The Wii may not be as powerful as the PS3 and XBOX 360, something you probably know. But it still is a great console. Compared to other 7th gen consoles the Wii has a better game selection and unlike other consoles, is directed to a more wider audience age-wise. A lot of great games like Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend Of Zelda Twilight Princess, and Sonic Colors are commercial success's and are widely critically acclaimed. Overall, I recommend buying a Wii (or Wii U because of backwards compatibility), and to be honest, you WON'T regret it. :)
