Saw it in a bargain bin, thought I couldn't go wrong at 40% off... I was wrong. Absolute console control garbage. If I wanted to fight with **** camera controls via analog stick for 100+ hours I would have purchased the console version. Unfortunately the EA marketing dept. is spending a fortune on paid positive reviews otherwise this would be a unanimous 2-point user score. Here's to hoping I can return this pile of crap to the retail store :/

Dragon Age: Inquisition3

Dragon age 2.5. This is another action game with hints of RPG. Equipment is limited ala.DA2. Class skill trees (MORE limited than DA2). No healing skills, just "barriers". Take advantage of the EA great game guarantee and get your money back so that Bioware stops making these sorry excuses for RPGs.

6.5 actually. Decent solo TD. Gameplay is fun, strategy is decent: each different employer requires you carry a different type of cargo, these come with negative side effects that will change the way you plan your ship build. Annoyingly, you must place the cargo before you pull out of the dock, which means either playing the level handicapped, or restarting a launch scene you can't skip. The "path" the mobs take is static, so once you've run the level a few times you'll know where to build first. The voice acting is good, but the story is bland, and the jokes are worse. Similar to the SC2 warship map in building in that different towers take up room, require power, will need a shield etc.

Claims to be "Now you and the few scattered survivors must band together to survive and rebuild in a 3rd-person action game set in a dynamic open world." However, from the get-go it's a story quest driven roller-coaster. very light in the "role playing" department. As you run around questing you'll gain stats that change nothing in the way of gameplay. If you go off alone, your play is limited by Exhaustion, which lowers your max stamina 10% every 20 mins. When you run out of stamina, you can't fight, run, etc. So you're dead. How do you avoid exhaustion? Gather survivors! How? You are forced into story quests to rescue other "survivors" who join you, and then proceed to fight and eventually kill each other UNLESS you hold their hands on more "quests" which involve walking to a nearby house and scavenging, which earns you exhaustion. But hey, you found supplies to upgrade your "sleeping area (no beds)" to a "bunkhouse" where you still can't sleep to remove exhaustion; for that, you'll have to switch to a different survivor with no stats (guess it doesn't matter since the stats don't do anything) or log out. Logging out for an hour removes exhaustion. Game gets a 2 for copying GTA driving, running over zombies is cool. Have fun?
