The controls **** so bad. And the stupid areas where you are chased and then killed are just stupid. What a damn waist of $60. I’m so pissed.

The performance on the switch is bad. It gets terrible frame rate. The controls are garbage, frustrating as hell and the game crashes often. This is not a good game.

I am so disappointed by this game. It is dull. All the sharpness that was introduced in 2016 is just lacking here. I have no interested in playing a shooter where you are note given ammo to shot with. Everything about this game is just lame.

UPDATE: After waiting a week!!! (PS4 got a fix in 2 days) for a fix to the game breaking crashes, I still end my **** gaming time with a crash. I have yet to turn the game off of my own volition, but become too disappointed when I have a good day and then the whole thing is blown to hell when the game crashes trying to save at the end of the day. Seriously, this is F##king STUPID!! This is a crazy fun game, THAT DOES NOTHING BUT CRASH!!! I have lost sooo much progress on crashes when I sleep and save, to just a random crash when I am walking around. I want to play the game so much, but I know that I will loose all my progress. It is absolutely outrageous that this game was released in the unstable condition that it is in. And what is worse, this has been in issue since the game released and there has not been a hot fix yet. The developer, or whoever is responsible, should be staying up through the night fixing this bug to get a hot fix out the the public. But to my knowledge, a patch is "in the works with no release date". FIX IT NOW or don't sell games!!!

Almost a good game, but there are a few very annoying nuances that keep it from being bun. First off, there is a fair amount of micro-managing your defense, which is great and fun, IF I have the opportunity to pause the game, decide what needs to be done, fiddle with the clumsy controls and then un-pause and watch my tactical cleverness win the day. Instead I expected to micro manage the direction my guns are facing, on the fly, to fend off attacks that come from all directions. Even more annoying is the fact that most guns can only shoot one direction and their field of fire is very limited making it nearly impossible to defend all situations that come at you. I love tower defense and I love strategy and this game gets close to pulling it off, but after a few hours of restarting in frustration because my guns just barely could not hit the baddie, I called it quits. I wish steam had a satisfaction guarantee the way origin did, because I would like to return this game.

I bought this game on sale for $5 and because of that I was very pleased. This title is a collaboration between Id and Bethesda and both influences show within the look and feel of the game. The movement and controls are quite good, combat is very fluid and the player is never left feeling out of control of the game avatar. The game looks very good as well, ever on my slightly outdated system. Vehicle combat and driving is very different then player control. It is clunky and the steering is either on or off. You are either turning or you are not. That makes the frequent racing and combat a chore rather than a joy. In this game you are able to upgrade and customize your weapons and vehicles........kind of at least. You are teased with a few tweaks for items that make you think that this game will have an RPG element to it but in reality the little that you are able to customize make almost no difference in gameplay or weapon efficiency. I spent much time racing and doing side quests to earn the "racing certs" or cash to upgrade my things, only to ultimately be very disappointed. Another problem I had with the game is the need to supply finite ammunition for your vehicles. When you make your way out into the larger (I use that word lightly) world, you find yourself in combat with other vehicles. You are able to shoot them and kill them, repair your damage or put up a shield or deploy an automated gun, all which sounds fun until you realize that everything you have is very limited which **** because the **** infinite in places. So you will discover that the solution, is to just speed by and get to where you are going as fast as you can, almost completely nulling a large portion of the game. Yet another few issues to mention, the UI is obviously made for a console (you can only scroll through 4 weapons at a time even though you can select any weapon with the appropriate number key. You can only have 4 special items equipped at a time even though you can carry hundreds of each one. Using special ammo requires using the mouse to select it from a diamond shaped, 4 quadrant menu that is brought up by holding a key and selecting it with the ENTIRELY WAY TO SENSITIVE mouse. In conclusion, this is a game worth playing IF you are able to get it for an affordable price. As a dollar value I would say this game is worth $15-$20.

Holy crap, this game ****. It is glitchy, boring, unintelligently designed, and completely not worth your time or money for many reasons. Compared to the last 2 games, which were brilliant, this is atrocious. The combat is one of my worst gripes. It seem to be designed to keep the player in large group fist fights. So far, there is no way to knock out an enemy before you just have to jump into the middle of a bunch of guys and fist fight. Throw some smoke into the fray to conceal your movement as you fight? Don't bother, it last all of 5 seconds and the baddies are still going to find you. Jump on a baddie from 10 stories up and knock him out? Nope, he will get right back up and keep fighting (WTF?). Hell you can drop on a dude 3 or 4 times and he will keep getting up. And the "ground knockout" move where you knock a guy over and then reach down and KO him is worthless if there are any other baddies because the move take SO LONG to complete, it is guaranteed to be interrupted. The fighting and gadgets, ****, hands down bad. Movement around the city feels extremely restricted. Your bat hook can only attach to, maybe a third of the building ledges and other surfaces that is should be able too. You will get stuck flying AROUND buildings because you can't grapple onto anything on the building itself. You will be looking at the edge of a roof and be getting a positive retical telling you that you CAN attach at that location, you will hit "f" and get the "crossed out" retical telling you there is nothing to grab even tho YOU ARE LOOKING RIGHT AT IT! And the glitches are numerous. I keep getting one where I go to drop onto a baddie from a flagpole, but instead, Batman will just lay down on his stomach on the pole and go nowhere. And if there is nowhere for you to hook your batclaw to pull yourself out of it, then you are stuck. I am sooooo pissed that they botched this game so bad. I would be happy if it were basically an expansion of the second game, but it is simply not good enough.

OMG the freaking quick time events!! It destroys the game! I really want to love this game, but as soon as I get lost in the enjoyment of discovery, I am yanked out of it by some generic "bridge falls out from under me" or "the rope I am hanging on snaps all of a sudden" event which leads into a stupid and un-enjoyable QTE! This is followed by a half hour of just watching Lara die over and over and over and........need I go on. I can't stand seeing a branch go through Lara's chest or a pipe through her head one more time. This is how I imagine the "Uncharted" series must play, which is why I say away from PS3 like the plague. I am upset at the butchering **** that has so much potential, EVEN THOUGH I GOT IT FOR $5. Buy it is it gets real cheep.

This is an EXCELLENT game. It is intelligent. It has secrets and puzzles that take the game play way beyond the 'retro platformer" that I expected. It plays smooth and rewards exploration. I get the same rewarding enjoyment out of this game as I did when I played Portal, Portal 2 or Antichamber or the old-school Zork games. You feel accomplishment when a puzzle is solved or a secret is found. This is a game that makes you say, "Jeez, that's brilliant." To the people saying that it does not run well on their system, IT IS YOUR SYSTEM, NOT THE GAME. I am playing this on a 3 year old ASUS G74 laptop with a 24 inch external 1980 x 1200 monitor, much more then what the computer is designed for and it runs without any issues what-so-ever. It game was $10 very well spent! I do suggest using a game pad when playing it as the game is designed to be played that way. If you love ANY of the games I mentioned above, give this awesome game a try.

What drivel! It is everything I should have expected from a shooter made by Rockstar. The cut scenes are EVERYWHERE, interrupting the game play every few seconds so there is no flow to the game. I have never had problems with epilepsy but these cut scenes make me want to vomit, with all the "artsy" blurring and fading in and out. I understand that the protagonist is in a perpetual state of intoxication, but you don't need to make me vomit as well. The weapon selection is pure crap and is obviously a port from the console version. I will have my 2 handed weapon selected when, yes, another cut scene interrupts. I am now released back into the action with my pistol selected instead of my more powerful primary and if I roll my mouse wheel the wrong direction, I drop my 2 handed weapon all together leaving me exposed in a firefight without my main weapon. Of course the painkillers are your friend, you WILL take a lot of damage, but they are scarce and not readily available. The controls are awful and clunky. The aiming recital disappears when not in use so when you enter a firefight you will need to fire off around before you can even attempt to aim. I don't like Rockstar to begin with, but after destroying one of my favorite classic games, I downright hate them. Save your money for a worthwhile game, this one is awful.
