The gameplay is poorer than previous entries. Way too much effort was put into making the intro good, but not the whole rest of the game. And the story of this one just ****: whoever wrote this had their head really, really far up their fence-sitting ****

Nearly perfect, my only issue is that they nerfed the game due to the complaints of casuals

I enjoyed this game as a child. It has a very unique and cute charm to it. Sometimes I still revisit it just for the nostalgia.

Paper Mario: Sticker Star4

Aesthetically, it’s quite charming. I also like the music. Boss battles are decent. And well… that’s about it. The rest of the game is quite bad. Especially world 3. World 3 is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever willingly subjected myself to. The only people who will enjoy this game are children who can’t notice the how flawed it is

What is there to say that hasn’t been said already? This is one of if not the best Mario RPG. Play it if you can

This game is almost like a guilty pleasure. Is it a game for babies? Pretty much. But that doesn’t stop it from being a super relaxing and enjoyable experience. Sometimes, it's nice to enjoy the simple things in life

Mario & Luigi: Brothership7
Jan 2, 2025
I’m gonna be slightly harsh with this review because I hold this series to a higher standard than was delivered with this game. My main gripe with this game is that it does not have enough content to justify the 40-50 hour playtime. The content in this game is stretched thin. And, while there are some charming characters (The Extension Crew, Chilliam and Burnadette, those weird little turnip guys, etc.), a lot of the most important characters are actually quite one-dimensional. The main little pig fairy who follows Mario and Luigi around the entire game is so forgettable that I can’t even remember its name! And Starlow is RIGHT THERE, so why not just use her as the helper fairy? At least she has a personality. Another problem with this game is the bosses. Mario and Luigi is known for its incredible catalogue of bosses. There are always 20+ fun and well designed bosses in each entry *except* for this one. This game has about 8 fun and unique bosses, many of which are sadly just re-used later in the game. The story in this game is okay. The story has some notable flaws (mainly with the existence of Zokket), however the main message of the game is actually quite good and goes a bit deeper than “friendship is magic and solves all”. Oh, and why isn’t Luigi’s action wheel tied to the B button??? It’s been that way the entire series and now Nintendo changes it? So strange. Now for the things I like. I like the plug combat system, it allows for a lot of fun strategy. I like how enemies will pair up and use combo attacks that they don’t use when they’re solo. I think the enemy variety is adequate, though not quite up to par with previous entries. The artstyle is a great transition from previous 2D titles, however it’s just a little bit lacking in facial expressiveness. And for the part that I REALLY like: the last 5 hours of the game. The last 10% of the game is super fun. Every problem I’ve mentioned before doesn’t apply to the last segment of the game. If the whole game was as good as that last 5 hours, I would rate it at least a 9/10. BUT THATS THE PROBLEM, isn’t it? The game could’ve been condensed down to a 30 hour experience of a much higher quality, but for some reason everything but the last 5 hours is stretched thin! Either this game needed more development time put into the first 90% of it, or it needed to be shortened down. However, despite my complaints, I still had fun. I think this game is worth buying if you’re a big fan of the series, or if you’re a patient person and able to push through the slower segments of the game. Bowser’s Inside Story is just a better game in every capacity. If you're reading this and haven’t played Bowser’s Inside Story yet, just play that game instead of Brothership. Overall, Brothership is good… but not great. 7/10

Perhaps my favorite game ever made, this is what I consider to be the ultimate Zelda experience. It's literally Ocarina of Time but better in every way. I cannot think of any flaws. 11/10

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time9

This is often considered the best game ever made, and for good reason. Absolutely amazing vibes from this game, tons of secrets to explore and find, some of the best dungeons that the zelda series has ever seen, and an incredible soundtrack to accompany you the whole way through. It's incredible that nearly 30 years later, this game is still an amazing joy to play through. The only reason i don't give this a 10 is because many of the mechanics and controls in this game are very dated. also the water temple **** lol. But otherwise it's pretty damn close to perfect

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild7

Good game, although lacking in atmosphere. It's very bland and basic, but generally fun to play through. I loved the shrines in this game, definitely the best parts. I also had tons of fun with the special abilities such as magnesis and whatnot. Exploration is a lot of fun on the first and maybe even second time through It lacks replay ability, the story and characters are just ok, and there's honestly not enough content variety. The enemies and collectibles in this game are highly repetitive, and there should have been more fully fleshed questlines. The dungeons in this game are probably the worst in the entire series. It's pretty good. I recommend at least one playthrough, as it has widespread appeal

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom3

Why is the map here so similar to the original map? It pretty much ruins the exploration. There were not enough sky islands at all... and the depths are just a reskin of the surface, kept very dark so you don't notice how boring and empty it is. the story is genuinely horrible, I've watched SpongeBob episodes with a better plot than this game. and the dungeons in this game are pretty bad, though not as bad as in Breath of the Wild. This game also completely lacks an atmosphere of any kind. it evokes little to no emotion through a majority of the game The good stuff? I like the enemy variety and combat, and I like the fuse mechanic a lot. Some of the puzzles are pretty decent, and the sand temple almost felt like an actual dungeon with fun stuff in it. almost. Ganondorf was a good villain, and his boss sequence is one of the best in the entire Zelda series. That said, this game was a massive, massive disappointment. Nintendo needs to set their next Zelda game in a very different world, with new exploration to be done. And hopefully, it might have a decent story and atmosphere to go along with it. I recommend playing this game if you've never played Breathe of the Wild, as then the exploration will feel fresh. Otherwise, play at your own risk
