Battlefield 43
Dec 3, 2013
If you are looking for something new in your familiar franchise; this isn't it, it is just a Battlefield 3 expansion pack that is full of bugs. EA Origin wouldn't even give me a refund for this game despite it obviously having big universal problems. Battlefield 4 is not worth the money it asks for; sure they put a ton of effort into it, but there is nothing that screams out and makes you feel that the money planted on this game was a good decision. It has lost its soul.

Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs5
Sep 10, 2013
Do yourselves a favour and just skip this game, from the few negative votes I've seen here, I must agree with them. If you are expecting a bigger badder sequel to the highly acclaimed Amnesia: The Dark Descent, this isn't it. The first half of the game was actually filled with tension, and thinking 'What is going to happen in here; I do not like this room'. But when you see what you're trying to hide from without fear of losing sanity by viewing the creature, it just becomes a game of 'Okay it goes this route, so I'll go another'. In all honesty, I think all that fear comes from expecting this game to be like the first, in which later on you'll find it doesn't even come close to. Last half of the game got me to a point of 'This isn't even scarey anymore and isn't even trying to be.' I died once not because I was scared and messed up, it was because I couldn't care less if the creature got to me before I had to flip a switch. I think this lost a lot of what made Amnesia scarey; insanity as a means to prevent you from just remotely observing a monster added a lot of what made the game scarey. Adding lots of places to hide in the first made it a very viable option to jump into a room and close yourself in a closet; waiting for the monster to go away as you whimper and hope it never saw you jump in there. Most encounters you have in this game has absolutely nothing but 'run the opposite direction' and they just poof out of existence. There is no lingering fear or dread of a monster still being around and you only delaying the inevitable. You will not get the Amnesia experience with this one unfortunately... It looks really pretty though.

Found no bugs so far. Likely because I got it on the 9th while the guinea pigs got it on the 6th. :> Real fun game to play with friends and the world is pretty huge.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution10

Excellent game, I most definitely replaying this game again just like I did with the original Deus Ex 11 years ago. By the way, anyone who says that they got the idea for conversations/choices from Mass Effect are simply silly, and do not realize their ignorance. :D This game just lives up to the first and even beats it in my book. It's everything I was wanting from a sequel.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings10

A beautiful living world with a fantastic non-linear story, can't ask anything more from an RPG. Combat took a bit of getting used to, as it's unforgiving to mistakes, but it makes it all the more rewarding and immersive as you need to plan before, and make the right decisions during combat. There's only one thing that can challenge Witcher 2, and that's Skyrim. But I'll love them both.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent10

As I was a Penumbra player who followed and pre-ordered the game months and months before it was out .I loved this game, and was worth all the waiting in the world for it to come out. The true and ONLY Survival Horror. MUST: Play at night, with headphones on, and lights off. You're doing **** disservice if you don't.

This game is NOT for people with short attention-spans or intolerance for progressive gameplay. This game starts off slow but interesting, you need to be attentive and observant to notice what you need to do next. Reading and conceiving a story is part of the game as well, it's more about being involved rather then getting some gold sparkly achievement. And when it starts getting creepy, you WILL know, Dead Space or Silent Hill can't creep/scare the crap out of you like this game when it begins sinking its teeth in. Haven't felt this creeped out since Amnesia: The Dark Decsent. I only mentioned Dead Space as a marker for certain people. Dead Space is pretty tame, the type of game that 'might' of scared me when I was 12 =p Oh and yeah, I love this game! If only I had this game sooner. MUST: Play the game at night, with headphones on, with the lights off.

Dragon Age II3
Mar 13, 2011
Vast amount of visual bugs which give horrible performance with a Geforce 580. Even when the game is running smoothly, I can't help but notice the obvious copy-pasting of dungeons/caves. The feeling that the quests are all going to the same places as other quests all the time. God knows what the popular game review sites are on, this is no where near on par with Dragon Age: Origins, let alone an improvement. I liked the combat more on this one, but everything else brings it down and nullifies it. Very mediocre and most likely rushed game; unexpected lackluster installment to the acclaimed Dragon Age: Origins.
