This mini-series worked really well as a horror show for **** one side, the story is build around a simple yet intriguing idea comparable to classics like “Drag Me To Hell“, “The Ring“ or “Evil Dead“. The set, music and camera were amazing and manage to give a constant feeling of true dread and shocking moments. But meanwhile the story stays engaging as it is still able to pose some deeper questions:Why do we marry? And how are our pictures and perceptions of the answer to this question reconcilable with the ones of our significant other? My only let down to the series is that all the details in the early episodes sometimes suggest something deeper but these moments are already forgotten by the end as they were too many to be just more than the same metaphor.

It has been a long time for me since a series felt so captivating. I`m glad the second season could maintain the same atmosphere which made the first season so interesting but also answered many of the questions, the viewers had. Every detail in this series is precisely planned and although some scenes may seem ludicrous, even this response of the viewer is intended and will later be woven into the original plot. The OA doesn't, spoon-feed its audience, instead it encourages to think of your own theories and the viewer can be sure, this won`t lead into an dead end.
