This game is good, but I cant really see why I could give it more than an average score. Simple but fun gameplay with a cute soundtrack.

A solid follow-up to Human Revolution. The game design and world are as strong as ever however the story becomes even weaker than the previous game. In my opinion this game would have been a lot better if it featured a new protagonist rather than stripping jensen of his augs but I think the character was too iconic at this point.

An unparalled and increible accomplishment in gaming. This is a story which benefits highly from the fact it is told through a video game. The soundtrack is incredible, and the puzzles are fun. I will not say much more, this is something that simply needs to be played without much knowledge.

Absolutely loved this game; the soundtrack, art style, and gameplay are all fantastic. I really prefer the top down perspective style gameplay as opposed to ocarina of time for example. The amount of abilties and items at your disposal is very fun to play around with. My favorite component of this game is the freedom with which the player can choose to explore the world and choose which temples to beat whenever the player wants to.

Having never played the N64 original, I just found the game OK overall and did not understand the acclaim behind the game playing it fresh in 2015. I was constantly wishing i was playing this game as a remaster on a console rather than a handheld.

The whole point of the game is to not follow the path (which is the only instruction the game gives you) which is an interesting concept. However there never feels like there is any reward for exploring the world and instead becomes a frustrating experience of being lost.

I imagine the unique setting will resonate with some people. For me personally I felt the environments and game play were both barren and lacking.

An OK game. At the time of release the graphics were incredible and the unique climbing system made this game appealing to try out. Unfortunately the story is not engaging, nor is the clunky combat, or repetitive simple side missions.

I don't know why this game exists or why I ever bought it. Bland, uninspired gameplay, environments, and art design.

No other first person shooter brings the reward that counter strike brings. The movement and aiming are in my eyes define it as the ultimate competitive shooter. Every duel is interesting, with further complexity when you factor in teamwork. Flashing for teammates, trade killing, and smoke line-ups bring a full multiplayer experience with a bunch of depth for however far a player wants to go with the game. The economy system further allows for strategy: do you want that smoke grenade or a helmet? Do you risk buying a pistol this round so you cant buy a full utility the next round? All this makes an engaging experience. A 2 minute round timer ensures that players are regularly aggressive and encourages to take bomb sites by force. This also makes the game more engaging as a spectator experience compared to the contrastingly defensive mobas and battle royale games.

One of the least enjoyable experiences I've had in games. This third game felt like it improved nothing to the previous additions and instead felt uninspired and tedious.

This is not one of the best games I have played but instead is one of the best I have experienced. The last of us is not a fun game to play. Levels are very linear and tedious, with clunky movement and gunplay. Note that clunky gameplay is usually a positive for horror games (resident evil, silent hill, etc); for some reason here it feels like a crutch. The standouts of this game are instead in the story, soundtrack, and acting. The story is actually quite standard for a zombie story; it has expected plot twists but it is done right so it is still very enjoyable. The main reason it works is the phenomenal motion capture acting, especially by Troy Baker as Joel. He brings a weighted performance as a damaged character who has experienced loss and desperate survival for 20 years. I would consider him to be on par with Andy Serkis from this performance alone. That isn't to ignore Ashley Johnson's equally important role as Ellie, our second protagonist. We get to see our two characters develop together as the game continues, done in a non-rushed and satisfying way. The soundtrack is beautiful and heartfelt, composed and played with a lot of soul and care.

I think this is the best story in video gaming BECAUSE it can only be experiences as a video game. While gameplay is lacking, the enemies are visually and audibly excellent. The environment feels harsh and uninviting while having a subtle beauty due to its unique scientific location. It was a blast to walk on the deep ocean floor. The story is excellent and a true horror classic.

A stellar rpg, specifically if you have played Pokemon red, blue, or yellow (or the remakes). Excellent soundtrack with very well designed Pokemon make this my favorite game in the series. There is such a jump in quality from the original series in the form of day and night cycles, two new Pokemon types, wild Legendary pokemon, and many other various minigames and encounters. What really makes this game special to me is going back to Kanto from the original game, seeing how the world has changed. Cities have new layouts, some gym leaders change, and you fight Red from the original game. Brilliant.

A phenomenal pinnacle of video gaming, having first played this in 2018 I think this is the best game ever made. Deus Ex boasts a truly immersive experience due to its tactical gameplay, character dialogue, and engaging environments. One of my favorite systems is having 6 health bars: 2 for arms, 2 for legs, 1 for chest and 1 for head. If you lose one leg you will move slower, lose both and you cant stand up and have to crawl your way through the game. At one point I lost my right arm during a gun fight. Low on health kits I was no longer able to use my rifle and had to fight my way through with a mere knife. The environments feel lived in due to smart decisions in level design and script choices. For example the Hilton Hotel's LED name is broken; the 'hil' portion is blacked out and only the 'ton' remains. The local residents joke on this, referring it to the 'ton hotel. All of this is complimented with a stellar soundtrack and a game world designed to cause you to make choices, both for story and gameplay purposes. Play this game with the GMDX mod and you will discover a masterpiece.

A game bursting with excellent characters, art style, voice acting, and personality. However my fault with this game comes with its gameplay: - Too much disparity of difficulty between characters (eg. mercy and genji) - Healing regenerates far too much health, and so far only Ana has any antihealing abilities - Team comps are generally quite restrictive and revolve around a meta. - Shields usually come with too much health or too short a cooldown - Unlimited, instantaneous crouches - Only 6v6 team modes. TF2 was a far more fun game with 20v20 etc - Personally I find only the DPS characters are fun to play, which I think most people agree with as these are usually the sought after characters in ranked play
