Even He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe, couldn't escape the extreme prejudice of creators of this movie. Masters of the Universe is yet another stark example of Hollywood's complete inability to understand a source of happiness and inspiration for young boys. Just like Barbie, this movie is not for people to enjoy, but for adults to bicker about.

I really don’t get why this movie needed four writers. Most of the plot and characters are very generic and any semblance of a high point is a scene unabashedly lifted from previous Alien movies. At best, this movie is just a very poor imitation of a much better cinema, but there really is no reason why Alien: Romulus should be watched by anyone.

The movie starts off with a strong sense of intrigue and mystery, but unlike the original with its rich atmosphere and pondering, ends up being empty, meandering journey to a pointless conclusion.

Pathos overload and too infantile to take seriously. The science and any semblance of intelligence is out, in is Ryan wearing a cute funny hat. Everything is played as a joke, desperately trying to downplay even the universe-wide apocalypse as one, big, ROFL.

This is a morally grey comedy cartoon that is so painfully run out the mill it ends up being borderline cringe and definitely overstays its welcome. Would be intellectuals will tell you how it's an examination of male-female power dynamic, yet this is the biggest hurdle of the movie - they are not remotely even. You have a woman who is the bestest at everything she does and a man who is an absolute idiot with a body to kill for. The movie pits them against each other and the result isn't an interesting drama, but some kind of a twisted torture porn where the man keeps failing due to his high stupidity, over and over and over. If you just want to watch a man suffer for two hours, you'll love this movie. For a person without issues, best to steer clear of this one.

This movie feels like a collection of barely related brain rot short clips in which nothing matters and the only thing on point is the generic corporate checklist, all too prevalent in the modern media.
