Transformers: Dark of the Moon4
May 28, 2025
Their is literally no reason to ever play this, their are other Transformers games for the DS that are so much better than this. Here, you vaguely walk around while holding the A button. Upgrades barely mean anything, and the game is so short, even if you go for all upgrades.

This game is peak childhood for me. The gameplay is very simple and child friendly, if you are not a child, I would not recommend.

My World, My Way7
May 28, 2025
My World, My Way is silly, thats about it. The battles aren’t complex, the gameplay isn’t deep, but man is it likable. Elise is such a lovable ****, you simultaneously hope she gets the boy but also hope she fails because she’s not exactly the nicest person. The use of “pouting” is so fun, you “pout” about something and it magically changes for you, the landscape, enemies, rewards. It can sometimes get a bit grindy though. Overall the game is ok, but nothing too crazy.

Undertale7
May 28, 2025
I wish I enjoyed Undertale more. The characters and story are great but man the gameplay just doesn’t feel good for me. I did play on Switch, it probably feels better when played on a keyboard, but still the gameplay ruined the experience for me. I’d much rather have watched a YouTube video of a play through over playing it myself. The game is good, just not for me.

Bloons TD 6+8
May 28, 2025
BTD6+ might be the best tower defense I’ve ever played. Progression feels satisfying, upgrades like Exp for towers and Monkey Knowledge let you target the playstyle you want. Easy levels can be quick little excursions, while CHIMPS (The hardest difficulty) provides a very difficult challenge for those looking for that. Updates are consistent, new paragons, new levels, and plenty of balance changes to keep the game fresh and stop any one tower being the best. The most recent updated added Rouge Legends, an entire extra mode with its own progression separate from the main game. Overall, this game has tons of content and can keep you hooked for a long time.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!10

I’m normally not the biggest fan of many visual novels, but the ones that do it right like DDLC tell incredible story’s. The game does have the case of a slow beginning, but it does it well and gets you familiar and comfortable with the characters before the game starts getting into the real meat of the story. Also Sayori is best girl and I’ll protect her with my life.

Omori10
May 5, 2025
The peak of story telling. This game has my favorite story of any game ever created, Basil is my favorite character in any work of anything ever, and in total is my 2nd favorite game of all time. The game does have a fairly simple combat system, and I do agree with other reviews that, in a game as deep as this, using emotions as a rock paper scissors system is not the best. But again, the game is absolutely carried by story alone, it’s that good.

Yeeps: Hide and Seek10
May 5, 2025
Yeeps is by far my favorite game in VR. The hand based locomotion popularized in Gorilla Tag feels fast, sharp, and lands right where your hands should be. Unlike Gorilla Tag though, you have more tools up your arsenal, building can be used to hide, block players, or just chill in the sky. Gadgets also give new parts to gameplay and something worth working towards, rather than just getting funny hats. Consistent monthly updates keep adding more content to come back to. However the best part of the game is the community. Yes, like literally any game with voice chat, there will likely be some amount of screaming children, but as said, that’s just how voice chat is. The Community Worlds (CW) are filled with creative works and maps all made by players. It can take a while to earn enough money to buy all you want to make your own (theirs a limited amount daily) but it doesn’t feel too bad most of the time. If you do check the game out I do have one recommendation… Community World “ARTS” is mine :3

Indigo Park: Chapter 18
May 5, 2025
The game is very small. You can clearly tell Indigo Park was made by a small but passionate team. It definitely needs more time in the oven and more chapters but I think given time this game will be able to go far. Gameplay is very simple and more story focused, but the characters (Rambley my beloved) are all very likable so it makes the story enjoyable. There are some very subtle details that you wouldn’t be likely to notice on a first playthrough, showing that this project was not a rush but a passion. Oh, also, THEY ADDED THE CAT LETS GO!

Hollow Knight10
May 5, 2025
This is the absolute peak of game design and my favorite game of all time. The map is sprawling and interconnected, the fighting and movement feels crisp, accurate, and is just fun to mess around with, and the music can be beautiful and quiet, or the most intense fight of your life. I may not be the greatest player and have never gotten full completion, but I have still come back to beat the main game multiple times. Loss is punishing enough to avoid it, but it never feels like you lose everything and should quit. The difficulty gives the perfect amount to feel accomplished in defeating a difficult boss, but not so hard that it feels impossible (Except for the challenges in the game made to be ridiculously hard) Death also never feels cheap, death feels like it’s always caused by your own lack of skill instead of something unavoidable. Oh yeah, and how could I forget *goes on multi hour long speech on silksanity, Silksong before GTA 6, yada yada and so on and so forth*
