Should never have been released in it's current state, "early access" or not. This game has a HUGE amount of broken mechanics that will see you spend many hours working toward a goal (and enjoy doing so for the most part) only to have all your progress taken away from you with zero explanation - This is not acceptable and paying customers should not be expected to tolerate this. No public or private alpha or beta to work through these problems before release (a paid release) results in this happening. Vanishing rafts, vanishing characters, getting stuck on mobs in combat and unable to defend yourself, craftables that just don't appear, broken ships (in a sailing **** list goes on and on. Absolutely avoid this game right now - IF the developers fix it properly then I'll likely revisit but please, ask yourself a simple question - If a company is willing to release a product so UTTERLY broken like this in the first place and actually taken money for it, are they REALLY worth your trust at all? Can you put any faith in them to do right by you down the line? I highly doubt it.
