A friend convinced me to watch this movie in exchange for a round of golf. The film turned out to be a sand trap, and I left after 90 minutes. Did it really need to exist in our Western film library? Did it offer any relevant or truthful experiences from that era? This movie needs a hole-in-one to compensate for Kevin Costner's lost appeal among four primary audiences: 1) Women who adored the Yellowstone TV show and dropped him as swiftly as he divorced his wife, using his unfair power advantage to invalidate their 19-year marriage. 2) of Taylor Sheridan who saw Costner as an ungrateful bully to a producer that revived his slowing career. 3) Fans of Whitney Houston, who might have followed if there had been even a handful of Black cowboys, as there were during that time. 4) Fans of real women from that era who were tougher than cement and deserved to hear the authentic grit of their survival in their voice, dialogue, and carriage—not some male fantasy.

If only it had the ending I wanted... then at 10. Beautiful, raw, present. Love in all it's complicated struggles to grow from seed to salve.

Great to Keanu and Carrie. Missed the old crew. Super glad they got out of the old religious trope. New meaning - bring it on. Didn't like the attempt to be "Inception" with the cap twist to Warner Bros. Like in the future, Warner Bros is a thing? Seriously, it is not a productive use of time with the whole expose on their WB's need to push a new feature movie. And, wasted minutes with old movie footage as a plot explainer tool. And, using Sandi's presence as a plot explainer. Geeze... the audience can watch the original flicks super easy on demand to get up to speed. Back to Warner Bros. It seems that these scenes should have been handled in interviews. Not germaine to the holistic story of the Matrix world, the commentary was distracting. It seemed the movie was a 'call-in' for story telling, directing, and editing. The actors deserved better support.

The best about this is Jared Leto. Brilliant. Scary. Ronnie Malek delivers. Denzel has solid and less-than-productive scenes; his acting strategy is slightly off. Plot is good. Pacing uneven.

Fun! Wonderful to see everyone. The newbies add just the right vibe. Eddie... you know your funny. Laughs, and more laughs. Best movie release of the last two months.

Tom Hanks played himself: an intelligent, good man with an edge, giving heroic speeches. Only 2 characters had multi-dimensional dialogue: Hanks as James Donovan and Mark Rylance as Rudolph Abel. Sadly, CIA bad guy Scott Shepherd repeated the same line differently. Amy Ryan was given trope direction as suffering chirpy foot-stool Mary Donovan, wife of James. In one scene, Mary looks at her husband exhaustedly sleeping with the pride a mother looks at their child who won at T-ball. Wives don't look at husbands with the admiration of flying gods. Her choreography throughout the home was reminiscent of 1950s B&W B-movies or maybe June Cleaver preening over Ward. It's not a film about real people.

Super. Laugh out loud. Great inside jokes for adults and adorable characters for the kids. And, for the kid in me. Go!!!!!!!!!!!!

Carey Mulligan is perfection. I watched my mom die, and Carey's performance transported me back to that moment. I watched my parents fight, and Carey's performance freed the ghosts to battle again. Huge applause to Bradley Cooper. Fascinating directing, and right choices at the right pace at the right moments. Everyone's acting was exceptional. Matt Bomer shined - what a great role he owned with exquisite nuance. One of our best actors.

Exceptional orchestration of story, cinematography, musical score, sound, directing, and acting. The Cast - represents the origins of Africa, Europe, Asia, and the First American Nations. Poignant, soothing, warm, funny, and awe-inspiring Lovely locations for filming.
