There is no way but to compare as there are games of the same genre on the market and I was comparing it with the game of Anno series... Hands down, Anno is much better. The mechanics for development are not easy to follow, so you don't exactly know how many of each building you need to keep your town in balance; controls are fine, but I had to use a keyboard for moving around; the story is sort of meh. I haven't played Settlers series much before (tried one of the first very long time ago and didn't like it much) and wasn't much impressed this time. It's not bad, but not good enough for me to spend my time on it.

It's alright as a first-person shooter, but it's not following the same ambiance as all previous parts. It's supposed to be funny and there are supposed to be a lot of good (or so bad that it feels good) one-liners. it should be appropriate for kids - Sam is a rough and tough dude, but the worst he said in all previous parts was "What the..." and "Damn" - in this one, it's all the time F*** and M**F**. And there is so much gore, don't know I liked all previous (and especially part 2) more.

A very nice snooker simulation; accurate mechanics and easy to use interface. The game can be quite hard when your opponent chooses to be not forgiving and one mistake at the beginning of the game will surely lead to your defeat. But that's alright, the main problem I had was a total lack of any story or plot (which probably is the point with simulations), but which on the other hand means repetitive games with faceless opponents, which at the end can be quite boring. Still, my score is 8 out of 10.
