Cool game, a LEGENDARY protagonist (my favorite from the franchise), the global humor is on point as always. The characters are all interesting and great, however the story lacks substance, especially the very average ending. I often say that, but I find that the missions are all the same, you enter somewhere and you shoot everyone, or you have to kill someone after chasing him. I get that it's GTA and not The Sims, but neither it's Call Of Duty. The cities are large enough to still discover new places after finishing the game so that's cool. Some bugs in the PC version, especially after unlocking the FPS cap, but nothing that deep.

Great game overall, with excellent (almost perfect if not for the lagginess of item consumption) combat gameplay. Boss fights are incredible, and the story is good. However, the game naturally has flaws, such as the boring fodder enemy fights; there are far, far too many useless fights to artificially extend the game's lifespan. The missions are very repetitive. Also, Capcom did what they always do: a very unpleasant reuse of bosses (especially the Byakue and Dohatsu-Ten). That's why, for example, Devil May Cry 4 is my least favorite in it's franchise. My take is that the game could have been better if its lifespan were reduced by 40% with far less boss recycling, it would have been perfect. I think the graphics are also a little outdated but the stunning environments make up for it. Finally, I think the game takes you a little too much by the hand it becomes almost frustrating .

Very good game overall: excellent story and storytelling, loveable characters, great main and side quests, and beautiful world-building (though still a bit empty in some parts). The main flaws I would attribute to the game is that the controls feel clunky, even more so than Dark Souls 1 in my opinion, which reminded me of Kingdom Come. On top of that, I only discovered fast travel after beating (so if it was clearly explained that you can unlock the fast travel by upgrading the camp ignore this point) the game, so having to ride my horse for hours became tedious at times, the stagecoach and train rarely drop you close to your destination, and even reaching a station is a journey of its own. The landscapes are stunning for the first half, but eventually you just want to get to your quest. Finally, the pace : the prologue and the first chapter make it hard to get into, but past that hurdle, it's a masterpiece you'll definitely enjoy, especially the acclaimed ending. And do play the epilogue, obviously. Also, some bugs in the PC version (I think I got my audio crackling for a third of the game, and I experienced some crashes even with a powerful setup) but that don't really is relevant for the game review (or is it ?).

Stunning as always. Fromsoftware has proven they can master a gothic/victorian era world as greatly as their usual medieval fantasy ones.

This shoudln't even exist. Or at least gifted to the owners of the original game. But I do not recommend buying this game, even on sale. It's basically just the original game (not even more beautiful tbh) but with performance issues.

This game was probably wonderful back then, I understand people saying that it's a revolution for the open world. However, I just think that the game didn't age well. I mean it's alright but far from what people told me. The world is huge but empty, and most of the characters are forgettable.

First of all, there is the elephant in the room : the poor graphics and mid performances, outdated by many years. Now, for the game itself, the gameplay is fun, the characters are great, the city is fine (even though I think that a diameter of 1 km is not that much. However, there is this unpleasant feeling of being challenged for any reason : you want this information ? fight me. You want to go through ? fight me. You ALWAYS fight. All of this left a feeling of artificially extending the lifespan of the game. Almost as if the devs didnt want to waste the animations of the characters after one fight. Besides, the main quest is far too redundant. Mega Raid Battle -> Battle zone -> Rankup match. Again and again.

The story, characters, dialogues and cutscenes are masterpieces 10/10, but the gameplay is just so slow and boring, the fighting, alchemy, and every little action. Only the horse riding is okay gameplay wise.

The best game in history for me, quite simply, yet my favorite license is Pokémon. Very complete game, lots of things to discover, the story mode is exciting and has an excellent lifespan. It has aged extremely well, there are a few bugs, but the countless qualities of this game make us easily forget them.
