Weapons is the kind of horror that doesn’t scream — it watches you. It starts off strange, slowly crawls under your skin, and before you know it, you’re trapped in its atmosphere. Beautiful and disturbing at once, full of silence that speaks louder than scares. One that truly gets to you.

A film that tells the story of a Mexican character but basically has no Mexicans in the cast, the Spanish is dreadful, and somehow, it seems to have more Oscar nominations than it deserves, even in categories that don’t quite make sense, if you catch my drift.

The movie is wonderful. Fernanda Torres is absolutely sensational. Yes, after much thought, I want her to win. Not just because of the film and her performance, but also because, like one of her competitors, she’s essentially the same age. This could be a way to highlight so many different issues. And in the current state of the world, this movie is necessary for everyone, everywhere. To ensure that what happened in the film doesn’t happen again, whether in Brazil or anywhere else in the world. Long live freedom, AS LONG AS it comes WITH ethics and respect for everyone.

To simply violate a woman during the filming of this movie—an idea conceived by Marlon Brando and the director—is one of the most reprehensible acts imaginable. It does not matter if he is a talented artist or a skilled director; his actions essentially ruined the young woman's life. If you think this is trivial, let me see how you would feel if the same were done to you.

I have just recently had the pleasure of viewing the film, only a few hours ago, and I find myself utterly captivated by the masterful execution across every aspect of its creation—be it the script, direction, cinematography, practical effects, or digital effects. While I am not a technician, nor have I studied the art of cinema, I am simply an ardent admirer of the franchise, and I find it impossible to identify any notable flaws or areas in need of improvement. Admittedly, there may well be some minor imperfections, but as someone who holds a deep appreciation for the *Alien* franchise—particularly the first and second instalments—and who resonates with the thematic pursuit of *Prometheus*, this film is nothing short of an absolute delight. If you have the opportunity to experience it in IMAX on a day when the theatre is not overly crowded, I cannot recommend it highly enough. Marvellous, truly marvellous; I am quite literally at a loss for words and find myself unable to extol its virtues to the extent it deserves.

Watch with good sound quality. The film doesn't romanticize that family but rather shows how far humans can go to achieve their goals and, as many say, the banality of evil. An excellent movie, extremely relevant today.

Like every review I see after watch, definitely the first time watch at theater, IMAX will be better especially to this movie. Brutal, magical, in some way emotional, I absolutely love. Still thinking about the movie hours after.
