Updating the game with microtransactions after a month the game's release is just insulting. I would not have bought. The store added with the latest update only uses TEKKEN coins, you cannot use value obtained within the game, they are purposely made. To add harm, a costume costs 400 coins instead the minimum transaction is 500 coins. It is just predatory. If this is the way they treat players, I'm not going to recommend it. This is one of the reasons I avoided SFVI. Online you already find people with BC=NR on name, to mean buy costumes = no rematch, so even fewer people to play with (and to be honest I can understand that). When discussing the single player mode, I regard the game as an improvement over its predecessor. The narrative takes a more continuous direction, resulting in, in my viewpoint, a more enjoyable experience compared to that of T7. The arcade mode is also present, featuring several bosses. Additionally, Tekken Ball makes a return as an added feature, along with character episodes that include a scenario where their victory determines the outcome. Another noteworthy feature is the introduction of ghost battles, where artificial intelligence is trained using player data. The replays have been enhanced with a take-over functionality, which proves to be highly advantageous in this genre of game. There are also 10 trials per character in the training menu, unfortunately they do not unlock anything though. The online component offers both private and public lobbies, as well as ranked and non-ranked matches. The inclusion of an indicator to identify which of the two machines experiences lag during matches is a convenient addition. Lastly, the customization aspect, despite initially having limited options, now becomes clearer to me as to why. Consequently, while I will continue to play the game occasionally, my trust in the company has diminished as a result of this.

The original is one of my favorite games, from this title I only expected improvements, it is a paid beta. Going in order:The single player mode has been heavily cut, removed CO-OP both offline and online, removed pandemonium, removed most importantly the ability to buy with the coins (of RPG mode) the weapons for the various characters, now relegated to online grinding (per character). Gameplay: removed normal overheads and related only to auto combos from which you cannot continue the combo or as a form of dash attack, removed overdrive, removed rush and Backshift. The new BP system simply does not work, Raging Strike is too slow to open the opponent, the result obtained is that those on defense must in a tedious way only defend low and take back the turn when possible. The new system also tries to force more experienced users to use simplified inputs through tighter timings and moves with increased startups to accommodate this shift. The graphics is worse, look for example at Soriz's "Way of the Fundoshi Fist" you can see how both the shadows look incorrect and parts of armor that used to look like they were coming out of the artwork are now in simple 3d, this applies to all characters. The English translation could almost be considered fan fiction in its quality. The last thing left is Grand Bruise practically a copy of fall guy, nothing against it but when I think about the fact that it could have been replaced by other modes for the base game it seems like an immense waste. The game already has DLC with characters outside the series (which as much as I like it) I find it pretty stupid considering the gigantic number of characters present in the gacha who were not represented and will continue to not be thanks to this, a battle pass was also announced, a tactic that continues to persist, unironically the costume presented for it is censored. I'm tired of seeing fighting games and having to wait years for them to be in good condition, I can't recommend it in this state, it takes the solid base of the last patch of the previous game and ruins it with senseless choices, bugs and predatory tactics.

There is no worse thing than blocking such an important part of the story behind a DLC, I would have preferred a thousand times an extended presentation of this story, compared to the underwhelming game that is the third one. Unfortunately, the game has only minor variations from the gamplay from the base game, it improves it but I still prefer the other three for the reasons already listed in the base game. The game world is fun to explore and no frame drops are present. The music is a perfect mix of the series with the only negative being the horrible menu music, it was as infuriating in the base game as in this one. Matthew, A, Kagiroi, Nikol, Na'el are new characters much more interesting to watch than the cast of 3, not to mention the most powerful engineer in the world and Mr.Triple Strike himself. However, many references are left vague, and it leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.

Soul Hackers 2 is not really a sequel to the original 1997 game and the first Devil Summoner, so it is not mandatory to have played the previous ones, however, it is always nice to have a bit of a cameo. The game is a JRPG quite similar to DDS in basic structure, however, the tug and pull between the few dungeons and soul matrix weighs a bit, I did not find the subquests particularly boring, nevertheless they are blatantly put in to lengthen the game. The gameplay is the usual of the saga, seek and strike weakness, with few differences. I didn't find the characters particularly bad, but I think the matrixes are superfluous, there was no reason why you couldn't find a way to implement their conversations during the story. I don't find Ringo a good main character, usually MCs are quieter to inmedesimate the player, and in dialogue choices it weighs quite a bit when you have one who seems to have his own opinions. I would have preferred Arrow to lead in the dungeons and Ringo in the matrixes, it would have made more sense. The thing I liked most about the game is the translation, don't make these games in English if that's possible, the European translations of the game are much better edited, and close to the Japanese script. To keep in mind that a part of the story is kept as DLC, and grinding is not among my favorite activities some aspects of the game could have been finished better.

Xenoblade Chronicles is the JRPG of the seventh generation. It is also the game that most pushes the Nintendo Wii to the limit of its technical possibilities, to the point that at times you can feel the effort of the console and the developers. Outstanding plot, soundtrack, and art direction. Fun and rewarding combat system and customization. Long-lived, varied, packed with content. Impossible not to remember it with joy.

One of the best games of the WII generation brought back with a bang. The developer didn't just overhaul the interface in combat, but every single menu, screen or function, the collection screen, empathic dialogues and especially the affinity chart, is now much clearer. My only negative note about this version is that it has some small censorships compared to the original and all versions including the JP version have this change. An immense and content-rich JRPG.

Finding on solid system and replayability in a JRPG is one of the most difficult things to do in videgames. This game takes what the first one does well and adds stuff on top of it, is fun and satisfying to learn. The BLADE system has so many conbinations that it is impossible not to find a shade of mechanics that doesn't give satisfaction to use. The updates since release have only improved it over time. A story of growth and memorable villains to this day make me remember it as one of the most enjoyable games I have finished, along with the first one. A return to what makes JRPGs fun.

Twitter is not the world, I'm writing this and I'm wasting my time on this because I cared about the series, note the past tense used in the sentence. I've tried not to do spoilers so I won't touch on all the problematic points. Theres a ton of little problems that put together recreate a mediocre experience. Ryuki and Tama feel solid but I was pretty disappointed because you only get them for the first part of the game. The somniums are better than the first game accompanied by the new VR sections that are quite good and it is better optimized than the first one in the technical compartement (almost no frame drops) with the audio voices top notch both in english and in japanise, however in a game that makes story its centerpiece it is not enough to excuse the flaws of the writing. Story which honestly seemed more interesting in the beginning than the one in the first game, but soon gets trite and rehashed. Mizuki and Aiba's dynamic is alot worst than Date and Aiba. The former fell pretty flat for me compared to the latter. My main problem is that Mizuki didn't really have much of a character arc. Gimmicks aside you could swap her with anyone and the game would still work, nothing changes story wise. It's amazing how much of a step back she is to her first game appearance. Her chemistry with Aiba is kinda ok, but there's not really any deep bonding going on like Ryuki and Tama, who shoulda have gone back to being the leads in the last act since they had more to overcome. The pacing was worse than the first game. It would really help to make the game shorter and the plot tighter without all the bloat like the constant pointless detours or especialy the parts where the characters just keep repeating the same plot points over and over. Localization cut some stuff whitout motive, i can guarantee that the in game voice of a certain tool misses pieces of info (which I won't mention for spoilers). I liked the first AI game and this one felt lackluster compared to that. Still, it is worth checking out if you enjoyed the 1st game, at 20 euro no more than that. it's not the disappointment that ZTD was but it's closer than I expected.
