This was hard for me to rate because it’s a good game and is enjoyable the issue is they took so much out from the original game and turned this from a horror game into a survival game instead so it lost the original spirit which is why I fought between rating it a 6 or 7. The game and graphics are gorgeous, the game play is solid though they got rid of a lot of the puzzles in the game and some main story areas that intertwined with Resident Evil 2. It’s a fun game just a bit disappointing if you know the original.

The updated graphics, voice acting and gameplay was a great adaptation for this remake. It carries the spirit of the original game while looking beautiful in the process and remains a good horror game. The story is top notch and the characters are fun with a solid background. The remake Manages to make itself its own game while maintaining the spirit of the original which is a rare thing for any remake in any media. Overall it was a real fun experience.

This is my favorite game this year. They historical and philosophical references are everywhere and it’s great. The graphics are great and the gameplay is fantastic. I don’t normally rate a game so high but it feels like they did everything right and it’s been awhile since I enjoyed a game this much. It has a nice level up system and good difficulty settings. I played it under the samurai Cinematic which was Japanese audio with English subtitles. the next Play through I’m planing English to hear how those voice actors sound.playing this game you really get into the feel of a samurai movie. You can take on a darker tone as you assassinate people but that’s your choice. I honestly enjoyed fighting people out in the open. Overall this is a very entertaining game.

I love this game but I have to give it only a seven mostly because the quests can be just as boring as the grinding. The story telling is really good especially the computer videos and seeing what’s going on in the real world. I just really wish the dungeons weren’t boring to go into but overall it’s fun.

One of my favorite games. Great story, decent gameplay, good voice acting and has the most well balanced timing between clips and gameplay for a game that is story based that I have come across.

The game looks beautiful and has great voice acting. The fighting system is real time and it’s alright. Tifa is the most overpowered character in the game. The story changes slightly and some for the good and some bad. They did add some fun side stories but the game only covers Midgard. The weapons and stealing system were my biggest disappointments with the game otherwise I would have given this game a solid 9. The weapons are more just for appearances. You can upgrade them anyway you want and automatically learn their abilities. Stealing is useless even if you get it to work where as it originally was required to get some of the best items in the original game. They really did an amazing job with Tifa’s character in this game though I well admit they made her a bit more feminine in this game. Overall it was a fun experience
