Buggy achievements may not matter to some, but when I play a game they give me something extra to play for and many people love them. EA Sports titles very often either ruin the games by making them a miserable grind to get achievement hunters to microtransactions or they are broken. This is an example of the latter. Outside of that, the game is basically identical to last year, like all of their sports titles. It also continues to neglect the one update that would be meaningful, and a huge deal for a massive chunk of the college football fanbase, FBS teams (or at least a good enough stadium creator so someone can actually fully create those teams). It will either never come or be a $40 microtransaction.

Locking out achievements if you use accessibility settings is an insult to those who need them. At that point, don't include them.

This is the only game since the Xbox 360 that had a issue with a save. I was working through various other paths and suddenly my save was gone. Do not touch this game unless you want to do one quick playthrough and stop

This is the same game again like the last few Forza Horizon games. It is lucky the Japan setting makes it worthwhile or this would be a total waste of time besides to play more of the same thing, which is admittedly great if you are fine with no updates. The character creator just needs removed. There are minimal options and nothing but meh, sloppy looking clothing. It would be easier to just not show the racer.

This is mostly great just because it shows a time before teens decided doing nothing but whining was the way to go. Almost everything in the story is something that actually happened to small town teens around where I live in the 90s. As for gameplay, it has more funny, interesting and enjoyable minigames than most narrative games that are nothing but QTEs. If you go in with realistic expectations, since it is a narrative game, there is no downside.

Being exclusive to Meta entirely ruins this game. I had wanted to try it, so luckily I have a friend unfortunate enough to have the worst headset on the market. If you, for some reason, have a Meta Quest 3S, it is fine, but if you have used any other headset at all (the Samsung Galaxy Gear VR is almost better), the downgrade of being stuck on Meta is not worth it. Would be an 8 of 10 on any other device.

Overall the game is fine but navigating and finding some of the hidden paths seems pretty much impossible to find without a guide. It is hard to give this game anything higher since it is hard to actually even see the game from a simple navigation standpoint.

Being as this is a spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead, the fact that they left out split screen, which is basically the only way I played Left 4 Dead, has ruined this before I even played it. Then they took progression away for single player. If you didn't want people to play solo or with friends at home why did you not make it online only.

I basically only played this because it had easy trophies on the PlayStation 4 and was someone hoping for an improved experience. I was very disappointed because the game didn't seem to change at all besides adding a very mediocre mode that wasn't there before. It was already very mediocre on PlayStation 4 and now the trophies are glitched on the PlayStation 5 version so it has nothing to redeem it.

I really enjoyed the original version of this game That I played on the original Xbox. I then played the somewhat recent re-release on PlayStation 4. I also enjoyed that version. I didn't get this one and enjoy it until the end. I get to the final boss and it is at least 10 times harder than it was in any previous release of this game. At this point, I am more frustrated than I have basically ever been at a video game. The worst part is, is that I am a huge completionist with trophies so now I am going through absolutely miserable, poorly check pointed, rage trying to beat this game. The worst part is probably the fact that I have had the health bar of the final boss completely empty two or three times now and that isn't when they die.

If you are here to see how the game really is and not just listen to a bunch of people cry and whine I have actually played the game. I would probably put $10,000 on the fact that of the 60,000 that have "reviewed" the game so far at least 40,000 of them have never touched it and just have nothing better to do with their pathetic lives then run a great game into the ground because they heard that there was an aspect they they weren't going to like. In reality, it has some of the best graphics of any game I played this generation, very smooth gameplay and, although you may not like where it goes, the story is good. Just because someone was bold enough to make a decision you might not like from a story standpoint, it is not a reason to hate a game that is great otherwise. Many of the problems that people had before the game even launched with the leaks was deaths. If you expect to come into the Last of Us Part 2 and not have characters die you should probably put down your controller and go grab your Switch and play Animal Crossing. It would be like watching a war movie and expecting no one to die. The bottom line is even if you end up hating the story the gameplay is fluid, the graphics are fantastic, the environments are amazing and the exploration is engaging. If you're hating that bad on the story skip the cutscenes and just have fun with the game and stop trying to ruin it for other people.
