Why do people always think films need to be good? This film lasts like 2 hours and for all that time something is happening. Story? Humour? Characters? Who needs anything this film has a premise and like one good joke about not putting on a mask because they are drinking.

Twilight is **** This is what vamoire movies should be. Big CGI messes with a guy who runs a cult doing stuff and he was joker and sometimes he took his shirt off but he didnt sparkle. He was half bat so a vampire unlike Batman who is played by Twilight and is all emo and **** this is emo this is not emo.

This film is a thoroughly enjoyable watch, full of great characters, performances and iconic moments. Although only loosely based on true events it certainly gives a perspective of what it was like for P.O.W'S and there captures.

Lots of fanservice and fun charater moments. The plot makes sense but some leaps in logic have to be made. If you like spiderman you will like it. Lot of cheering at the cinema where I saw this.

Brilliant. Not a conventional blockbuster, but tense from start to finish. Each story could stand alone as it's own film and the way they intertwine is brilliant. A true masterpiece.

10 Cloverfield Lane9
Apr 16, 2016
If you were planning on watching this film hoping to get answer to all the questions you have had since watching Cloverfield, this film will disappoint you as it has none. This film does have something much better than answer though, even more questions! The film starts of with Mary Elizabeth Winstead character Michelle running away from her life before being run off the road and waking up in a bunker occupied by Howard (John Goodman), who claims to have brought her there to wade out the apparent attack on the country. Also in the bunker is Emmett (John Gallagher Jr) who says he there for protection. But through several twist and turns you start to question the nature of Michelle situation, the Motivation behind her abduction and the fate of the world above the bunker. As each new revelation into what is happening is revealed the tension grows and grows. John Goodman plays his role as dooms day prepper, conspiracy nut brilliantly. The film constantly makes you re-evaluate your opinion of him going from a nut to, good Samaritan who has your sympathy, to possible someone much sinister. The film however lies mainly on the shoulders of Mary Winstead as it is through her eyes the audience watches the film and she is excellent through out. Michelle is a thoroughly engaging and resourceful character who you are one hundred percent routing for from start to finish. Emmett is also well played and will have you hoping he makes it out okay as well as being a brilliant friend for Michelle and source of irritation for Howard. The ending is as tense as the rest of the film and shows of the how bad ass Michelle is whilst adding so much more to what intrigue to what Cloverfield is and what is to come next. All round the movie is superb and as much as I hope all this will be explained, having it be what it is and making no sense with no context to what is happening is equally as entertaining.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice4
Apr 16, 2016
There is a lot to say about this film, but if you just want a opinion in one line ' it is kind of **** Anyone who want to read more of why I think that, you are in luck as I'm avoiding doing course work. Opening credits show the Waynes death. Not much to say about that except please let it be the last time ( Also did you know Batmans mums name is Martha, it's super important). The movie starts of with a bang. Watching the new Bruce Wayne ( you know Ben Affleck plays him) run through the city as Man of steel rages above him is genuinely cool. It gives credence to why Batman has a grudge against this guy who in part was responsible for the destruction of a city and how he was personally effected by what happened at Wayne tower. The scene did have a weird bit where apparently the employees would not evacuate unless Bruce said so, this leads me to assume Wayne industries has some really strict employment rules but whatever. After this the film nose dives into over an hour incoherently strung together scenes which set out about five sub plots which the films struggles to wrestle together until Lex Luthor blows up the senate and shouts go beat up Batman. Whatever happened in Africa is forgotten about the debate about what is the role of Superman becomes obsolete, as everyone in the film who cared about that plot died. The titular bout ends up being forced. Any reason to why superman would really want to take on Batman is thrown out as soon as his mum is captured by Lex and Batman is never shown to be a character who people think can take superman. Going into the film I expected a a build up through out the film where people are almost arguing like kids on a play ground to who would win in a fight, Superman or the myth that is Batman. Instead Batman is mostly ignored by everyone in the movie with any mention of his name being met with disinterest. No one was contemplating that the crime fighter from Gotham could be the one who goes toe to toe with a god, but that what kryptonite is for I guess. Despite this, as far as fight choreography goes Zach Snyder knows what he is doing. The fight is easy to follow epic in feel and ended by the word Marther. That kind of cuts short would should have been a longer fight. It should also be noted that this is not a Superman film, it is a Batman film. Why no one can make a Superman without giving most of the attention to either Lois or another supporting character is beyond me, but most of the time is spent with a very grumpy Bruce Wayne. Ben Affleck does a fine job in the role but he is not playing Batman. The interpretation of his character kills, he brands people, he shoots guns. Gone is the morale compass and determination to not become just another criminal that 75 years of comics has given us. What left is a character from watchmen, it's a brutal interpretation of the icon which I wouldn't mind so much if this wasn't what we were getting in what is going to be the definitive set of DC films. Superman is left with less screen time to be grumpy and literally has a bomb go off in his face when his time to talk comes, which is frustrating as Henry Cavill needs his time to shine as the Character and just is not been given a lot to do. Lois Lane is shoe horned in wherever possible to try and keep the many threads of the plot in the air, however for all the screen time she gets I feel her part could be cut from the film and nothing much would change. Congratulations to Gal Gadot, who despite being barely in this film made me excited for Wonder Woman. More on the last fight in a bit but without saying much at all she stood out as a great character. The villains of this film are a weak point on what was already very thin ice. Jesse Eisenberg must have been told to act like a cross between the Riddler and Mark Zuckerberg so can't blame him for the result but seriously it was bad. In this universe where all the heroes seem to be in need of anti depressants, I hope they don't make the same trend of all villains being pulled straight out of Looney tunes. The idea did not work and needs to be toned down. All I can say about Dooms day is he looks like a cave troll and why did he keep exploding? By the time Bats and supes have bonded over their mums sharing a name and Batman has murdered everyone to save Martha the finale fight begins. Dooms day comes exploding....... I'm bored, this movie is devoid of energy and direction. The set up to future films were forced, cheap and nonsensical at times and all an it was kind of ****
