Star Wars Outlaws9

Played the game after the large patch. I must admit that I enjoy most of the game. Sometimes enemies do see you a bit too fast to my liking when you're doing the stealth approach. The PS5 Pro version looks about okay, I do think (based on Digital Foundry its comments) that they can improve this.

The Last of Us Part II10
Jul 3, 2020
Great game if you want to 'experience' something that is way more than a 'third-person shooter' or classic adventure game. Yes, the shooting is 'clunky' at some points, but that's related to the stress that these characters have to handle with. If you upgrade your guns Ellie gets steadier when she tries to shoot someone. It's really nice and balanced to see that you're character isn't the 'ultimate superwoman'. The story is cool, you have to be open-minded. If you've liked the original, I personally think this sequel is a must-have. And yes, some plot twists may not be the ones you prefer... If you start to play this game with an open mind and without any expectations, it will be worth it. If you already have a negative 'vibe' surrounding this title, avoid it and play something else.

Werewolves Within9
Dec 8, 2016
Very pleasant and cool game to play. To win or avoid suspicion, you have to be verbally strong to defend yourself. It's not a real issue for most players, but when English isn't your native language you need to get used to it. The animations are very well done. You almost get the feeling that the other characters really speak to you because of the synchronization between the noise of other players and the mouths. The rules are different compared to the usual 'boardgame', but that makes it more fun to explore. The only 'minus' is that the gamedesign is based on 'one round'. Werewolves can't kill during the night and try to win the game by overpopulating the townsfolk. But on the positive side: this makes the game feel fresh.

Watch Dogs9
May 28, 2014
Cool game, I'm really happy that I've bought this. Graphics on PS4 are nice, gameplay is cool, story is believable. I get it that some people are disappointed but they shouldn't act like Watch_Dogs is the only game that looks different than the initial E3-reveal. It's not like the game doesn't do what was promised, everything (gameplaywise) that was shown back in 2012 is present in the game. Physics of the cars, world, etc is pretty much the same as GTA V. It's not way better or worse, it's comparable. On the other hand, free running is smooth and the animations of Watch_Dogs are better and more believable than its competitor. If you have your doubts of this game, don't let the flamewars scare you. Just buy it and you'll probably enjoy it like you thought you would before all the negative comments started (about the graphics, car driving, etc...).

Assassin's Creed: Revelations10
Nov 16, 2011
Without a doubt, the best Assassin's Creed yet. Some critics scores are very low because the gameplay hasn't change a lot compared to Brotherhood. But is this a bad thing? Why change the winning team? So, yes AC: Revelations gives you the same gameplay but it's placed in a better setting, slightly better graphics and a cool story. The setting is one of the best yet, Constantinople gives a vibrant world with NPC's that react 'smarter' than in Brotherhood and with a lot more animations. Also the draw distance of the game is increasingly better compared to Brotherhood. One last thing that I want to mention: The reviewers who give AC: Revelations a low score (due to the 'same' gameplay of AC: Brotherhood) and if they give COD: MW3 a high score, well they are not credible reviewers. They 'punish' one game with a low score because of the same gameplay, but the other game gets a 9 while it has the same 'negative' criticism. So please, don't miss AC: Revelations because of the 'strange' review scores. Read first a lot of reviews, not only the negative ones. And then decide if you want to buy this game or not.

Battlefield 39

Battlefield 3 gives an unique experience to console gamers. The graphics are nice, but it's not such a big leap if you compare it to Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Sometimes I miss the big destructions in the single player and the use of vehicles. The story is fairly good (maybe the best one in the Battlefield-franchise). Multiplayer is nice, but it has some glitches/bugs here and there. Nonetheless, a 9+ for this game.
