and which is right now quite important to know about. The graphical style is also quite nice and underlines the games message. It´s grey, dark and bland. The Gameplay is not balanced but quite hard (as it should be). Of course it´s still possible to survive the war. The overall design choices are very thoughtful and I never encountered a single bug. Pure 10/10. I think it was the right decision to create a small 2D-Game with tiny levels so the developers where able to focus on the gameplay and message. I hope that six days in fallujah will do as good as TWOM.

One of my favorites, for sure. Graphics good, gameplay fun (like 90% of the time), story great but: quite a few bugs even now, a lot of missed opportunities and sometimes it feels overall empty (Can´t say why). It is a great game but it does not hit the 100% mark. Right now it is 85% of what it could be. There is quite a lot room for finetuning. Let´s see what phantom liberty brings us. I must say I had quite a lot of fun with the sidequests, also the main story is quite impactful. After 50 hours the gameplay might get a bit boring and if you look back at your playtime you will remember quite a few small and medium bugs. But at the end it will be quite a nice experience. BUY IT. I want to see a sequel in like 10 years in which they learned from their mistakes.

Good game. It´s certainly nothing special but it has a good story without anything new. The gameplay is also quite solid but again nothing new. Graphics are good but also not outstanding in style or quality. It´s interesting to me how sony is able to release games based on well known principles and elements that come out quite good. But on the other hand Ubisoft does the same but fails. In the current version on steam I didn´t encounter any major bugs or performance issues.

After I played this game almost for 2000h I stopped. It is a great game. One of the most interesting and best designed shooter out there. Every single hour of playing was fun. What is great about hunt? -graphics -artstyle/overall design -sounds -gunplay -general gameplay -developers transparency What is neutral? -some people seem to have server issues but I never ran into that -overall the community is quite polite but oc there are black sheeps What is bad? -sometimes there are game changing bugs Why I stopped playing? Because after 2000h it just isn´t that compelling anymore. I´m also not particular a fan of the events and when I am such invested in a game, I develop an urge to unlock everything and have every single Item. But sometimes I just want to play some other games or need to learn for college or something like that. But recently the developers just released to much content and I just can´t keep up if I don´t want to invest more real money. But I can recommend everyone to try this game. Only Problem is you need something in the neighbourhood of 10h to know if Hunt is the game for you. But on Steam you only can return it within the first 2h. So you should have enough money to not worry about investing 25€ in something you don´t like.

I have to say, I really don´t understand all the negative Reviews complaining about the slow-pased realistic gameplay. I certainly understand that there are a lot of gamers, hwo only enjoy action-overload titles. But just because you don´t enjoy the gameplay, it dosn´t mean that the game itself is bad. In my opinion, when writing a review, one should always consider the developer's original design approach. And the design approach for RDR2 was clearly to create a realistic and slow-pased experience, with an outstanding story, a lot of details and a lot of different gameplay-elements. And by those measures, rockstar performed just fine. It may not be the best game of all time, but it´s f***ing close. Everyone has to commit that this game looks great. No doubt in that. But it also features all these little details like footprints in the Snow or shrinking horse balls when it gets cold. Also the animations are perfect. Even the sound-design is way better than in the most games. The main-story an the sidequests are both interesting and well written. There are also a lot of random events which can encounter you everywhere, every time. They are one of the main reasons for the organic and realistic experience RDR has to offer. The gameplay is as good as the rest of the game. My recommendation is to enjoy the world. Go hunting, go fishing and explore even the farthest corners of the world. There is almost always something to find. But if you are looking for fast, action gameplay or if you´re not ready to take a deep breath and enjoy the view while taking a long ride to the next quest this game is probably not for you. There is no shame in this. But there is in writing a negative review about a game just because you don´t like the genre. This sounds perfect. Why did I substract one point? Because of the multiplayer. It´s just grind and it get´s not enough support from the developers. I had a lot of fun in 180h of playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and I encountered close to no bugs. I hope you can enjoy the game the same way I enjoyed it.
