I’m always skeptical when it comes to RTS on the console. There have been attempts over the years, and while many were great on the PC, the controls on the console were meh at best. I’m glad to say that Age IV breaks the mold. The controls are super easy to use, doesn’t delay or feel sticky. It plays perfectly. The tutorial was great too. Thought I’d get bored, but instead a fun lesson in history while learning to play. Major props to the developers for nailing it.
I've really been enjoying Happy Wars. The huge team battles are pretty epic and the tower defense style gameplay is very addicting. Totally worth downloading and trying out.
Deadlight took me about 4 hours to finish. For 15 bucks, I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth. The environments are amazing and the story is pretty twisted. what really stood out for as cool was the fact that i was not just simply hacking and slashing through Zombies. When you see a gang of Zombies, run! The Survival horror mixed with platforming was good fun. Controls felt a little odd at first, but nothing that was game breaking. Solid buy in my book! Lastly, the 80's mini games collection was a nice touch.
