Hate to use this term, but once again, movie is cursed by the ''Based on a Video Game'' disease. I played the game back then, and because it was a MMORPG, I felt the atmosphere of the game by relating to the character I created and levelled up with. Unfortunatly, it doesn't work this way with movies. You need way much character development, better pacing and better acting. I can't find a movie good if it's just paying hommage to a fanbase, even if I belonged to this fanbase.

In 2010, a wonderful blockbuster movie came out: Inception. Six years later, another blockbuster came out: Deception (aka Batman V Superman). I was expecting this to be disappointing, because I knew this would have the same pacing as Man of Steel, but I thought Zack Snyder would have learned from his mistakes. Once again, same problem: a superhero movie trying to be too dark and serious. Makes me think of the failing Fantastic Four (2015). DC should learn how to keep balance between self-aware fun and respect to the comics at the same time.

For a romance movie this was... okay. Not too stupid, not too unrealistically frustrating, it was colorful and funny at times. However, it still stands as a cliché romance ''chick flick''. It may just not be for me, but I felt like I have seen movies like this a thousand times before.

I thought this movie could have potential if it was a little more grounded and serious. But when I saw George Clooney being goofy and and completely unaware of danger, I wasn't biting. The only message of morality this movie brought was that greed is bad. Nothing special at all.
