It is very rarely when you come across with a gem like this. Full of passion and a true work of art. The gameplay is sublime, the turn-based mechanics are very well thought out, although the learning curve can be punishingly difficult at points for the more casual players such as myself, but it never felt unfair. There is always the option to turn down the difficulty level, however I decided to stick to the normal difficulty level to the end and frankly I am very glad that I did. It made the struggle more real and in my opinion very much in line with the game's narrative. The music in this game is absolutely phenomenal and I will be visiting the soundtrack for many years to come. The music captures the plaintive mood of the game perfectly and is an integral part of the experience. Regarding the story, there are games that you remember long after you have finished playing them. This is definitely one of those games.

4 player multiplayer is severely lacking. You can only play through the campaign with 4 players, other multiplayer battle modes are limited to 2 player couch co-op. There is no valid reason for this solution, they could've easily included an offline multiplayer for 4 players.

Lazy cash cow IP milking from Square. The writing is embarrasingly bad, and beyond redemption. Gameplay is manageable, but you are forced to grind mindnumbingly similar missions over and over again in order to proceed, making the gameplay more a chore than delight.

An unenjoyable embarrassment. Dull, eventless waste of time to watch slowly the computer decide whether you win or lose, your actions are of little consequence to the end result.

****. Utter ****. Kept hoping it might get better, but was disappointed. The "plot" has no surprises, the grind stays the same throughout the game and it seems the game somehow managed to make the controls feel worse and less intuitive than in the first Diablo, which is an achievement on its own.

Utterly boring. This game has no soul. Playing feels like a chore. I liked the previous Diablos, but this one I probably will not play through. What a shame.

Poor controls, random goals without any logic, seems unfinished and rushed. Overall a much worse game than Strikers Charged. I bought this game because the predecessor was great, this is just poor quality gaming that I have not used seeing from Nintendo.

Ultimately, a waste of time. Incoherent. boring. wall-of-text red herring ramblings with minimal playability or plot. Suffered through it only to find out nothing got solved in the end. Avoid if you like games.
