No Time to Die2

****! Lazy and by the numbers with not much action and boring exposition scenes. It was trying hard to ape the Mission Impossible series but fell very short. The only good movies of the Daniel Craig experiment are Casino Royale and Skyfall and are the only ones worth seeing again.

Return to Oz0
Mar 15, 2021
Awful sequel to The Wizard Of Oz that was purely an exercise in making money. It is one of the most disappointing sequels to an amazing movie that didn’t even try to wow you. It’s among other crap sequels like Terminator 3, Big Top Pee Wee and Tomorrow Never Dies in the club of worst sequels to amazing movies.

Never Say Never Again1

Piss poor Thunderball remake starring Sean Connery Who somehow looks older than Roger Moore despite being 3 years younger. Just watch Thunderball. The better of the 2.

Batman Forever1
Jan 3, 2021
Val Kilmer= one of the worst Batman actors. Boring and doesn’t emote. Gets shot and still acts like a robot. Robin played by Chris O’Donnel ****. Tommy Lee Jones was seriously miscast as Two-Face. He was just doing a Joker impression in stupid looking rubber prosthetics on his left side. Only worth watching for Jim Carrey’s electric Riddler. He instantly boosted every scene he was in. Oh and who’s idea was it to do an overly neon and 90s rave style Gotham?! It didn’t work! Tim Burton, you were sorely needed for this and Batman And Robin!

Big Hero 610
Oct 15, 2020
Fantastic and inventive superhero movie featuring a boy and his inflatable buddy. Really an enjoyable movie and much better than Frozen. This one exudes warmth and attention to detail while Frozen is vapid and cold. No pun intended.

Frozen2
Oct 15, 2020
One of the most overrated Disney movies ever! It’s basically a bunch of musical numbers with a underdeveloped plot to string them together. Big Hero 6 came out around the time this came out and it blows the piss out of this. I’d recommend watching that one and putting this one on ice.

Napoleon Dynamite0
Oct 15, 2020
I never liked this movie. I found it to be one of the most boring, unfocused and cringe inducing movies from the early 2000s. I don’t even know what it’s about frankly. I believe it’s the misadventures of a stereotypical nerd with an annoying voice and how he makes friends and fits in at school. Yawn. I’d pass on this one.

The November Man2
Oct 14, 2020
Found this one to be boring and cliched. Brosnan again is let down by a bad script and weak direction. This movie is trying to be a cross between a Bourne movie and a Daniel Craig Bond movie with the angle of an agent coming out of retirement. However, it doesn’t have anything that makes the Bourne and Craig Bond movies work and is just a generic action movie with a convoluted and messy storyline.

A Very Brady Sequel0
Oct 10, 2020
If you thought the 1995 movie **** and was cringeworthy, you best pass on this cash grab. Anything after this series ended was made just for money, not because anyone cared how they would turn out or if they improved the show’s legacy. You’re better off watching better movies by people who care about the fans and the shows they make.

The Brady Bunch Movie0
Oct 10, 2020
The producers of this show got together and said”Let’s drag out the legacy of this mediocre show and make another lame movie to make money!” Nothing about this movie proves to be memorable and it’s extremely cringeworthy. Pass at all costs!

Charlie's Angels0
Aug 19, 2020
A reboot no one wanted. Just an uninspired spy movie akin to the Daniel Craig James Bond movies and a bit of the Bourne movies only no where near as good. The acting is terribly stilted to make women look unrealistically better than men. This mean spirited attack on men/ **** wet dream deserved to fail and deserves even more to be forgotten.

Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle2
Aug 19, 2020
Bad. Revolves around a Macguffin that shouldn’t even exist because it can easily be stolen to see the identities of Witness Protection members which oddly enough are shown to be less than 10. This one is the one from 2000 only amped up and dumber. Still both are better thsn that travesty from 2019.
Aug 19, 2020
Charlie's Angels4
Aug 19, 2020
Where are the guns? They used guns in the original show. This is Drew Barrymore and her anti gun stance at work. I always felt it was daft that they would show up to areas with guards likely to be armed but not have weapons. This is mostly a pantene commercial with hit or miss comedy and mostly weak acting.
Aug 19, 2020
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory3
Aug 19, 2020
Mostly weak remake. Focuses more on Wonka than Charlie and Depp doesn’t do the character justice. Unlike the original, there’s nothing that memorable here. Everything is unnecessarily dark looking and it has this kind of cold feel to it versus the warmth and radiance of the original which suited the movie much better. Pass on this one.

Terminator: Dark Fate2

Terminator Salvation1
Aug 19, 2020
An absolute slog with muddy looking visuals, bland characters,a forgettable score, run of the mill action sequences and a weak plot. While it does bring some fresh ideas to the series, they’re outweighed by everything else this one got wrong. Pass on this one.
Aug 19, 2020
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines6

Casino Royale0
Aug 19, 2020
Absolute garbage and a disgrace to the series’ name. Luckily it’s non canon. Nothing here is that funny and the plot is extremely convoluted. Skip this one and watch the real one from 2006.

Pee-wee's Big Adventure10
Aug 19, 2020
A fantastic movie that wastes no time with the laughs and getting into the plot. Within 15 minutes you’re into the plot proper and ready to go on a spectacular journey with Pee Wee to find his beloved bicycle. With superb and stylish direction by Tim Burton and an excellent soundtrack by Danny Elfman to complement things further you’re in for a great time!
Aug 19, 2020
Big Top Pee-wee0
Aug 19, 2020
Absolutely terrible and no where near the quality and humor of Pee Wee’s Big Adventure. Within 10 minutes you’ve gotten into Big Adventure, gone through Pee Wee’s hilarious daily routine and then you’re already about into the plot. In Big Top 10 minutes doesn’t even get you to the horrible date scene where Pee Wee eats horrible egg salad from one of the most wooden actresses. It takes 20 minutes to get to the horrid scene where Pee Wee has to go get a cheese sandwich served up by a crusty old man who makes Ebeneezer Scrooge seem like a sweetheart, served with a scowl and not even cooked. A couple of old crones couldn’t be kind enough to allow the poor guy to go ahead of them being they weren’t even ready to buy the fabric they were looking at. Then about 25 or 30 minutes in the tornado that gets the ludicrous circus themed plot going farts on in to this **** show. I quit watching about 30 minutes in because it was painfully boring and unfunny. Skip this embarrassment in Pee Wee’s otherwise funny line up.

Diamonds Are Forever2
Aug 19, 2020
A miserable trainwreck of a Bond movie. Right down there with Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day, Spectre And Licence To Kill. There isn’t much to like with this movie. The only thing it has going for it is it’s theme song. Everything else is really poor. Watch any of Sean Connery’s earlier Bond movies. This one is best off forgetten.

You Only Live Twice10
Aug 19, 2020
A fun movie in the series. Sure it’s turning Japanese plot point has aged terribly but it’s only for about 15-20 of the movie. The rest is really fun and a major improvement over the dull Thunderball.
Aug 19, 2020
Goldfinger10
Aug 19, 2020
A fabulous Bond movie! The pacing was great, the action was good, the soundtrack great, the locations were good. The villains were also great and the plan was actually really great and withstands even heavy scrutiny unlike most. A must see, fan of the series or not
Aug 19, 2020
Thunderball7
Aug 19, 2020
If you fast forward the underwater segments it’s actually not bad. It has what you’d want in a Bond movie:beautiful women, stunning locations, great music, Sean Connery in his prime and cool gadgets. Emilio Largo is not a good villain. He lacks any menace and looks like a stout upper executive than a proper villain as played by Adolfo Celli. Otherwise a solid entry.
Aug 19, 2020
The Spy Who Loved Me10
Aug 19, 2020
A fantastic addition to the series! A serious improvement over the abysmal The Man With The Golden Gun. Great action scenes, a memorable henchman, a larger than life villain, great locations, a time period soundtrack that generally works, Roger Moore finslly found his stride in the role. There’s something for everyone here.

For Your Eyes Only7
Aug 19, 2020
It was cool seeing Roger Moore play a harder edged Bond and the emphasis on real spy tactics as opposed to gadgets and gimmicks. The typical Roger Moore humor is still here but significantly toned down. The action scenes are amazing and the climax is tense. Worth the watcg.

Octopussy7
Aug 19, 2020
This one gets a bad rap when it’s actually a fun outing in the series. It may be anachronistic and slow at times but it encapsulates what’s awesome about the series minus certain things like the infamous Tarzan yell, Roger Moore in his true form a melancholy clown,, and the terrible tennis bit that wasn’t funny like they thought. Hahah! He’s a famous tennis player! Not. Maud Adams returns in a much better role as **** There’s plenty to like about this one that generally doesn’t take itself too seriously.

The Living Daylights5
Aug 19, 2020
Meh. Some entertaining parts but passable. Timothy Dalton **** as James Bond. So ugly and looks like a lizard. Bleh! Ian Fleming would’ve been appalled to know that anyone associates this twit with Fleming’s version. Dalton is a disgrace to the series.

The World Is Not Enough2
Aug 19, 2020
Pierce Brosnan’s worst 007 movie. Not even the action scenes can save this one. If you are in need of sleep, this can definitely help you out, as it’s incredibly dry and dull. Pierce was just running through the motions here and seems to be as bored as you most likely would be watching this movie for most of it’s laborious 2 hours and 8 minutes that feel like 3 and a half hours. Do yourself a favor and skip this movie unless you’re wanting to watch every 007 movie at least once.

GoldenEye4
Aug 19, 2020
A movie more suited to Timothy Dalton isn’t nearly as good of a fit for Pierce Brosnan. He looked pretty uncomfortable and unsure of himself, not what I expect for James Bond. Timothy Dalton displayed more confidence and charm in The Living Daylights ( less so in Licence To Kill but that had more to do with the rubbish script and direction than his abilities). A shame that after the promise the Dalton era showed for the series with it’s more gritty and down to earth approach that the series headed right back to the worst aspects of the Roger Moore and Sean Connery era immediately after this movie. I blame a good chunk of that on Brosnan as he didn’t have any real vision for the character. He’s full of fluff when he talks about this so called vision he had of making the character more like he was in the novels. The World Is Not Enough and moments here and there were the closest he ever got. Most of the time he was just a pale imitation of Roger Moore and Sean Connery. His initial goal was to blend the 2 actors and their take on the character with somewhat of the more gritty Dalton take but it never quite got there.

Tomorrow Never Dies3
Aug 19, 2020
Piss poor follow up to Goldeneye that aged terribly. The first of 3 bad sequels where they made Pierce Brosnan into an Irish Steven Seagal who was also imitating Roger Moore, something that didn’t suit the series or him. Unless you’re doing a marathon or are a solid fan and want to see all the 007 movies, this one is one to skip. Goldeneye is the only one he did worth seeing. He tried, but Pierce Brosnan couldn’t rise above the increasingly awful scripts and direction the series took before they wisely rebooted with Daniel Craig who’s been the best and most convincing 007 since Sean Connery despite what some fans claim.
Aug 19, 2020
SPECTRE4
Aug 19, 2020
This is a huge step backward for the Craig era. It’s still gritty and hard edged like his other efforts but is marred by tossing in the cheeseball stuff from the old series like pointless monologues, unrealistic stunts and your typical train scene a la The Spy Who Loved Me and From Russia With Love only somehow more dull and pointless. This stuff doesn’t mesh well with what was once a gritty and more hard edged reboot with less focus on fantasy and more on realism. They even toss in Blofeld with a plot twist visible from a mile away with an even dumber one straight out of Austin Powers. Don’t know how they’re going to fix this mess with No Time To Die but based on it’s trailers it already looks much better than this slog. I’d suggest only watching this to be on board with No Time To Die. Otherwise you’re better off watching the other Daniel Craig Bond movies or the ones from the old Bond series.
Aug 19, 2020
Quantum of Solace6
Aug 19, 2020
A step down from the ground breaking Casino Royale but still a good watch nonetheless. It further expands the reintroduction to Daniel Craig’s much more on point portrayal of James Bond and is a decent continuation of Casino Royale. There are some visually interesting scenes like the opera scene where Bond spies on a Quantum meeting and the Sienna rooftop chase scene.
Aug 19, 2020
Skyfall7
Aug 19, 2020
Looks and sounds great, with really fun action sequences and interesting characters. However the writing is hit or miss, especially in regard to the villains scheme as it makes no sense. Daniel Craig hits his stride.
Aug 19, 2020
Casino Royale10
Aug 19, 2020
A fantastic movie! Hard to believe it was preceded by that vile Die Another Day. Everything is on point, from the action, to the magnificent direction by Martin Campbell, to the much improved score by David Arnold, to the acting, the dialogue is great and Daniel Craig is a much more believable Bond compared to Pierce Brosnan. If you haven’t seen it yet then i strongly suggest seeing it today.
Aug 19, 2020
Die Another Day0
Aug 19, 2020
If you’re doing a Bond marathon, skip this one. It’s an absolute low point in the series. It’s pretty much a studio job with bad CGI and lame special effects compounded with pedestrian directing that is worse than the work of the most amateur YouTuber. The series definitely exhausted itself at this point and the only good thing this crap spawned was the superb Daniel Craig reboot. Just go on to Casino Royale. Everything about it is much better, from the action scenes, to the dialogue, to the acting, even Daniel Craig himself is much better at playing Bond the character rather than Bond the cardboard cutout who spouts low brow one liners.

Survive the Night0
Jun 23, 2020
Terrible! Boring, uneventful and the action is crap. Bruce Willis is past his prime and his only current marketable talent is creating hype for garbage movies. Don’t bother with this drab drek of a suspense movie comprised of characters making stupid decisions, a plot that should have been no more than 45 minutes being dragged to almost an hour and a half, unlikable characters, terrible direction, over acting, all the worn out horror movie cliches like jump scares and if course characters other than the villain acting stupid.
