Gear of War: Reloaded is an excellent excuse to replay one of gamings best ever titles. A third person shooter that helped reinvent the genre into the post PS2 era and make online console gaming a thing to take notice of. Released initially in an era where it stood shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Halo and with Call of Duty coming into its prime, Gear of War wasn't just a great game for the Xbox 360. It defined the console generation as a whole. The release of reloaded captures all the magic in that original gameplay and maintains the brutal aesthetic of the Gears universe 20 years on. If you've never played a Gears of War game before there is never a better opportunity than with this release. If you have played it before then you'll be delighted to know that playing through it all again is still worth your time even in 2025.
