Just a slimy developer changing the way the game plays, and slowing down the way you earn their "currency." Everything in the game requires their currency, from building your player to buying equipment. For those that don't know, as the game launched, the greatly reduced the amount of "VC," their currency, and then raised the prices of everything. Want to build your character? A full round will net you about 15 VC total. Want to improved your character? It takes about 150 VC per one notch of statistics with about 10 areas you have to improve. Quests that provide VC were also greatly reduced. If you want to actually do anything in the game, the severe reduction in earning their currency means you will be buying it. Or you'll stop playing. I'm choosing to stop playing it and letting as many people as I can about their dishonest practices before they buy the game.

Don't be fooled, just about nothing works in this game. There are so many bugs it makes the game nearly unplayable. And some of their decisions are just mindboggling. Set a depth chart in Dynasty? No. Doesn't work or save. Cut players? No. You can encourage "some" players to transfer. I have yet to figure out the rationale behind who can be encouraged. Anyone incoming is off limits, but a RS sophomore or Junior? No, it's grayed out. But if you don't make it down to the 85 player maximum, the game will cut them for you and you have no control over it. There patch notes say they fixed issues but they didn't. Dont worry though, because it will constantly default to the Ultimate Team page to try to get you to spend money.

Account to play required? Yep Long unskipable videos? Yep Terrible last gen graphics? Sure Pop up ads to buy point? You bet Not a tennis fan but have liked some tennis games and played them for dozens of hours. This was boring in the first hour. Graphic glitches like looking at the awful player models were distracting. Making a career player, you have to pick one of the names for audio. And my name is in every other sports game. However, nothing close is in this one. But they do have some of the most obscure names I've ever seen. This is a very lazy effort overall.

If you're looking to play MLB the Show 14, this is the game for you. If this was 2014, the game would easily be an 8 of 10. But for 2024, the game has already been old for about 8 years. In RTTS, they added the new "Combine" which is the exact same thing as the "Showcase" which was removed for a couple years. Other than the name, it's the exact same thing. The game claims that you can do well and be drafted high, but I did well and still got drafted in the late rounds so I'm pretty sure the game just drafts like it has the last few years. The commentary away from the game is different. Not better. In fact, it's glitched to where at the end of each month, you're supposed to have a visit with your manager who appraises you of your performance. This is happening twice a the end of each month for some reason. Very little new to Franchise. All the same issues including terrible trade logic and terrible bullpen use. The "fresh" addition is that you can now choose when you want to skip games, and it will put you in for "big moments" which I assume, given their history, they do poorly. Other than that, it's nearly the same exact game that it's been for the last decade. More or less a roster update.

The game itself, including graphics and game play is excellent, and probably the best driving game I've ever played. The fact that they reward you with so little money, roulette spins are rigged to give you a low price and you have to grind so much if you refuse to buy their BS microtransactions make this game less than a joy to play. Believe people when they say that the game is based around microtransactions for you to progress. And, it FORCES you to be onlline or you can't play 99 percent of the game in single player.

Just Cry LGBT 6: Viva La Gay Yara. The lead writer of the game is on record bragging about how he wanted to focus on gay rights. That's the focus of this game. There are two type of sexual identities in this game, LGBT and asexual. There are no straight relationships in this game. ****'re either part of the LGBT community, or you don't have a sexual identity at all. Even playing as the male Dani, he notes himself that his named is spelled wrong, presumably the girls way of spelling. Playing as the male, men constantly hit on you in this game. Should my review be entirely focused on this aspect? Why not? The game clearly intends in shoving this down your throat. Lol. Giggity. The absurdity of everyone being gay in this game ruins the experience, combined with some of the worst enemy AI found in gaming. Shoot someone and the guy next tk him looks around and waits to be shot. Walk into a compound and clear it with an I silenced machine gun, and you'll get the not discovered bonus as long as you kill everyone before their suspicion bar fills up. Don't get me wrong, I couldn't care less whether someone is straight or gay! But focusing on it in a video game is boring and unoriginal. Political statements need to end. The game earned its extremely low rating from users. So many issues that I suspect anything over about a six is either a fake review or agenda motivated.

This is an IN DEPTH review of the game to explain why so many people are giving the game zeros. Don't believe all the positive scores. I suspect review fixing because there is no way that this game deserves even close to a ten for anyone that played the game previously. Anyone saying it's "perfect" and a "masterpiece" or similar is CLEARLY lying considering they've done just about nothing to fix the games previous problems, and added a MULTITUDE of more bugs and glitches. No fair minded person can say this is better than last year. The zero reviews are earned and people are telling you why. Here is why I, like others, are rating it a zero. After asking for many years to add to the most popular modes, RTTS and Franchise, they either did very little (franchise) or gutted it entirely (RTTS). Last year is about the same as the previous three or four years for both modes. This year include a majority of the same glitches that we've all seen that they can't bother to fix. If you want this game, buy 20 and save money with all the same features in RTTS and Franchise. There are four basic modes people play. RTTS (which is the largest), franchise, March to October and diamond dynasty. As I said, most people buy this game for RTTS, the career mode. I don't know how popular DD is, but maybe 1 out or 10 topics I read about involve it. It's the main money maker for this developer like MUT on Madden. RTTS has been gutted in this game, and linked with ballplayer which requires you to grind Diamond Dynasty if you want to succeed at any speed. After four days of playing the game (early access), the majority of people aren't close to the majors. The mode also has numerous glitches which prevent you from progressing. The developer acknowledged the bugs but said it might be the distant future until they are fixed. Unlike years past, can only have ONE character but with multiple saves. No more having a series is characters you play because it's all linked to ballplayer. The story mode is exactly the same with all the same interactions that have been there for five plus years. As I said, there are bugs which most people (not rare, but the norm) have encountered that prevent your player from progressing. Franchise is nearly exactly the same, with very few differences. The stadium creator is pretty lackluster and prevents you from playing games at night due to lighting issues. Also, there is NO VAULT in stadium creator. This means if you'd like to find the perfect stadium, or a replica historical stadium, you have to SCROLL through thousands of pages. There are about seven stadiums on each page with most of them being terrible or one of the 30 added stadiums with something altered. At last check, there were over 2200 PAGES with seven stadiums a piece with NO way to sort or search. And, honestly, the stadiums look like they are from PS3 or before. They say they've added trade logic and salary logic which might be true, but I haven't seen in making trades. The AI still accepts everything it used to, and the trade system is still minimal and exactly the same. There are a few additions to franchise which include a better depth chart which is nice. If all you care about is DD, then you're someone who doesn't care about quality anyway and would buy a polished turd and brag the corn has been removed, so clearly you're not the person I'm trying to educate. Don't believe the people saying "Load times are fast," because they're not. Having played 20, this game loads about the same into game. HOWEVER, it takes up to FIVE minutes coming out of games if you ever touched the sliders, even if you put them back to default. The reason? Apparently the game has to confirm with the servers that you're not allowed to earn points. This causes an "unhandled" server error. Once the game FINALLY reaches the menu after a game, you'll get a repeating "unhandled" server error which, most of the time, clears up after about five to ten times of pressing "OK."

I have to give this a three for some awful planning. Every year it's the same, tons of issues. There are some pretty horrendous bugs as well such as fielders not moving when balls are hit over their heads. Many of the same issues as last year that they always promise they will fix but never do. Beautiful graphics this year. Finally a step up which is long over due. Ball physics are nice. Not able to access anything online. And seven hours with it a response or comment from then is telling. They have some of the worst customer service in the gaming business.

Unbelievably bad. If you didn't like the last few CoD's, this will be the worst of all time for you. No redeeming value whatsoever. The MP looks like it was made by 4 year olds that like bright colors. The enemy constantly gets lost in the maps. The hit detection is on par with the awful hit detection of current games (although MWR is even worse). I had no interest in the campaign because I dont want to play Star Halo Wars.

They took an amazing game and, instead of improving it, made it absolute trash with the horrible net connection that today's CoD's all "enjoy." I have a "decent" connection on Infinite Warfare (which is probably the worst CoD game to date including AW), but the connection on CoD MWR is the worst I've ever seen. With 90/10 d/u, and as low as 35 ping up to 2000 miles away (an amazing interent), I'm behind a good two to three seconds. It's laughable. I see someone, shoot and insta-die. On their kill cam, they've seen me for three seconds (yes, that long) and have all day to shoot me, then don't register being hit. I can't describe how truly awful they made this game.

This game is rubbish. After playing for a bit, I decided it wasn't worth my time due to the pedestrian graphics, poor game play and overly complex and mind numbingly bad user interface. I checked the forum to see if there were any redeeming qualities and immediately found a (locked) thread about poor balance and bugs. The developer/moderator argued incessantly with their customers and warned people despite having no cause. I then wrote a review of the boring game play and mentioned that they were awful to deal with on the forums. The developer had it flagged so it doesn't count against their negative reviews. I'm sure they're doing the same thing with other negative reviews. Beware!

One of the worst games I've ever played in any genre. So many issues with this game. It's unbelievable how people consistently support it and constantly overlook all the awful things about the game. This game is the epitome of style over substance. Even on quick presentation, the game drags with all its constant and unforgiving popups. Having a problem switching defenders before the play is called? That's because you're not allowed to do it until the popup that blocks the screen showing your "Slot Receiver" concludes. And I bet you thought it was just a problem with your controller or you weren't doing it right. Try it out. It's absolutely the popup. I've had to force close the game about ten times in 24 hours (or about 4 hours of actual play time) because the game freezes when loading certain settings. Trying to save? Good luck. That's when it freezes the most. The game forces you to watch things you just dont care about. I want to get into my next play, not watch two members of the opposite team talk to each other. That's what choosing "quick presentation" should be for. With everyone praising the physics of the game, I find it laughable that people become rag dolls on tackles and look as if they should be breaking their legs being constantly bent backwards, or at least have some major ACL/MCL tears. Praise all you want, but they look ridiculous. The menus are just painful to navigate through. The lag going from one menu to the next is just painful. This has to be the worst menu system, both functionally and because of lag, of any game or app or program I've ever seen. It's amazing this game has so many fans. I'm truly dumbfounded. This game is the perfect answer to the question "Why would we ever need competition?"

This game is currently at 2.5 and that's a bit too high. While the developer "fixed" the network issues, users have a ton of issues with constant crashing. If you liked Space Run the Original, which I did, you're still probably not going to like this game. The tutorial is sketchy, the menu system is inefficient. So many clicks of the mouse to do basic things. After a mission, you might get four or five rewards which you need to click on each one to clear as well as all the other clicks you need that feel like they're for no reason. It feels like a game made by a developer that is so proud of itself, it forces you to pat them on the back every two seconds. The game play is lackluster. Lots of grinding and artificial difficulty for what feels like absolutely no reason. The game is just not enjoyable.

Well, game play isn't exactly the right term. The first two hours have been about 80 percent really bad movie (that you'd can't skip), 5 percent loading and about 15 percent game play. Most of that game play has been of the "follow me" variety to set up the narrative with no choice availble. Movement: I have a topic about the poor movement system already posted, and I've finally figured out exactly how it feels. Have you ever played a PC game that didn't have a controller option available, so you used a program like Xpadder to map the keyboard to a controller? It's that bad. The controls make you feel like you're floating and unresponsive. It's, by far, the absolutely worst movement system I've played on a console. Frame rate: The frame rate appears average to below average, but there are so many points where it lags for no reason, it feels like it's in an early alpha. Even when it's not in combat, the lag happens every minute or so, if not more. Something as simple as going through a window or around a corner causes it, and it's about 2-3 seconds of lag each time. Save System: Remember the early 2000's when you restarted the checkpoint and had to go all the way back to the cut screen and watch it again? Welcome back. Instead of starting after the cut screen, the few times I've tied (mostly from getting annoyed at not knowing where to go and just running blindly until I was shot giving me a brief but sweet relief from the poor game play), it's put me back before the last cut screen to watch whatever short video led me to this point. After about two hours of "playing" the game, I haven't done anything. The acting/voice acting is terrible. The plot is ridiculous and isn't even feasible. Without giving any spoilers away, it's like a ten year old thought of the plot and the developer ran with it, amazingly with no understanding of politics, weapons building and purchasing, and common sense. I guess it's supposed to be an alternative time line as well considering the "history" of North Korea is incredibly different (and outpaces the technology of the rest of the world). I really enjoyed the first game considering it flew under the radar when it was released. I had very high hopes this game would be good. So far, this has been a bad purchase. Beware.

The "good" reviews look planted, especially since they're all liked to raise them to the top. You CANNOT be have a legitimate review of this game if you gave it a "10." Every mode is broken. I don't play online, but most people have "Challenge Failed" repeatedly. Do some research on forums to see all the issues before you buy. This is one of the buggiest games I've ever played. I originally gave this a "5," but each update breaks the game further. If you like to be a paid tester (where YOU pay $60 for a broken game), then this is the game for you. Tough to review. Some great new features. Some things (line drive off the pitcher) that have been in the game for years that they haven't taken out and actually become worse. The rosters are awful. Ratings are written as if there is no baseball knowledge whatsoever. Vast improvement to pay for play portions of the game. Minimal improvement to RTTS and franchise. Player morale system that is shady (people upset about contracts they just signed, why?). People upset that THEY aren't playing at the level they'd like make their ratings go down

I was able to get into one room where the game was hacked (one team had something like 50 kills, the other team had 0, and they took no damage). Couldn't get in to another game. Tried it a month later. Couldn't get in again. Gave up. I couldnt care less when/if this ever gets fixed.
