PROS: A lovely, but gloomy planetary setting, fairly intriguing story, good voice acting from the main character and a couple others. CONS: Plenty of walking back and forth, riding elevators many dozens of times, a clunky interface, some visual glitches, dull "prison" setting. When I first played it many years ago, I gave this a 9, but now a 5 is a more realistic, if somewhat harsh, rating.
A huge disappointment. Feels, and looks, wooden. No option to run for most (?) characters, just baffling. Look to the fan made Streets of Rage remake to see how things are supposed to work.
Uninteresting, uninspired story. Forces you to perform repetitive tasks, such as opening doors and flicking on light switches. This is all the 'gameplay' you're going to get. Not deserving of anyone's time or money. Go for Firewatch if you're into walking simulators - that one's a masterpiece.
+ Beautiful graphics / retro feel - the story did not grab me (stopped playing about 1/4 of the way through) - mostly dull or annoying characters - unskippable dialogue All in all, a rather poor imitation of classic 90s LucasArts games. So many people seem to like it, but I just don't see what all the fuss is about.
++ Lovely graphics, atmosphere and music - too much backtracking and sometimes feeling lost / relying on trial and error -- the story gets progressively convoluted and by the end is just an awful mess - lackluster NPC characters
