They should have let Lasso rest in peace. Apple’s money grab bringing this show back leaves a bad impression of the Lasso franchise which had ended on a good note. Lasso’s smarmy shtick is wearing very thin and there just isn’t the chemistry of the men’s team to hold it together anymore.

Season 3 has been a real disappointment. The “forgetting drug” makes zero sense (not to mention the juvenile name). The characters lack any real sense of purpose in this season. Juliette while still played superbly by Ferguson hasn’t been given anything to do in season 3. It’s just really boring to be honest. Also the flashback scenes to 300 years earlier are adding nothing and the acting is bad. It pulls you out of the story and then does nothing but frustrate the viewer. The woman who plays Charlotte in the flashback scenes IS TERRIBLE. To top of the torture, the AI therapy sessions with Camille in the IT room is just plain cringe or comical depending but neither are good. The whole show is not going anywhere this season.
