Good space combat turn based game, I like the BGS universe, so this does inflate my review score and my liking to the game. If you're a fan of space combat / turn based games / enjoy the BSG universe / or just want a filler for a few hours of gaming then I would recommend. If you dont like the above I would pass on it.
Micorsoft need to start an audit investigation a.s.a.p Six years of development and a 200 million budget and the game is utter garbage. Terrible graphics, boring main story, terrible side quests with no substance. NPCs / dialogue are dull, Oblivion had better NPC mechanics a game over 12 years old. Constant loading screens. Repetitive bases and planets. NPC Ai is stupid as well. Whats the point of making a Space RPG and the game doesnt let you explore space, planets, moons, etc... Another Todd Howard lying masterclass. People who are giving this game a 10 or GOTY are clueless or to young to have played fallout 3/ New Vegas/ Oblivion / Skyrim. Thankfully Steam accpeted my refund request. I will try the game again in a few years if im still interested and I can get a good sale price. Hopefully the game will have been updated / patched and the modding community should have a few hundred mods to help with the above. I would not recoomend the game and espically at the current price.
Picked the game up through a steam sale recently. Could not beIive I missed this game when initally released. Gamplay get reptitive towards the end of the game, however the story pays off big time. Its phemonial game and I 100% recommend it.
