The game as great as it wants to be isn't as great as you'd expect it to be, it's charred with an abundance of bugs and performance issues that plague the user experience, sad really that the game released in such a state.

The negative reviews have come from xboners who like playing silly little games like Quantum Break where you get to watch terrible episodes and experience sloppy graphics. This game will sell like hot cakes regardless of silly reviews, for those looking for the next big thing, then step up, here it is the spectacular next gen title that deserves to win GOTY.

Theirs so many innovative ways to make a game like Epic Mickey 2 a gaming experience filled magic, interactive, and like the title says 'EPIC'. However their is none of these attributes to be found here at all. Instead your left visiting a mashed up collage of random levels that has no structure, or magic, and iffy controls leave the game feeling more like a chore, than a magical visitation to Disney dream. their is plenty to do in the game, but the exploration is tiresome also. Its a shame to see a potential hyped up title, to fall almost at the first hurdle. Hopefully for a given the planned expansion future titles to come, looking unlikely given the shoddy sales, the dev team will huddle down and find their creativeness. so all in all its worth a play, but just beware the frustrating controls.

The graphics are good, and stealth is well executed also, with some interesting gameplay mechanics. What really impressive here, is the oustanding varieth of options given for dymanic kills, and extra challenges to bring you back after. It was well worth the wait, and look forward to seeing what path hitman takes next. Like many games, their are some little bugs, im sure will get fixed, but they did not spoil, or impact the game.

I rented from lovefilm as i thought it would be a laugh, and thats as far as it goes, it may appeal to fans of family guy. You travel through some slightly funny, lacklustre, themed worlds, with a boring attempt to shoot your way through, given some second objectives that i chose to ignore. Extra weapons, costumes, and a leveling up can be accessed through an in game store located throughout the game, but most of the weapons seem pointless. The game is very very short, so maybe worth a rent for a few chuckles, but i wouldnt buy this game.

User ScoreRobbie111222
Apr 24, 2012
Silent hill:downpour is a decent return to the harrowing evil franchise, unfortunately what is decent should have been a far greater achievement, especially coming from Konami. The story is good and interesting, yet equally underwhelming, providing a consistency of wanting to uncover the truth behind our characters past. It's a sizeable quest if you include the many side quests, and opportunity to unearth alternate endings also returns. But it's not all gracefully entertaining, although the graphics are somewhat decent, the stuttering, and lagging that can be annoying plaques many parts of the game, the atmosphere is good, but nowhere near as satisfiying as previous encounters, from time to time I was grudging forward with boredom waiting for something to jump out, not in the slightest did I get the feeling of creepiness, just a town with snippets of ok the box just dropped if a wall, or the ball just moved on its own, or the lack of design in the monsters made me yawn, not to mention the combat element is also shoddy, but not game breaking. So yes a decent game, nothing spectacular, silent hills fans will love, general videogamers may wish they,d have waited for a price drop, or rented first. After completing once, their is litte incentive to return unless your wanting to experience each ending.

Main quest runs alongside that of the original, greyed out, boring level designs with no/little interaction, three lacklustre characters, with a broken doen levelling up system. One of the most frustrating elements is the lack of being able to level up you team members characters, leaving you with later with a one person army vs a bunch of AI goons, your moves are basic, the camera cannot be adjusted leaving a clunky feel to it. Saints Row: The Third is An over the top, high octane, melting pot full of action, humour, and crazy characters. Taking the saints to steelport allows for an immensely mission packed adventure. As you advance through the missions available, you will be given more and more weapons, vehicles, and the ability to level your character, making you or mean machine, as you are awarded for acting upon crazy actions, stunts, and given objectives. I have to admit I have not ad so much fun gaming for awhile, but with the amount of wacky trends this game throws at you it's hard not to side tracked, and going of the rails, that's if their was any rails in the first place. I did experience a couple of annoying bugs, glitches, and the visuals are good, but not great, this does not dull the experience to much, and would really recommend the game any day. On top of this their is plenty of DLC support, multiplayer, playing the story with other people, as well as the sheers amount of customisation, theirs plenty to come back to here.

Darks souls is by far one of the greatest action RPGs to grace the home console, it's not for the fainthearted either, ruthlessness lies deep within the experience, as you will soon notice. What kind of game welcomes you open armed, with a good pummelling, and hair shredding enemies, it's not long before your reminded mentally with the words "prepare to die", oh right yes the warnings on the box, and it seems many didn't go down the avenue of digging the info, before trekking deep into this mammoth ass kicking world. Dark souls is vast itch great, mythical, dark, yet beautifull dreamed up locales, as you deeper, and deeper, your greeted by campfires that offers little salvation than to level up, heal, upgrade weapons, and a deep breath from the achievement that fact that you waged to advance forward, after an attack from the fearless beasts, and gigantic hordes. The game s huge, and rewarding, and implements a new direction for rpg lovers, it boldly steps up the antics, and can't wait to see what's next. Giving it 10 because t truly deserves it, yes theirs always **** for some, but after playing many games, the **** are minuscule.

Soulcalibur makes an immensely welcome return this time on the small screen, a port of my all time fave slice-em-up. When I heard this was on its way, I was eager to see if I felt the same feeling I did back in my nostalgic dreamcast owning days, the answer is no, but tt didn't stop me from getting back into the action and enjoying yet again. It all works great, which is one of the doubts I initially had, the controls are layered out, arcade stick style, wasn't long before I was making sushi with my samurai, the action is fast, yet fluid, and the graphics are stunning. You really get the arcade feel here, their are several modes, arcade mode allows for unlocking more characters, making for a decent roster, and variety. Practice mode for brushing up, time attack, and survival mode, beating off endless waves of enemies. This is the best fighting game on iOS, but the one major problem here, would be a feature that this game should of come packed with....multiplayer, but you can't have it all, and who knows maybe one day, it may arrive. The other major question is the price is it worth it? For a fan like me yes, however it may not appeal to everyone. But I'm happy I finally got the chance to replay a classic one again.

The story is good, the graphics are decent even if the frame rate stutters now and again, the intros are flawed, and not as fluid as you would like, and the whole stealth element is slightly broken. The major problem is the fact that the game is riddled with glitches, and bugs that dampen the whole experience. The game is interesting, and manages to keep you going to the end, but after this I would never go back for a second attempt, if they get round to another attempt, their is a formul here that be majorly overhauled for a greater experience.

The story is fantastic, and very gripping, giving you the feel of hopelessness, despair as you fight for even a stutter of freedom. The graphics are also much improved, and environments are finely detailed, and atmospheric, accompanied by the music giving a great overall cinematic feel. The gameplay is sweet also, as you advance through the game, a great arsenal of weapons become available, that you can level up, the more you use them, the more powerfull they become. Theirs some great moments here, nothing that hasn't been done before, but it's all done so well, with great attention. Sonic Generations is an enjoyable experience if paying in small bursts, bringing back some of the nostalgic feel that made the original such a success. 9 levels split between 2D/3D, I was more or less only interested in the appeal of 2D. Each level offers extra challenges to offer extra value, if that's what your looking for. However as the game progresses, the same issues as in previous games return to cause frustration as usual, sonic doesn't seem to respond the best to jump as and when needed, and the later 3D levels are like insane trips to your inevitable, unlucky death, that leaves you sitting their thinking why bother.....?. As your screaming down the loop aiming for that speed ramp, before you know it your cascading downwards, towards your death like a vertigo loving blur. All in all I am a fan of Sonic, I really am, as this blue dude set the starting line for platforming in my eyes, with some great level designs, and not to forget few, but decent boss fights, do here's a game that works well, but fails overall to deliver the great expectations, fans will love, non fans will enjoy the short trip.

But you can't argue that this game is special, a living, breathing, beauty. It's magical in all the feeling you get when scaling the snowy, wind swept mountains, sword and shield beaten with battle scars, deers, rabbits, prancing across with grace, and before long dark entrances to tombs, mines, and remnants of old. The characters are very detailed, and interesting, and in the dark towns, and houses glow with serenity. Rage is an interesting title to say the least, I'm generally not a fan of this Genre, but this looked different. After a slow start to the learning curve, it's not long before you dashing round on missions. The graphics are quite nice, with plenty of detail around the dusty ruins of the post apocalyptic landscape that's a decent size, what would of been nice is a better mapping system, allowing you see see the scale, giving you the feel that your experiencing a world filled with adventure. It's an interesting story, and theirs a neat collection of weapons on show here too. The racing elements are barely exciting, as they seem all to easy, giving the feel sometimes **** filler, it's certainly no mad max espionage, but still nice to see the effort here. Overall nice graphics, decent story, and a sizeable adventure, even though the missions feel more like errand running back and forth sometimes, their is no question that it's worth a purchase, it's simply a fallout fps, with a few niche ideas thrown in to break the usual tone. It's a noble attempt and one to be expanded upon.

AC:Revelations was a risky purchase or me, I have been a massive fan since the very beginning, and over time the series has matured, and evolved into a great story. But you often wonder how far can you move forward when it seems everything has all been done before. But the feeling didn't last for long as the game opens to an older, darker character that is Ezio, but age hasn't slowed him down, infant it's quite the opposite. I'm extremely pleased with the whole set here, the controls are redefined, and with plenty of new additions. Firstly the new hookshot allows you to climb with great speed, the new style eagle vision, and 2 inventory wheels separated by primary and secondary weapons. In terms of new weapon additions, you can now create 3 styles of bombs that damage, confuse, and distract guards etc, however I didn't find myself taking too much notice with the bombs, unless I absolutely needed to. As usual the map opens up, and soon revealed is a massive, filled with quests, shops, treasures, and key locations, nothing here though generally differs from previous games in the series. Dotted around now are zip lines for quicker traversing, gone are the feather, and flag collecting quest, now you collect data fragments, and books etc, I'm happy about this also. One thing this game could do without is the new defend the den game that takes place when you loose you faction to the enemy, and you must retake them, the are dreadfully, and annoying, with little point but to waste time away from what gamers really want, sadly they are unavoidable so get use to these. All in all their is enough here to keeps fans going here, and it's definitely worth the money, moving forward now though, how far can they keep the fire burning bright? We will see.

I will keep this relitavely short and sweet, i have given the game a little more time, and I am a little bit more impressed than the previous annoyance or hearing that the developers had submitted their own Reviews, however it did seem that it was as if they were consumers only to later state the all most obvious. It's a shame as this reflected in the hate of many consumers, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. However in terms of professionalism, and after playing the game I can say that the game is nothing special, but could of been, to visit a re-imagined world of Jurassic park, and create that retro, all,out nostalgic experience, and bring that back in today's heavy expectations, falling flat would seem easier, than sailing high and creating a unique experience. The game heavily relies on its borrowed, heavy rain style gameplay, however without the ambience, and the depth of emotion from the characters, to drive the engine every gamer has, this was destined to be a one way trip down memory lane, with the words "I really wanted this to work" springing to mind. As a pure hearted gamer, its hard not to look for negatives, and I'm unhappy this game did not tick enough boxes, to give it the praise that telltale were digging deep for.

so now I have the iPad 2, I have been looking to fill with pages full of games, I had originally purchased this game on the iPhone, and now I have in hd. In a nutshell the game is very similar to zelda, the game is good but not amazing, however for the price your getting 15-20 hours of classic Rpg action, and the experience is great(otherwise I wouldn't of purchased again on iPad. The controls are not perfect, some people complain, but it's about the costing. The transition towards the iPad version is tremendous, and I guess the interaction does seem swayed at times with the iPhone. Cute & colourful graphics, great story line, with 15-20 hours of lush gameplay, slighty flawed by the clumsiness of the controls.

Bought this game yesterday people, and i can honestly say its a breath of fresh air, simple, yet addictive, and if your into your puzzles, then you will welcome this with open arms. This is a psn game supported by move, this game does not fully utilize the move to full capacity, however it doe's a damn good job, while keeping it interesting, fun, and entertaining at best. Also the colours on move with this game is ace. On top of this very good price, alll 100% reccomend.
