Replayed PC-version 2025 in anticipation of KDC II.
One of the rare examples of a believable, fully immersive story, crafted with love and attention to historic and other detail, eliciting a caleidoscope of feelings from humor, excitement, fear, to grief and everything in between. Very long-term joy of playing. Addictive from both main and side quest lines, plus fantastic DLCs as a second helping.
Loved the game when I first played it, still love it the second time. Definitely keen on playing KCD 2.
Bought PC version and played end of 2025 / beginning of 2026. Not for people who look for a very difficult game to play, but Heaven for those who have been longing for a game with true StarWars feel, characters with ... well ...Character, awesome people graphics, great, emotionally gripping main storyline, overall great conversations. The Star Wars environments are simply awesome, immersive and visually fantastic, whether well known locations as Mos Eisley or places we never got to see in movies.
Makes it easy to look past the fact that at some point NPC dialogues and side-missions become repetitive. Definitely one of my favorite games in the StarWars Games Universe! P.S.: yes it does seem that the recent reviews have a very clear positive trend, so roll-out bugs may have bogged down reception.
I only came across a single bug on PC where I got stuck in a door-opening slice of a door that I had opened previously. The door auto-opened the moment I put the slice in again and I had to load an earlier save to continue.
