An absolute masterpiece! I think we have to clarify at the beginning that this is a heavily story-based game, with clear limitations gameplay-wise. The characters are really relatable; you can live through these life-threatening conflicts through their eyes, and the whole story is really moving and touching. The other major advantage is the atmosphere. The combination of stunning visuals and breathtaking background music makes it a perfect setting. I just cannot find the proper words to describe how outstanding this game is in this regard. If you consider all of these things, you won't feel like something is missing from the gameplay. There are several puzzles and stealth actions, with a few direct conflicts. Overall, it's among the best games in this genre, certainly recommended!

This is a huge disappointment. The story is just completely unnecessary, and the gameplay is mediocre at best. Different types of races have been introduced, but the scoring system is just utterly nonsensical. Just to give you an example: you can participate in off-road races, with dedicated off-road cars and upgrades for the terrain, but there is a limit at each race to even be able to play, and the scoring system that determines this is completely based on the regular racing conditions. It means that if you equip off-road tyres, the score of your car will be decreased! Even if you buy the best off-road vehicle, you cannot upgrade it to its full potential, because your score will be reduced so much that you won't be able to enter several off-road races later on! The whole system is a whole garbage! I cannot recommend this game to anyone. Maybe only if you want to suffer, then sure.

This is a masterpiece, no doubt! Although this was my very first AC game to try and finish, I really loved the action-based gameplay and that little bit of RPG-ish style. The map is huge, and ancient Egypt looks gorgeous! The story is really interesting and exciting throughout most of the game. Simple exploration is fun on its own; you can ride camels, horses, and even chariots. The bounty hunters are really spicing things up. I absolutely enjoyed the encounters with them. It's really pleasing to discover historically famous places and buildings, so as a history lover, I really appreciated these occasions. On the other hand, I found the references to certain conspiracy theories really funny, and I also really enjoyed the rather myth-focused parts. All in all, the atmosphere, gameplay, and story really add up to make an exceptional game. Absolutely recommended!

In my personal view, this is the peak of the modern AC series. The action-based, RPG-like gameplay was really enjoyable throughout the whole story, and the visuals were breathtaking. Combined with the magnificent soundtrack, the atmosphere is perfect! I also have to mention that I'm in love with this era and setting, so it was definitely a huge plus for me, but every other aspect of the game was exceptional as well. The story can be surprisingly moving sometimes, and on those occasions, when your decisions matter, you can feel the consequences of your choices later on. I don't want to spoil anything from it, but you can decide on several lives around you. The DLCs are also worth it; I really enjoyed both. The first one continues the main story, and the second one adds some extra layers to the mythological side of the game. The land and the sea hold several adventures, and the side quests felt interesting to me. You may have to wake the hamster inside you to collect everything, but with all the positive things I mentioned, the huge amount of loot hasn't felt overwhelming — one of the all-time best games ever for me.

Need for Speed: Rivals

PRO: The gameplay is correct, similar to Hot Pursuit (2010) and Most Wanted (2012). The soundtrack is OK, but it could be better. The car selection is much better, especially with Ferrari included! The classic races, hot pursuits and 1v1 situations are also really enjoyable. I really appreciate you being able to play as a cop again. CON: You can't pause the game even in free-roaming mode. You have to find a garage to save your progress, especially your money, which can be lost completely if you lose your full health bar. The major problem is, and this is HUGE, that the game does not support steering wheels! A car racing game! How did it make sense during the development? It's utter nonsense! I don't want to use more rude words; however, it is deserved!

Need for Speed: Most Wanted

I cannot compare it to the previous Most Wanted, so maybe I'm less biased with this one. I genuinely think that this is an awesome NFS game. The gameplay was 9/10 for me, almost as good as in the Hot Pursuit (2010), which was my first experience in the NFS frenchise. The soundtrack is outstanding, 10/10 in my opinion. The variety of cars is really good, but some of the most exciting cars are included only in DLCs. I really missed the option to play as a cop, but I understand the game's main concept. The fact that you can find new cars anywhere in the city and drive them instantly has its advantages and disadvantages. It makes exploration way more interesting, because you can find treasures anywhere, but it feels less rewarding to drive a hypercar almost immediately after starting the game. The heat level system is OK, and the upgrades can make real differences. I really enjoyed just roaming the city in a massive pickup truck and demolishing dozens of cop cars, but creating a fragile yet superfast hypercar can be exciting as well. All in all, I can recommend this game anytime.

This was my very first NFS experience, and I was very fortunate to have a steering wheel for even better gameplay. You wouldn't believe it, but I still have the corners in my muscle memory, even with a controller in the newer version of the game. I compared every other NFS game to this, and I still think that it was fantastic. The gameplay was smooth, the music was outstanding, and the cars' versatility was enough to make every replay interesting, with slightly different behaviour. The toughest opponent is time, especially when you are testing a cop car; you always have to be extra careful not to hit anything on your way. But the 1v1 chases or the classic hot pursuits are extremely exciting, I have replayed my favourite races dozens of times.

Tavern Master

It's a simple medieval, fantasy-shaped tavern management simulator. I really enjoyed the process of growing the business, building new rooms and levels for my tavern. The core of the game is absolutely fine; it delivers what it promises. The visuals are also OK, it's a little bit simplified; you can get used to this after the first few hours. About the music: it could include more melodies, but for the atmosphere, it's perfect. In other words, the quality is great, but the quantity could be improved. On the other hand, I have experienced some random frame drops, and unfortunately, sometimes they lasted inconveniently long. The endgame can become boring, once you need just the last few upgrades, but otherwise, the vast majority of the game is interesting enough to make you return in you tavern from time to time. I've spent around 15 hours in the game, and honestly, I feel like I have seen everything it can offer. But maybe I will return to this a few years later again. Really nice, cosy game; I can recommend it to anyone who wants to escape from everyday duties for a while.

The best game ever. Period. Okay, I'm a bit biased, since it was my first video game I have ever played and absolutely loved. For me, it became the gold standard for every other RTS game, and it defined my experience in this genre. I have played for several hundred hours and haven't regretted a minute. Nowadays, the Definitive Edition may provide a better experience, mostly visually, but this is the OG king.

I've played through the whole story and tried a few extra missions in the Free Ride mode. I honestly think that this is a really good game overall, just be mindful of your expectations. The visuals are extraordinary, the scenery is breathtaking. The story has everything that I require in a maffioso-themed game, so I don't agree with those who criticised this aspect harshly. The characters are interesting; however, some of them may need a bit more depth or detail. The gameplay is also fine; the racing missions are definitely less frustrating or punishing than in the original one. The knife duels are also great; I really enjoyed these occasions that occurred from time to time. The Free Ride mode adds some extra layers, and it can elongate the game time, but I don't think the game has good replayability. You can replay each chapter separately, which is great, but I wouldn't restart the whole story. The atmosphere is fantastic, so it's definitely worth a try.

I've played it on PC, purchased on Epic. At first, I was unsure about the genre, but it hooked me in really fast. I love the setting, which probably helped a lot. You can customise your experience. If you find yourself stuck, you can activate god mode and make your life (or afterlife? :D ) a bit easier. The game can surprise you even after tens of hours. Not gonna lie, I'm at about 80 hours and still have more to discover about the characters' relationships, unlocking hidden features, etc. I can absolutely recommend this game for even those who are hesitating to try this rogue-like genre at all, because I can guarantee that you will have lots of fun playing this game!
