The Slaughtering Grounds is a project created by Digital Homicide Studios, a dollar store bargain bin, hack job shooter originally costing 10 dollars patched together using stolen unity assets and images off of the web, made infamous by the games psychotic developer proclaiming his game was a masterpiece and began antagonizing players to the point that he even filed a lawsuit against one of the more critical reviewers, Jim Sterling.

Metroid Prime 2 Echoes is my favorite of the Prime Trilogy, and I'm not afraid of showing it either. Metroid Prime 2 is probably the most difficult of the series, and with good reason too. The inclusion of a Beam Ammo system was designed and based off of the existing Luminoth weapon systems, which meant the integration gimmick would be an Ammo-based Beam Cannon upgrade to make players learn to conserve their ammo and use it more wisely in a dangerous situation, and the Dark World to help players learn through trial, error, and consistency to explore and traverse the ever looming and corrosive atmosphere of Dark Aether, both inclusions added a much more gloomy, sinister experience, how all of Samus's experiences are... Near suicidal missions on abandoned installations or planets. Speaking of which, the once thriving homelands of the Luminoth now left desolate and twisted is the most expansive look at how Aether has nearly been destroyed by its Dark brethren. Each area is supposed to be depressing and bland, like the vast Agon Plains scorched by the Leviathon turning it into nothing more than a desert, the industrialized Torvus Forest reverted into a damp wetland bog, and a Holy Fortress once revered by the Luminoth for its technilogical advancements turned into a technological nightmare. You really start to feel for the beings of the Aether and how their war with the Ing turned into a one sided massacre. A common misconception of the game is that the game was made using assets from Metroid Prime, which in my eyes was actually a breath of fresh air, whether you come into this game as a new player, or a veteran of the first Metroid Prime, the controls are simple and easily adaptable. Funny how people complain about MP2 asset reuse when Legend of Zelda, Mario, Pokemon, and Kirby do the same thing and get tons of praise for it, huh? I found the lack of hand holding and backtracking perfectly similar to the first Prime game, and is perfectly befitting to the series nature, not telling me where the **** to go every two seconds like Red Faction: Armageddon and LoZ: Skyward Sword, which ironically it seems everyone is falling into this situation analysis these days, yet people hate that concept, but despise the concept when it comes to Metroid Prime 2. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is praisable like the rest of the Prime series, as the rest of the series encompasses the same streamlined exploration, and lack of handholding, Prime 2 creates new, unique, story, creatures and more tense battles that test not your patience, but your experience of the games mechanics.

Xenoblade Chronicles gives us a different universe, the game takes place on two giants known as the Bionis, and the Mechonis. Starting off it gives us a brief history of the storyline, then thrusting you into the heat of battle between the army of Mechonis (the mechon) and one of the many armies of the Bionis (The homs) in sword valley. Leading the army of Bionis is ****, Mumkhar, and Dunban, wielder of the Bionis sword the Monado. After a battle with the Mechon, a whole year passes by, now giving us Shulk, researching the mysterious monado after its skirmish with the mechon. Explaining the entire story would take days! Because of one shining point of xenoblade chronicles... It has more plot twists than a circular stairway!

No more heroes gives us Travis Touchdown, a 27-year-old Otaku put into the united assassins association to defeat 11 other assassins, Helter-Skelter, Death Metal, Dr. Peace, Shinobu, Destroyman, Holly Summers, Letz Shake, Harvey Moiseiwitsch Volodarskii, Speed Buster ,Bad Girl & Dark Star. Each with their own specials and kinks, and all for a fantastic showdown with a two twist bosses.

Brought rom the 64 to the 3DS, we once again follow the anthropomorphic fox, Fox Mcloud and the star fox team, Slippy Toad, Falco Lombari, and Peppy Hare as they take on the veniacle Andross from taking over the Lylat system, consisting of 7 campaign levels with multiple branching paths. The system consists of Corneria, Macbeth, Katina, Zoness, Titania, Venom, Fortuna, Solar, & Fachina and not mention 6 other sectors to liberate, while also fending off Andross mercenaries Star wolf.

Rather deadlocked/Gladiator begins as Ratchet, Clank, and Al are abducted and forced to compete in "Dreadzone" a violent game show in which heroes are forced to kill each other. Ratchet must defeat Dreadzone's most successful gladiators, the Exterminators, and become one of Dreadzone's most popular contestants. The three must find a way to deactivate the collars, and free the other heroes being held prisoner in deadzone.

Dead space 2 takes place 3 years after the first game, Following his nightmarish encounter on the USG Ishimura, former engineer Isaac Clarke arrives on the Sprawl, a civilian space station built on the remains of Saturn's moon, Titan, which was broken into pieces in a planet-cracking operation. Here a new Necromorph outbreak begins. Isaac witnesses the panic that overtakes the station from the start.

Pokémon Emerald is the third release for generation 3, better sprites, more pokemon locations, and patching bits of the music. The game still takes place on Hoenn, protagonists being May, (Sapphire) and Brendan, (Ruby) still keeping both of the teams, Aqua and magma to fight between the legendary Kyogre and Groundon.

A unique gem for the ps2, giving us a witty protagonist named Ratchet, the last of his race known as lombaxes, after he encounters an escaped robot deemed rouge named Clank. Ratchet and clanks quest will take them through many unique worlds, gaining new abilities a weapons to stop a mad business man from destroying your home world.

Sonic Rush Adventure follows Sonic after Sonic Rush, in which Tails and Sonic are pulled into a tornado, and into the Soul dimension, an alternate version of Sonics world, consisting of 12 hidden islands, and 8 level areas. In order from Plant Island, Machine labyrinth, Coral Cave, Haunted ship, Blizzard peeks, Sky Babylon, Pirates island, and Big swell. The plot of the game is that an eggman robot look alike named whisker and his companions mini, mum, and Jhonny have risen Coral Cave to steal the jeweled scepter to obtain the power of the stars, immense power that ensures the existence of parallel worlds. Its up to Blaze and Sonic to find the chaos, and sol emeralds to stop Whiskers plan.

Taking place before the milking, and hype for call of duty, World at war takes place in several parts of WWII, divided into two campaigns. American, and the Soviet campaign. The Soviet campaign is returning after having last been present in Call of Duty 2. There is no British campaign in the game, making World at War the only major Call of Duty set in the Second World War not to feature a British Campaign or a British playable character. It features both a solo and co-op campaign, however both are the same except that co-op is played with multiple people and certain missions are unplayable. The American campaign is set in the Pacific theater on the islands of Makin, Peleliu, and Okinawa.

Bethesdas next gem, Fallout 3 takes place in the capital wasteland after an apocalyptic war. The player is placed inside of Vault 101, one of the few last known surviving vault in the wastes, not to mention the last sane vault. Unfortunately after years of constant stress to save the wasteland, the players father escapes the vault causing the inhabitants to go on a rampage. After a dangerous escape the player is given free roam through the hazardous Capital wasteland in search for is father, and the G.E.C.K (garden Eden creation kit)

Taking its rightful name from the books, Halo - Combat Evolved is well one of the greatest games for the Xbox. A fantastic shooter, great difficulty, and a very considerable threat. The aftermath of the fall of reach, a desperate attempt for survival leads the pillar of autumn and her crew crashing onto Halo, an ancient Forruner weapon, used to destroy the franchises greatest enemy, the flood. After revival, the flood begins to take over halo, and its only a matter of time for the player to fight for their life.

Tom Clancy's Splinter cell chaos theory sets the player as a spy of Third Echelon, Sam Fisher currently investigating a string of events leading towards a major terrorist. All made by a very intellectual person. Its up to you, to ghost your way through highly dangerous missions, to put an end to this "chaos theory," and prevent world war 3.

A very classic PC game, Dark forces takes control of Kyle Katarn, the same Kyle from Shadows of the Empire, & Jedi knight II. Kyle is hired as a mercenary to find the plans for the death star hidden within an imperial outpost. A year later after the first mission, Kyle is sent to investigate an attack, killing hundreds of innocents. The project came that obliterated the town was known as the "dark trooper" project, developed by the games antagonist Rom Mohc.

Enter the matrix gives the perspective of two side characters, Niobe and Ghost. The game takes place during the second installment of the matrix series, matrix reloaded, taking you from the classic "Morpheus falls off the truck and onto the car" to destroying the power plant to help Neo get to the "father of the matrix." This will also explain why the Logos was downed in the third installment, Matrix Revolution.

Up on Mars, a mining corporation known as Ultor mercilessly works their minors, most dropping dead because of a new plague. A faction known as the Red Faction has spoken up, lead by their leader Eos. The protagonist Parker is caught up in a small riot after his shift, and is forced to join the faction and stop the Ultor. Ultimately fighting to the control tower to call for EDF (the earth defence force) to assist. Fending off mercs, and security the whole way through.

Red Faction Armageddon is once again a linear game, jumping to Darius Mason, currently fighting a war against cultists who have invaded one of the most important sectors (What we can presume is what remains of Eos) and begins to attack the terraformer that the EDF built. Upon Masons meeting with his CEO the terraformer is destroyed, forcing them and the rest of mars to inhabit the mines underneath mars.

Released for the SNES, NES, PS3, and DS Chrono trigger follows a boy named crono, who travels through time with his allies Robo (Prometheus) Frog (Glenn) Marle (Nadia) Lucca, Ayla, and Magus (Janus) to stop a creature Lavos from destroying the world in the year 1999. to do so, they must embark on several dangerous quests, stopping dangerous beasts in their path, and changing history, no matter what it takes to finally stop lavos.

Secret of Mana is an RPG originally for the SNES and NES. The tale tells of Randy, and his friends Popoi and Primm. The three characters fight to restore the mana from each of the temples scattered throughout the world back to the mana sword to face the antagonist, Thanatos and his minions, who seek to revive the mana fortress and take over the world.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is a different approach to the famous RPG series of final fantasy. Letting the player decide your attributes and slowly build up your strengths throughout the game. Keeping the player constantly on their toes, fighting new, giant creatures and bosses. Hinting you about up coming things through several other crystal caravans.

Final fantasy XIII introduces the newcomer lightning, as she and several other characters attempt to raid the city of cocoon. After destroying the cities core, (and several flashbacks and future insights) you are able to freely roam the world, meeting new members to the group along the way.

Enchanted arms is an RPG, set protagonist being Atsuma along with his friends Toya, and Makota. at Enchant University. After they skipped school and go to a Golem battle tent, the city guards machines begin to malfunction, attacking innocents and turning on the any of the cities inhabitants. Later the protagonists separate, Toya turned against Atsuma, and Makota presumed dead. Its up to Atsuma to become stronger and take on the three devl golems, Queen of Ice, Emperor of Fire, and Lord of Earth.

Street Fighter IV is a 2D fighting style/arcade game voted the number one game released by Capcom, taking place several months after street fighter II, After M.Bison's survival from his encounter with Akuma, the S.I.N. corporation began another fighting tournament in order to draw out the most powerful fighters on Earth to complete the BLECE project.

All three of the original tittles of the devil may cry franchise bundled into one, also including the special edition of devil may cry 3. The also decided to have a vault feature giving players a taste of what they may listen to or see in the franchise.

After hearing a distress signal (From the anime of dead space downfall) a group of engineers, Isaac Clark, Kendra Daniels, and Zack Hammond come to the ship U.S.G. Ishimura to repair their radio transmitter. Shortly after investigating they are attacked by the games threat "necromorphs." After repairing the ships radio transmitter and avoiding several catastrophes they are finally able to retrieve a transition, that of a war ship named U.S.M Valor.

Silent Hill - Homecoming gives the player a new protagonist to the silent hill franchise, Alex Shepard, an amnesiac who wakes up in a hospital apparently after a war. Upon starting into the world of silent hill, you come to a dead end after chasing your brother, face to face with the real silent hill, attacked by nurses (its unknown why they are here, Alex has no sign of lust) and eventually makes it towards the elevator out of Alkimila hospital. Only to be attacked again.

Devil May Cry gives us the story after Devil may cry 3, Dante embarks on a quest to revenge his twin brother Vergil, and his mothers death by the hands of Mundus, after an anonymous tip by a mysterious girl named Trish. Upon entering the games main level, Dante is met with considerable odds of demonic foes, upping the approach to the lord of the demon world Mundus.

Devil may cry 2, like devil may cry wasn't intended to be, however a last second change of plans made the sequel to the hit that is devil may cry came to be. Devil May Cry 2 gives the player the ability to play as a artificial angel named Lucia, and Dante the demon hunter. Both campaigns trail a quest to stop Atrius from reviving Agrosax from the demon world. Lucia travels to defeat Atrius, while Dante travels to hell to defeat Agrosax.

Pokémon Omega Ruby, & Alpha Sapphire are both rereleases, and unfortunately there wont be a recreation of Emerald. However both games soundtracks, and gameplay have been revamped, once again putting the player in Hoenn to become the champion and stop both Team Magma & Team Aqua from terrorizing the world with the legendary pokemon Groundon, Kyogre, and rayquaza.

Half Life - Opposing force sets you in the perspective of Adrian Shepard, a marine sent to the Black Mesa research facility to find and capture Gordon Freeman. However, upon reaching the facility, their chopper is attacked and forced to crash land just outside the premises. Fortunately a scientist is able to pull you and your team inside. However you are the only survivor of the crash. Adrian is forced to make his way through the research facility and find Freeman at any costs.

Metroid Other M is Nintendo's attempt to recreate the Metroid franchise, giving Samus a voice of her own as she goes to investigate a distress signal codenamed babies cry upon a spacestation named the bottleship after the super Metroid. She runs into Adam Malkovich, a CEO she served under before she became a full pledge bounty hunter, first mentioned in Metroid Fusion after the events of other M. She quit his command after a failed attempt to retrieve Adams brother. Adam asks for Samus to help, but also asks her to keep her suit features locked until he says so.

Counter Strike Global Offensive gives the player the typical two options for teams. Terrorists, and counter terrorists. Upon obtaining a kill, or respawn, the player is given newer weapons to hasten an objective. Both team obtain their own different variant of weapons to deal with the opposing force during the many maps they include during gameplay.

Duke Nukem Forever and its 15 year development cycle sets the player off after Duke plays a video game, playing the tournament from where the previous game ended. Duke Nukem is still being praised, until he finds out that aliens have began attacking, taking earths woman and impregnating them for their own offspring. Duke sets out on a quest to take down the alien mother ship and save earth woman, also being accompanied by many easter eggs, such as dead space engineer, and halo armor

Five nights at Freddy's takes place after the sequel at Freddy's pizzaria, the player is set as the night shift security guard and informed that to watch the animatronics. However the layer must be aware of each of the 5 animatronics locations, shut their doors, occasionally check on the lights, and be aware of "Pirates cove." Each night you can clearly tell something just isn't right with the restaurant, as the information given becomes more and more stranger. Leaving some to believe the restaurant is haunted.

Metal Gear Rising gives us an entirely new look on semi protagonist Raiden, being driven for his lust for vengeance against the antagonists of the game, Cyborg terrorists "Misstrel, Monoon, Jetsream Sam, & sundowner. All lead by a corporation seeking to take the brains of children and turning them into super soldiers, much like the torment that Raiden had to Burdon before he stopped calling himself "Jack the ripper"

The game takes place at the beginning of the Devil May Cry timeline, giving us a cheeky younger Dante who embarks on a quest to stop his twin brother Vergil from conquering the human world with a demon made tower named Temin-Ni-Gru. Dante faces several threats through his adventure, gaining several new devil arms and unique Styles, constantly moving to new locations. Several collectables, new costumes and modes, including another Bloody Palace.

Sonic is introduced to the human world for the first time, (Apparently, neglecting the anime Sonic X, Sonic adventure 1, sonic adventure 2) letting the player control the trio Sonic, Shadow, and newcomer Silver. Throughout all three campaigns the player is told that the world will be destroyed by a monster named Iblis, who is lying dormant inside of the damsel Princess Elise. Its up to the trio to stop the antagonists Mephilis and Iblis while trying to find chaos emeralds.

Red Faction - Guerrilla is a 3rd person open world shooter, taking place on mars 2125 where the player takes control of Alec Mason, after his brother is killed by the EDF for helping the Red Faction. The player is then brought into the world to take down EDF property to slowly liberate the 6 sectors. "Parker, Dust, Oasis, Badlands, Free fire zone, & Eos.
