This game should only be played for the easy 750 and Pain in the ass 1000. You can get NHL 10 for the same price, or slightly more expensive. Everything about is dated the game also freezes a lot, that it would probably be **** to play when the game was released.

Ok if your picking this up in 2012 or beyond its probably only for Gamerscore. If not your crazy or a super hardcore King Kong fan. In fact I wouldn't even recommend it to the latter. Theirs nothing really to explain, other than the game hasn't aged well. I'm not just talking about graphics, the gameplay is just clunky and will frustrate the hell out of you as you plow the campaign for the easy 1000GS. The reason i give it a four, is because I don't want it to effect the user average score too much, as the game looked like it would be quite good fun 7 years ago. Personally I think it would suit a 2/10 as I found the King Kong sequences a little enjoyable. Emphasis on little.

The pre-release of the arcade classic, which was showing its age in 1991 is BACK! Of course the graphics and gameplay are awful, but you should already know that, so it shouldn't have anything to do with the overall score. Should it? Actually it does, as your paying 800 MSP for a arcade game. 400 MSP would be a more justified price as it is not that much bigger or more complex , then the games 'Gameroom' provides. I would recommend playing the trial, as you will probably get all the nostalgia you'll need. Trust me after about 4 playthroughs you will never touch this again. Achievements 7/10 a fairly easy 200 points and makes you do a variety of objectives. Could be done in 2-5 hours, depending on skill. The reason why this game gets a 5/10, is because it is really good fun/nostalgia for the first 30 minutes- 1 hour. But after that you will, no doubt get bored. And is it worth £6.50 in MSP for that? Seriously just play the trial. It would be looking at a much higher review if it did what HALO CE did. Classic mode and remastered.

This game is a lot of fun, but I still wouldn't recommend it for 1200 points. While I write this it's on offer for 600, if that was it's permanent price I'd give it a 9/10. The game has solid game play and and quite a bit of replay value. But the majority of people will only get around 10-15 hours until they get too bored to play any longer. Achievements 8/10 Challenging achievements but do able, the online ones can be done with a different profile. So yeah I'd only get it at 1200 if you loved games like trials. Otherwise I would recommend waiting, until download of the week.
