A great game with fun gameplay and a satisfying story, simple as that. I really enjoyed the leveling system, it feels like you have actual control of how your characters grow

This is definetly my favorite game in the Kingdom Hearts franchise, with a few stipulations. Everything works for the story its trying to tell, one of mundanity and the friends we have that make the boring parts of life worth living. Because of that the game itself is.. kinda boring. But in an intentional way, its such an interesting idea to me, and while boring the game is still fun, it looks absolutely beautiful, and I would rate 11/10 if I could

I played the PS1 version just a little while ago and I ADORED it! the music, the characters, the story, every little thing really touched me. I just simply loved everything about it, and Im usually one to be a contrarian. I dont want to spoil anything at all just so you go play it yourself!

One of my favorite games of all time, I adore almost everything about it. The bright, detailed visuals, the spotty but incredibly charming voice acting, its something I would reccomend to anyone in a heartbeat. I wont go into spoilers, but the story has so many twists and turns that I personally believe its the 2nd best story in the franchise, with extremely likable characters and more incredible Nomura designs. Where I think it really shines however is the gameplay and music Gameplay wise, it is very much a traditional rpg, but one where encounters almost feel like a puzzle. Everyone in Final Fantasy 10 is kind **** cannon, so it's really fun to have to work with powerful spells and limit breaks to be able to get through encounters before they do too much damage to you. Musically the score is done by Nobuo Uematsu, Massashi Himauzu, and Junya Nakano, and I think they all bring something amazing and special to the table, working together incredibly well. The game is great at framing environments through its music, expecially with instances like Thunder Plains While I think some limit breaks (like mix) are overpowered, its never in a way that distracts from the game. I truly love basically everything about it

Is it as good as Final Fantasy 7 or Crisis Core? NO! Is it a fun and engaging shooter with a lot of great rpg elements? YES! Totally worth the play if you're on the edge about it and you just want to vibe with a 2006 goth time capsule
