Worst fighting series ever. relies to much on clunky cheap juggle combos. Cheap gimmicky characters. Choppy sorry deformed animations, ugly flickering jaggy polygons with low res textures. clumsy 4 button system that creats the illusion of depth but a punch is a punch unless one is a power hand and a jab hand. Gimmicky goofy characters. Soul Caliber on Dreamcast was Namcos only good fighter. Tekken is and always was just hype. Sony paid for good reviews because they knew that if people found out that VF is superior in every way the saturn might gain some ground. Good thing Sony owned media companies like Viacom which owned media outlets and the defunct blockbuster. Do yourself a favor Play Virtua Fighter 2 and you will see that tekken 123 are trash hype nothing more than a studio pop singer.
Better than that pile of **** called tekken more like TurdKan. This is the real dealas where tekken is a clunky, quantity or quality pile of juggle trash. Virtua Fighter is the original and the best. It has realistic refined gameplay it doesn't rely on **** gimmicks like lazer beams, devils, and kangaroos. Thats why namco piles on the content to hide the pile of shht that that gameplay is. you have 3 buttons and endless depth with vf5 what do you get with tekken 4 buttons and characters that are clunky and rely on cheap juggle combos not to mention the choppy animations in all tekken games. VF has 2 similar characters tekken has doubles of every character and most play the same they all rely on the same combo system. In VF there are differences as Aikido relies on reversals, wrestlers rely on grappling, judo relies reversals and grapples, sumo strikes and throws, muay thai strikes etc. In tekken not to many characters represent their supposed martial art to well. Tekken is a strike launch juggle system that feels the same withevery character. If you enjoy tekken then you belong on a short yellow bus. VF is the best 3d fighter followed by DOA which is a rough copy of VF.
The story starts out good but I soon realized that your limited in what you can do in this game it soon just became a game of follow the pre made path. no freedom, clumsy shooting. The story is the only thing redeeming. I don't see what people see in this game must be fanboy goggles. There is no replay value.
Another entry into the highly overrated series. This one was the worst. towards the end the gameplay gets clumsy not to mention the story is trash. The recent tomb raider series puts these uncharted games to shame. There really isn't much freedom in these games your lead by the hand through everything. No replay value. Buy tomb Raider reboot instead now thts a real game
Highly overrated, very limited gameplay. People don't even realize how linear this game series is. There is no replay value. Your lead around on basically limited paths and there is 1 way through levels. only the gun fights give you some freedom but I just don't see a classic here. This game is more limited than the narrow hall ways of the old crash games. Naughty dog should go back to jak and daxter
The yakuza series is one of the most overlooked series and highly underrated. I feel critics seem to have it out for sega. I give this game a 10. It offers variety and introduces a lot of new game modes not seen in previous entries. You hunt, race and play as Haruka Kazuma's adopted daughter. It mixes old and the new very well so your never bored or feeling like your playing the same tired old game with a new story.
