This is by no means a terrible game, however, it is incredibly overrated. The shooting mechanics are pretty sub-par and the inability to aim down your site is a tad disappointing. The overall pace of the game is nice and fast pace, as a zombie survival game should be. The characters in my honest opinion are terrible, and completely unrelateable (except for Coach... i like coach). A very strong "fun but overhyped" feeling.

A nice concept but unfortunately this game is plagued with mediocre gameplay, a hideous UI, generally standard level design, and the typical "pay-to-win" feeling that comes with many free games. To make it worse this game is incredibly buggy and is absurdly dated. Nothing about this feels how a modern FPS should.

With the addition of many mods (I have 100+ installed at the moment), this game is easily a 10, however, the base game is flawed. With little variation in the combat style and relatively easy fights once one reaches about level 20, the overall combat aspect of the game can become a tad mundane, and feels more like a chore. That's not to say it's all bad, just that it could have been improved. Also, not taking away from the score, but the UI is no where near optimized for the PC, and is only made better by mods. Without mods, you'll enjoy this game for many hours, with mods, you'll enjoy this game for years.
