Great game, but the environments didn't make the game feel as unique as the games predecessors. The gameplay is great though, as it improves a few things that the second game added, and even added a few new moves. The level design for the most part is flawless. In the end I kind of prefer 2 over this from a critical standpoint(from a personal standpoint I prefer one, as I for some reason enjoyed it the most, no real reason to though as 2 and 3 are better in every way) If you like simple 3d platformers, definitely play this one. Naughty Dog makes a good game.

It's an okay expansion. They did a few things to improve, like religions, and combat HP. But it could have been a lot more than it was. As some others have said, if you didn't like Civ V, don't buy it. I for one, liked Civ V, so it was kind of neat, but nothing special.

What can I say about Civ V that hasn't already been said a million times. It's not like the others, it's not as big, it's not as intricate, etc. This is all true, but I've never played any other Civ games, and for me, this one was pretty fun to me. That said, it is a very flawed game. The AI is very wonky, and the barbarians can be a bit weird sometimes, but on the whole. It's a fun game. If you've played other civs, you may not like it, but as a first time player, I really like it.

Ah, Bomberman. Good old Bomberman. Out of all the local multiplayer games I've played Bomberman in general has got to be one of my all time favorites, next to Worms, and Mario Party. The playful chaos of the games always gets me coming back. Unfortunately we haven't seen much of him recently, and the last one I bought was on the Dreamcast, to which I no longer have. I tried to play some of the newer ones, but in terms of the multiplayer, I think this one is the most "recent" one that offers the best experience. Now that is the multiplayer. The story on the other hand, I don't care for. That said, I didn't care for the ones on N64, but many people liked it, and I can't say it is bad. If you've never played Bomberman, definitely start with this one, from what I gather the story is about as good as the other ones, and the multiplayer is one of the best ones to date(Saturn Bomberman still trumps them all, but I don't have a Saturn) and you can still play in on the Wii if you don't have a gamecube(or like me, dump the game to PC and play on Dolphin emulator. Works like a charm for me and the multiplayer works perfect. That said, I'm not condoning Piracy, I own the game). In the end, even if you don't like one mode or the other, as far as I can see, Bomberman Generations is probably one of the best choices despite its "age". Pick it up will ya?

Bastoin is a very enjoyable indie game with a big heart. You can really feel that the creators put their emotions into the art, story, soundtrack etc. What really makes the game stand out is the Narrator. Some may find him grating, but I and many others find him to be a very interesting way to give us the narrative of the game. I'll put it this way, could you listen to an audiobook about a game while playing a game. If that seems even vaguely interesting you might like it, but if that sounds annoying then maybe you should pass as the narrator is always there. The gameplay for me is a bit of a miss, but many people like it. It blends a top down rpg with some hack and slash elements. For me, it got a bit bland as I'm not a particular fan of such games(but the narrator kept me going) but for some it, and the great customization can make the game fun even if they dislike the narrator. Again the visuals in the game. Very pretty. That's about all I can say, as that is all I could think. The soundtrack is lovely and I think really help the narration flow. The story while may seem rather convoluted at first, can be rather intriguing if you listen to the narrator enough, and do all the bonus missions. I'm not going to spoil anything, but the ending bit is rather emotional, well, for a game of this caliber at least. In the end, I really think that the narrator is the deciding factor in many peoples enjoyment of the game. So if you would like it, then definitely play it. Heck, if the gameplay sounds interesting enough, give it a go if it's on sale.
