Such an over-rated game. I give it a 4, but its tempting to rate it lower just because of my expectations. The systems in this game are BAD, like really bad, its going back 20 years to find systems this clunky and uninspiring. While the world design is wonderful, as are the enemies, the graphics themselves are really quite bad, I cannot get over how this doesn't get looked at more - flat geometry, next to no foliage and terrible where is is, its enemies are good, but the tech around that is bad. The gameplay is a **** show for me, its a mess that doesn't feel good. The only joy you get is the satisfaction of overcoming the ****show that is the controls and defeating bosses with giant HP bars and borked bounding boxes - why people think this makes it good is beyond me. Do not buy

Dissapointing.- A bit soul-less as others have already said. They made some aspects of their game worse than it was in the past, and have not improved in the other areas. Exploration for instance - the places feel empty, and the tile based system they use for their game may not have been so terrible if it wasn't for the fact that it makes you also feel limited in exploring. Combat is ok, but its more like a borderlands game without a significant skill system based around combat, and a fairly uninspiring set of weapons to use. Bethesda have more and more become the activation company we all hoped they would not become, fallout 76 and not starfield being quite hard to recommend that seems more interested in adding features that salesmen like to sell, but without as much substance so that players will et heaps of joy from. Also, Bethesda, please improve your lip sync tech, its very bad compared to what's on offer these days, sometimes utterly out o sync with what an NPC is saying. Sure, I think a few people will di it more than me, and perhaps I am over RPG FPS games, so for those I wish you luck. But its been a real disappointment or me.

I am shocked. Its what, over a year since release and I just bought this game. I cannot believe this isn't thought of as one of the greatest ever ARPG Open World games by more people. This is right up side by side with The Witcher 3, and trades blows with it on a couple of fronts being ahead and behind. Just sensational. I am truly taken a back as to how great this is. I don't do meta critic reviews, but again I am so impressed. The criticisms of the story are way overblows, its wonderful, and while I get a lot of people just skip stuff I am NOT one of those people. The only fault I had with it was its flimsy set-up that initially leads into the game - even with the reap video it doesn't gel like it should. The dialogue, the acting, and oh the incredible technology they use to bring movie like motional cap into real time - all just creates an insane level of authenticity to the story and characters that so impressive its jarring! I've never been so captured by how a game implements its quests and world jobs other than say The Witcher 3 as well, there is a distinct lack **** feeling, and a huge feelings of just exploring and experiencing - even simple quests are wonderfully engaging and don't fall into usual Open World tropes - amazing. Look I cannot say enough about this, it was on special (I think still is) and I got it, and I realise now that its worth every single dollar of the full price anyway. It gives so much and the fact that I haven't even talked to you about the graphics should say enough about how impressive this game is. Its incredible - buy it.

A joy to play. Supports some additional and important tactical options than before, and still in an approachable system with loads of depth. Looks great. Looking forward to the traditional expansions for the US/UK campaigns, but what you get already is of course plenty of content.

Don't be fooled by the haters, this game is excellent top to bottom. While there is no 'uber' neural networked AI to smash you yet, the AI itself is vastly improved and cars are constantly trying to overtake - however since its GT and you can tune your cars to be so much more powerful a lot of races can be made very unfair in your favour :) The weather effects and new physics model is just outstanding from a hardcore simulation sense driving this game with all the assists turned off is very close, and in some ways better than the best hardcore sims out there - this is not a joke, nor a exaggeration, when this comes to PC (please please please), this will be very much welcomed by those fans. Graphically, its a dream and due to its immaculate interior and exterior detail really can give you just a little slice of that feeling you get from actual car ownership. Amazing work, how do they do it. A labour of love that's for sure.

Way better than its given credit for. Pretty impressive running on console, really impressive graphics and sound design, poor framerates when around lots of player built structures and spawned items. No other game on consoles really compares.

Really cool RPG - takes a little while to figure out how it works, but once you do its a gem! Very large and especially active world. Make sure you put the autosave on!
