Noita8

I love Noita. I hate Noita. I love Noita. I hate Noita. I love Noita. Noita hates me. The depths of this game go well beyond my comprehension. What starts as some basic wand crafting to make things go big boom turns into a dissertation of underlying mechanisms only meant for those with the most resolve. That being said, go play it.

A great experience from the first sector to the last. The map feels so interconnected which could be a pro or con to many as you really only need one main base. For me, this was a big plus as we had one continuous base of operations. There is a plethora of recipes to craft, cook, and salvage which keeps the pacing strong and the sense of discovery pervasive. My biggest gripe was a singular mid game sector that made discovery slower than we would have liked but not enough to really diminish the overall experience. Highly recommend with a coop group. Can’t talk about single player experience.

Dispatch9

Dispatch is a best in class title. The voice acting, animations, and narrative are top notch. It’s not a long game by any means but the depth of story telling and the ability to choose missions for your heroes buys you into Dispatch’s world Highly recommend.

Excellent in design. Underwhelming in gameplay execution. If you’re looking for ultrakill/doom eternal level of engaging gameplay, look elsewhere. This plays much slower but is still an enjoyable experience albeit not one I have any reason to revisit

I can see how this game can be alluring for some. For others it's no surprise this game can be a complete turn off. Punishingly difficult and certain classes felt more or less useless relative to others. We ended up burning out before getting hooked into the deeper mechanics.

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders8

I ended up 100%-ing this one. There's plenty of room for exploration and discovering newer and faster routes which aren't always the safest routes. Finding that balance between speed and safety when trying to going for gold on non-checkpoint runs is where LM:SR shined for me The "tricks" challenges feels more a gimmick add-on. Doing these trick runs are optional so I wouldn't diminish the overall score based on this mode alone as most players will spend less time on them. The trick mode itself is a 4/10. I applaud the studios attempt to trying something new compared to their previous title nonetheless.

Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate6

A roguelike that entertains for a few hours but can quickly lose its appeal. Once you've played 20 rounds, it feels like you experienced most of what the game has to offers. Don't get me wrong, there will be minor fun mechanics you'll discover that will change the way you play but nothing engaging enough to make this game memorable.

A well executed parkour game that delivers fluid movement that makes you want to come back around to beat all your previous times. For the price point, I'd recommend picking it up and giving it a go.

Sudoku Mansion6
Sep 21, 2026
I had never purchased a sudoku game prior to this. It was really fun and rewarding at first especially when the first unique rule sets came into play. For the first 5 hours I was really enjoying the exploration aspects that Sudoku Mansion provided. The UX around grid modification is well done and made solving these puzzles much easier. The game does feel to drag out over time though and can really test your love of Sudoku for those who are Sudoku curious. The unique rules UI should be revisited. You have to dig through menus to find the examples when it'd be much nicer to surface those example modals on lefthand side bar via click.

A short but strong experience from a game that is oozing a creative and unique Fleb style.

This was a real gem to find. I never did beat the entire game, but I got what I wanted out of my time with it. Think of this as Chants of Sennaar's nerdy cousin. The soundtrack and ambience are great and the sense of discovery is rewarding albeit drawn out. Hoping to come back later when I have more time and beat the rest of the game.

IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator9

A deeply satisfying game where you play as a solo operator of a large twin cannon artillery piece. Every click, slide, and handle pull carried weight that fired the right neurons in my ape brain. The campaign was the right length with the right amount of challenge. There’s a really good foundation here that can be expanded with a custom mission editor. Lastly do yourself a favor and put on the ost while working.
