This game had so much potential. It had a brilliant gameplay mechanic and a really nice art style. However it is let down because of the glitchy mess that it is. Many of the puzzles in this game don't even work as intended because the physics in this game are so glitchy! There's also some kinda bad level design in some places and I feel like the shadow gameplay and controls kinda feel stiff and awkward. Although this game has a beautiful art style I feel like this game is having an identity crisis. Does it want to be an old French movie or an old american noire style movie? I'm not too sure and I think these styles merge in a strange way and it's kinda corny. Also this game isn't really graphically impressive either, which isn't a bad thing, but kinda ****. Also I won't spoil the story but you'll defiantly be disappointed with the ending and for a game that costs £12 in the UK you won't be spending your money's worth, luckily I had PS+, as the you could probably beat this game in 40 minutes.
Graphics: This really depends on the album you're playing. I'd say that Cities has the best art style. But overall I'd say that the graphics are simplistic and easy on the eye whilst being impressive. 10/10 Sound: Most of the enemies and obstacles make some kind of music or noise which is a really nice touch. Plus all of the music sounds really good. But when it comes to the custom maps online the music can get pretty annoying and repetitive. 8/10 (Oh the Irony!) Gameplay: If you're looking for challenge then you came to the right place! The story mode may not be very hard but the Death Mode challenges will have you pulling out your hair! I will give it a 9/10 because I don't like the "Stick to walls" kinda gameplay. Re-playability: I'm going to be honest after getting the platinum there isn't much to do. There aren't many good custom maps online and the level editor is pretty poor and needs more detail. 3/10 Trophies: I'd say it's worth getting the platinum all the trophies are fair and work properly. Price: Seeing as it has hardly any replayability I'd say it is over priced and should be priced at £5-£8 not £10. Overall I'd say it's a good game but it shouldn't have got the hype that it got. 7/10
I'm giving it a 9 because I think the controls in the katamari games are awkward. But it's still a great game!! Is there anything more fun then rolling up the sun with a huge sticky ball?!
A very underrated game. Can be kinda gimmicky and the voice acting is terrible. But the game is very fun to play. I'd say it's worth checking out if you like adventure games.
Really disappointed with this game. The only plus side to this game is the graphics (Which are really good) and the story. But the gameplay is boring and repetitive, the boss fights are QUICK TIME EVENTS ARGHGH!! What is this!?!? Heavy Rain!?!?!??!?!?????? And the puzzles are super easy!!! I honestly think the game should've been a movie. I don't think it's worth your money. Go buy Gravity Rush. (I wish I had)
First of all the graphics are horrible! Very pixilated and rushed. And also the game is frustratingly hard! Sometimes some fights feel like they are impossible!!! But it has a very solid online mode that works great. And overall it's a great game the story is long and really deep. Well worth your money and your time if you like fighting games.
It's an improvement over Jak II but you can't break the messed up story line that Naughty Dog made up from the top of their stupid heads. Although I would say that the art style has been improved and the racing parts have been improved it's still in the same world as Jak II and it ****.
Best game ever! This is my favorite game! The art style is amazing! The graphics are insanely detailed. But the character models do seem to be very simple although this could be because the game is so huge. The gameplay has a lot of variety. A good number of moves and power-ups. Plus the game has 0 loading screens, which really impressed me when I was a kid. The music changes very slightly depending on where you are in the level. Overall it's a great game! You can get it for about £2 nowadays. SO BUY IT!
