This game is clearly a developer entry title. Got potential but very clunky and needs polishing in a lot of areas, including movement, hitbox, and shooting. The game is unnecessarily difficult for the wrong reasons and could've really used used to for instructions on controls. Additionally has some less than tasteful jokes that seemed out of place the game it's trying to portray. Overall, I really would not recommend wasting time on this.

As another user mentioned, if you like the story you're going to like the game. I personally did not feel any connection with the story and all it left me was more questions than answers at the end. I think in terms of game play, there really isn't much to praise about. The only good game play was from the mini games on the computer which I wanted to finish but was not given the option to once the game ends. I don't really think there is much replayability. I do however have good praises for the characters and the aura that the developer set to establish as I think the characters were pretty unique with their neat set of dialogs, though some might find cringe nowadays. I also think that the atmosphere for certain parts of the game was on point and really drove home what they were trying to preach essentially. Overall, I think if you're into slow, narrative type of games, I think you should give this one a try.

This gain was on my way shoelace when I was for his building my PC. I spend a lot of money and time making sure my PC was up to par so that I could play this in all its glory. Fast-forward 3 years post launch, I finally got my hands on it. The combat mechanics is, overall, thoroughly thought out. It's a system that is easy to pick up but difficult to master. This can make it quite challenging when you're facing real players in other modes like dominion or one-on-one. The story doesn't really have much to offer and is, in my opinion, not the selling point of this game. As for have support, content has been added over the years in terms of skin, characters, and expansions. The majority of them are cost based however. Still, the game can be quite fun when the situation is right. I think this is still viable option for enjoyment in 2023 as well. The having tried it yet, give it a chance. However, don't expect to dominate in multi-player anytime soon. Good luck and may your steel be bloody!!

This game is very good at emulating the ideal leadership where one has to make tough calls and make decisions for the good of the society. It can be hard at times and sometimes, it has made me quit all together. But, the atmosphere, the graphics, art style, the gameplay, and the pity you have for your own people will keep you coming back again. However, i do think that they could have optimized this game a bit more in terms of frame playablity. Good Luck and a Wonderful Leadership To You!!

I think this is a pretty good rpg and I recognize it to be an influential game that has also impacted so many rpgs after this. However, I would think that the enhanced edition would at least kink out some of the bugs that plagued this wonderful game. I am not going to criticize anything with the gameplay or it's story because there is nothing to criticize over. It maintains its own style that elevate the rpg style it tries to imitate. However, the bugs were just horrendous with making this gameplay as awsome as it should be. Good Luck and Merry Adventures!!

I actually found the game to be pretty hard especially since there was Permadeath built in this game. Even with difficulty, one can still find the thrill of a challenge to be highly engaging with a game like this. Unfortunately, that was not the case for this strategy-combat puzzle game. Art style was great and felt like playing and old style arcade game. However, this game just isn't worth the high ratings it's receiving now. With its lack of true engaging game play, it feels like yet another clone of other combat-puzzle games that we see so much of today. Good Luck and Farewell Time Breacher!!

What can I say about this wonderfully delightful mess that I played for hours on end? Well first, nice effort for developing a game, considering only 2 people created this from the ground up. I also want to mention that the music was on par and will look forward to a game made by the same composer. However, all praises end there. The gameplay mechanics are just terrible. Really. It's BAD. The concept seems genuine but has been repeated by every other action-type tower defense game. Limited modes to play with and was unable to utilize my high-end graphics card. Now, this might be an error on my part, but I have spent loads of time trying to get it to use my card. NVIDIA might say that it used it but will show no signs of activity in the task manager or MSI afterburner. The graphics, while cute at best, doesn't adjust resolution properly to your PC. This means that the UI ends up looking bigger or smaller then it needs to be. Overall, this game is not worth your hard earned cash and there are plenty of games out there that are cheaper and promise more fun than this hunk of garbage. Good Luck!!

Not bad!!! I have played a lot of fps games but this one really impressed me in terms of plot. You start to sympathize with the main character and learn to only trust yourself and your actions. The gameplay is not anything to special but contains some element that makes it bearable to play. Its sense of immersion almost reminds me of the half-life series because of the way they portrayed the facility and the environment in general. Graphics are pretty decent, especially for 2005. In all, the only reason one should buy this game is for the plot. Any experienced fps player might find the gameplay uninteresting. However, that shouldn't be the main barrier behind a story that mirrors our view on society and the conspiracies associated with the leading forces behind modern civilization. I can agree with the rest of the reviewers that it is not only a great game but arguably one of the best games of all time. I found some parts to be extremely ingenious and other parts to be worked on. I loved the voice actors but the tutorial had LOTS of room for improvement. Graphics are ok for the 1990s but is not the main focus of the game. Gameplay can be challenging but this rivals many other civilization games like Civilization or Tropico. The difference is its simple yet effective way of battling with other cities and decisions made in battle could cost you the war. Although I never played Planescape: Torment, I thought it would be nice to hear a review from newly fresh eyes. I thought, from a new players perspective, that it delivered pretty nicely. I thought the storyline took a little too long to get into but was great nonetheless. Combat was very nice and really brought all possible scenarios that a player could take advantage of to defeat the enemies. The level and skill system, as well as the different classes, was not explicitly explained to the best that could be but with experience one can affiliate themselves with the mechanics very nicely. As others may have mentioned, I thought there was a little too much text to explain some of the simplest of things but I guess that was more of an artist's point of view. Overall, it's a game that was worth getting this 2017. Good Luck and A Daring Adventure!

I felt that the developers were going for a MOBA style yet still tactical RTS game. This felt very well polished with great cut-scenes. Even though this game is 4 years old, it still has that same touch that it did when it came out. A series of updates could have perfected this game but instead we got an intro to micro-transactions that they previously promised wouldn't be in the game. Now though I was able to afford the DLC, which surmount to a total of more than 100$, the DLC introduced different weapons and types of missions that doesn't change to the main gameplay so much. I wish that they had some sort of tutorial or Payday practice mission that helped me at the start understand how to play. I remember it taking me a while to understand how to do these missions just with AI. Imagine how long before I got a handle of online! Overall great game by 505 Games and I hope to see a more MODERN and FRESH game of this kind anytime soon from them besides new editions of the same game. Good Luck and Good Heist!!!

The only thing awesome about this game is how many times it will take you to reduce the volume. There were so many times were they had petty and uneeded noises that didn't attribute to anything at all. The only decent thing that they did was attempt to create some sort of plot(If you find it, tell me), and a lot of colors that should glue your eyes to the screen for a few minutes. Did I mention this game only last for 10 min.? I am getting a vibe that this is yet another Indie, life-lesson experience but it is hard for the player to grasp any sort of meaning when half of the time, you are looking at what seems to be a programmed artificial glitch that makes you wonder if the game really ended or not. If you have 10 min. to spare, pick up this free game and support the developers. Otherwise, find something better to do. Good Luck and Awesome Glitches!!!

I loved playing the first Ant War as a kid back in middle school. When I saw domination was out, I quickly went on Steam to get it. Overall, it was a great game and is a nice gateway to strategy games for kids. Managing certain factors like nest size or population size is key to keeping your colony alive. Moving from base to base is also an option as different environments have different density dependent factors that could lead to the success of your colony or its inherent doom. There are upgrades to different aspects of your colony like farming or military but I personally found those ineffective and expensive. Probably the best part of the game is the random events and encounters that you face everyday you go out for food. Battles, however anticlimactic it may be, still holds some excitement once in a while. But I do warn you: do not let your selfishness get the best of you in a battle thinking you might come out with a victory as you could end up leading your colony to its demise. But getting to relive some of my childhood as well as playing some games that I have never seen before was really cool. What Atari did well was allowing to use of an external controller or keyboard support. At first, the collection of games is a little overwhelming especially the way they organized it. After a while, you see reason to why they organized it the way they did especially when they tried to support multiple arcade consoles with their own games. The problem with this game is that it isn't something you should play with by yourself. Just like Super Smash Bros., you kind of need friends to play alongside with otherwise it gets old real quick and the players tend to be jacka**es. The payment for the characters as well as some of the in-game items are fair but sometimes it can be a little overpriced. My advice: don't pay real money for this game. Now there are probably people looking at my rating and wondering why I loved it so much. Yes, it may not have fully lived up to the expectations that people had when buying it but people are missing the big picture that Hello Games made sure to accomplish before releasing the game: Exploration. Yes, there may have been a lack of actual gameplay but exploring worlds that no one but I will ever see in my lifetime is not only glorious but extremely wonderful and eye-opening. The graphics and color scheme were amazing, the small but substantive gameplay that they had were meant to strive for, and the random generated planets and galaxies were something to look forward to!!! Hello Games wanted you to get lost in each and every one of these planets and to focus less on the destination and revel every moment in the journey. A few things that they could have done to really sell the people at the initial release would have been to provide a better random-procedural algorithm for making some animals to prevent lookalikes on different planets!! But that just goes to show that science isn't perfect and animals can, due to convergent evolution, look the same. What I hope that people would continue to do is to keep playing the game and to not delete it. The developers at Hello Games have been working non-stop to deliver updates that would live up to your standards, your dreams. Also, if you love the modding community, look for some available mods on Nexus or any other modding website. WOOOW!!!! Just WOOOOW! This is by far one of the best games I have ever played. First, it tells a compelling story that is so deep and so profound that it brought tears to my eyes and sounds of woe to my ears after playing for more than 30 minutes. Whoever says that this is "just a walking sim" doesn't understand why video games are such a part of our lives. They are meant to convey a story in a way that is interactive and different to the mass. This truly satisfied this message and did it beautifully. Every short story that you are part of brings you closer to the family and the true messaged conveyed in the bigger story: life should be treasured always, even when it is short-lived. Captivating. Moving. Mesmerizing. Creepy. Wondrous. Touching. If you had doubts about this game but you want an experience of what 2017 has to offer, TRY IT OUT. I got this game on the P.C and I have to say that the idea seems pretty ingenious. My view on the game was that there would be tons more destruction than was actually present. Instead, what I got was individual "assassinations" that barely worked half of the time. Campaign was ehhhh. Survival which I thought would be a blast just ended up out of my hand when I realized that a lot of the builders started to reach the top after climbing a whole stairs of nothing. I would have preferred it if they actually build themselves along the way; they can't just reach the top, make a platform and then call it a day. This could have really gotten somewhere but the P.C version was what the smartphone should have been and only been. For the PC, they could have added more features, grander ultimate kills, and a balanced element system( water felt so useless sometimes). I would not recommend playing this on the PC and its better to get this on your phone as a time-waster ONLY. Good Luck and Good Punishing!!!!!

After playing this game, it now holds a place on my favorite rpg games right next to Skyrim, Legend Of Zelda, and the likes. It not only has a well done story-line but you slowly find your self immersed into this vast world and mesmerized by ingenuity of the creation of the environment. A good rpg game allows the player to fully grasp the personality of the characters and the purpose they have to the story. 3SOF did not only accomplish this but they did it in the simplest of ways from the occasional banter and ridicule from Random to the frightened remarks of his best friend who is a snappy iguana. It kept its fighting mechanics the same with its resemblance to classic rpg games with its turn-by-turn based actions. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and play this game, you plebeians!!! Another game by the upcoming developers at DigiPen!!!!! Well Done!!!!! This game, with its Tronesque environment and its arcade style racing, made this game ABSOLUTELY fun to play with. It adds a few twists by overamplifying its gravity bending stunts, unexpected and dangerous obstacles, and a well created mini story mode and hardcore mode. I spent a few hours trying to complete hardcore mode and I must say that it is extremely challenging. The controls could have been done better but with what these amateurs have done, it can be excused. I have been following these developers and they are creating a new game called Distance which is a sequel to this game. I have already bought it and it is MUCH better than this one. The race tracks are beautiful and the different modes for driving are apparent for anyone who has their own wheel and pedal and wants to go first person or someone who prefers the omniscient view of third-person. My recommendation is to play this game in first person because you get this game to feel the rush and realism of an actual race. My only downside to this game is its very gpu and processor heavy. I was only able to get about 30 fps most of the time and rarely did I get in the 40s. This was with an NVIDIA GeForce 940MX, 8gb of ram, and i7 6500u 3.1 GHz. I love the concept of the game and I hope that they could take this further like they did for Nitronic Rush. I wish that maybe there was a concrete story or just the ability to be able to save and load from where I left of in the Adventure mode. I also wish there was support for game-pad but I am willing to discard that opinion just because I can't always get what I want. Love the B-Movie aspect and for people who still use 3d glasses, there is an option to toggle it as well. Overall this is a FREE game that has shows no signs of amateurism. The only issue I had with this game was the instructions and tutorial. There was barely any way to know how to start this game.

This was my first ever "legit" pc game I had ever attained. It left a great impression on me! I just thought that the control scheme was too complicated.
