Pokemon Conquest10

This game is quite possibly the most addictive thing I've ever layed my hands on. Although it's a Pokemon game and the battle system plays quite like Advance Wars, I would say the game plays more like Civilization. Where a single game can last quite a long time if you sit back and level up or it can be much shorter if you try and rush your opponents early. I agree with the people that say the other campaigns don't have any real story but neither does a game of Civilization or most other turn based strategy titles. The gameplay itself is good enough to keep you playing and the fact that you can try using different warriors or warlords and the pokemon you've caught with each person carry over to later games make it all feel like progression towards and end goal of evolving all warlords and collecting all the pokemon, of which there are about 200. I would seriously recommend this to anyone who's been considering getting it. I've been playing it for about 125 hours and still have loads to do!!

If you are a fan of the old school scrolling beat-em-ups that seem to have had a bit of a resurgence on XBLA and PSN in the last few years, then this game is definitely for you! Considering it's a game that was made for the Sega Saturn quite a few years ago it has lots of features modern iterations of the genre have only now started to use. Your characters can be levelled up in different ways depending on your play style and it has a branching story that gives the game massive replay value. Sure it's easy to sit and finish the game in a single playthrough but when there are so many unlockables and different characters to play with you should really be comparing the games length to a beat-em-up (street fighter, Tekken). Each character has a decent move set way above par for the genre standard, plus an additional versus mode and arcade mode (Which is like a survival mode with tonnes of enemies on screen) add a decent bang for your back. All in all well worth the money.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings7

The Witcher 2 has a very solid mature story that is definitely it's main pull. I'm not sure how many technical problems there are on the PC version but the 360 version has more than it's fair share. With a few quests needing to be re-loaded to finish off and others with inaccurate tracker text. It can also be a bit confusing at times to know exactly where to go and which quests you should be tackling, but all in all it's still a very enjoyable game, mainly due to the very involving story and characters and some genuinely difficult decisions.
