I came here after seeing that Glen was looking for honest reviews and I will do as such. I have played all the CoDs, BFs, and other shooters. simply put mw3 is a great game but it doesn't aspire to greatness like the other CoDs did. the massive exodus from infinity ward is obviously stated in this games under development and inspiration. it makes me excited for respawn studios game though. this game plays the exact opposite of bf3. where bf had a bland campaign and innovative mp, mw3 has done the opposite. play this game for the campaign, prestige once in mp just to check out the new system then leave it. black ops was more more creative with its emblem system, wager matches, and map creation. if infinity ward has anything to do w the next mw I will be passing on it. single 9.5/10 multi 8/10.
This game gets way too much credit for its pros and enough flak for its cons. Be prepared to have no idea about certain elements of the game as they try to play up the mystery portion of the game. And then enter battles where you could be involved anywhere from 5-35 minutes depending on how well equipped you are. And the only way to get well equipped is to fight the same guys atleast 5 times. For how long it takes to beat this game it gets real repetitive real fast. Its innovatove gameplay and deep custimazation are intriguing for about ten hours but after that you find yourself just wanting it to be over as tapping circle circle square circle about 5000 times is not fun.
