The Walking Dead: Episode 1 - A New Day6

I guess I am biased while talking about this because I freaking LOVE the comics. The show is good too, (but nothing near is awesome as the comics) , The game was good fun, though I feel it was kind of annoying to play. The click and point mechanic gets tiresome very quickly and kind of takes me out of the moment. If you go back and click on the same spot more than once, he just says the same thing over and over and you can't stop the dialog once it starts. Definitely would have preferred a more open world, but I realize the developer wants a very scripted event to happen, which is fine I guess, just not what I would necessarily want with a video game. The biggest problem for me with this game, was it was extremely laggy. I don't see anyone else commenting about the lag so maybe it was just me, but with a game like this I would think it would be more optimized, it not like it is a game that will crush my system. get rid of the lag, and I would give this game a higher score, probably a 7.

RO2 is a great game. I have played a lot of FPSs and tend to go for the more realistic ones usually. Add to that my fascination with WW2 and the Eastern front in particular, I think Tripwire does a great job capturing capturing the feeling of the Eastern front. Gameplay wise, I have tons of fun with this game. I don't know what most of these reviewers are doing, but I don't really encounter many bugs. The only real fault of this game is the lack of a community and the fact that most servers are just filled with bots. The best thing you can do for that is to go on the Tripwire forums and find clan/community servers and cherry pick when/where to play. Europe seems to have a better community of players than the US for sure. Someone on here went on and on about the caned voices but honestly it isn't that bad, I like it actually, though I will admit there could be more options for that. The graphics are good not great, but they do the job effectively. For a small company, I feel they did a good job, I think it looks good. I give this title 8.0. I'd give it higher if there community was stronger. Still worth picking up if you value tactics over twitch gameplay. I can play this title for hours, and have a blast.

Till this day this is one of the best multiplayer shooters out there, no question. The huge sprawling battlefields and really exciting game play makes this a fun experience. Strategy is key to this game, not a run n gun like COD etc. What I love most is that many of the servers have battles that have an almost unlimited time limit so you can technically play this game for hours on end with the battle still raging when you finally log off, unless of course one team captures all the checkpoints. I remember playing one battle that raged for 15 hours once, HA. The graphics are dated, but what do you expect from a game 10 years old? WELL worth buying, even today, the expansions are fun too, and their are TONS of mods for this. Also, check out the taunts.... they are hilarious. HOOO RAAAAA!!!!
