The Last of Us Part II7
Jul 23, 2020
Finally done and got the platinum. As an initial impression. I honestly found this game disappointing and inferior compared to the first title. *Story - 2/10 - With how the story was TLOU1's greatest strength, this is TLOU2's weakest. First, this game showed one of the worst introduction in the game. It showed out of personality from one of its main characters and gave us one of the most disrespectful deaths you would ever see in a game. It could have been much much better but feels too rushed to cater the devs claim of "shock" factor. Moreover, many of the new npc or side character are uninteresting, awful, stupid and is just introduced in the game as a fodder to increase the meaningless death counts that will happen as you progress towards in the end. Regardless such a mess of a writing uncharacteristic of Naughty Dog. Compared to other previous ND games, this game also has some bad pacing in its story and gave an ending which will make you really feel you wasted your time. Beware! *Gameplay - 7/10 - Showing nothing worthwhile new or fresh, the game is still your typical third person shooter with stealth mechanics. The upgrades are still there as well as the gears and customized gadgets. a few new enemies like the dogs and shamblers were introduced but does not really that significant to be considered improving the gameplay. The fact that the gameplay still feels smooth is the only reason its a 7. *Graphics - 10/10 - Although this does not show really beautiful scenery like RDR2 or God of War, its character details and design is where its strengths are. To repeat every model in this is detailed from head to toe, the wounds, the veins, the dirt and the wrinkles in every body of each of its character can be seen. A beautiful and artistic game indeed. *Sound - 10/10 - The sound, music and voice acting of the game is still top notched. The actors are superb in delivering their speeches, the music is fitting for every place you see in the game (I also really like guitar minigames) and the sound of its signature clicker are still very scary and disturbing. Overall - 7/10 Although a still pretty much great game, this game pales in comparison with its first title due to how awful its story is. I don't really mind the diversity of its cast but the execution of its main plot could have been done in different orders which in my opinion could have made the game much much better. Sad that after 7 years this is the game I got. Regardless, it is done and like always, we need to move on hoping the next title will redeem this franchise.

Ghost of Tsushima9
Jul 23, 2020
Whew, finally got the Platinum of the game! All I can say is I got a fun ride and found the game to be the perfect swan song for the PS4. As to the scores: *Story - 8/10 - The story of the game did not do anything new or out of ordinary. It is a story between maintaining your samurai honor but sacrificing everyone or relinquishing the same and doing what must be done to do what you think is right and for the best of the many. However, although a simple story it was presented in a very thematic way of highlighting japanese culture and samurai code. Overall, I always prefer this manner of storytelling than trying to do too much or original. *Gameplay - 9/10 (10/10 for the melee combat, 8/10 for the stealth combat) - As shown above, this section was considered on two aspects: It's melee and stealth. The melee gameplay is great! The best melee sword combat for me in all the games I played. It is smooth, realistic and boasts some really cool moves you will never tire of using anytime you challenge a mongol through stand-offs. On the other hand, the stealth is likewise good but feels very familiar. However, it did show something new and awesome like the assassination kill streak and how your image as a ghost literally terrorizes your enemies and makes them retreat in fear of you. It feels awesome and really feels like you are indeed making an impact in the game world not only story-wise but gameplay-wise too. *Graphics - 10/10 - This game will show you one of the most beautiful and colorful scenery and landcapes you will find in an open world. One of the prettiest aspects in this is how the grasses moves with the flow of the wind. The color of the sunset and sunrise are very artistic and likewise pretty. Moreover, it really feels like an actual japanese films in terms of presentation and effects. It is also an added feature that the kurosawa or black and white mode will really make this game an actual old school japanese samurai film. *Sound - 9/10 - Its a great added feature that a japanese dub was introduced in the game. Moreover, the sound, music and voice acting whether japanese and english are on point (I much prefer the japanese VA though to make the game immersive). The only negative thing I found in this aspect is how the mouth movements does not match the japanese dub. Although I did not realize this until I was in the middle of the game. Total: 9/10 - This is a really great game which will be remembered amongst the best open world game of all time and also is one of its most beatiful and artistic ones. The melee combat is also one of its strong points and should be a focus of the devs to further improve if this will be a franchise. A perfect ending exclusive for the PS4 and likewise a great beginning for the upcoming PS5. Congrats **** Productions for this masterpiece ****!

ABZU8
Oct 30, 2017
Story - Abzu is one of those games which the story is not narrated nor explained and it is your job to give your theory or opinion as to what is happening in the game. Regardless, the general consensus is that you look like a person (or a cyborg) which goal is to give life to the ocean and/or save its inhabitants (the fishes). In my opinion, the main goal of its story is to show symbolism on how beautiful and how should we keep our oceans and inhabitants safe from pollution and danger. Still though, It is still engrossing and executed beautifully. A score of 9/10 for me. Gameplay - This aspect of the game was underwhelming for me. The gameplay is pretty much generic, you will swim and explore to different areas in the game and can communicate with those small robot things to help you get to the next area. It doesnt have the same unique and awesome gameplay Journey has for me. and lacks a multiplayer system which could have added replayability in the game. It also hurts that it is a much shorter game that its classic predecessor. Thus, a score of 4/10 for me. Graphics - Now this is where the game shines as well as the forte of its developers. Its beautiful scenery and theme is top notched that you could just relax while looking at its colorful, pretty, polished environments as well as its masterpieve level of lighting. It is perfectly performed. However, the same could not be said to the character designs and fish designs. all are pretty generic, however, there is a plus side that there are like hundreds of aquatic specie that you will encounter with varying size. designs colors and behaviors. It is awesome, a great score of 9/10. Sound/Music - Another strength of the game. Since there are no voice in game we will be focusing on the sounds. and its great! It accurately did the sound of moving water when you dive and swim fast. Lets not forget its awesome music which plays differently in each of the stages. From epic to beautiful to intense to bittersweet, it is a great medley of different and great musice. A sure 10/10. Fun factor - I loved this game so much but hated how it is too short. The scenery are in the same beauty as Journey and despite a short ride, I got a memorable and great experience exploring every nook and cranny in the game. One of the best Indie on the year it released. A great score of 9/10 Average - 8.2

Republique Remastered6
Oct 30, 2017
Story - The developer being one of Kojima's protege you could say and would have expected it to be weird, long dialogues but addicting kind of storyline. Alas, it had some of those engrossing elements but had issues and has some poor execution made that affected negatively its plot. Regardless, the story is as follow, It follow a girl named Hope imprisoned or housed in an unknown facility which makes experiment on other individuals like Hope. You (the mysterious guy/AI on the camera) must help her escape and obtain her freedom. A good plotline at start to middle but to be honest, it has a dissapointing (despite being meaningful) ending. Thus, a score of 8/10 Gameplay - The gameplay focuses mainly on stealth, with you controlling both the characters (Hope and the camera). Hope will be the one who will do physical actions like pickpocket, picking up items, clues or some collectibles while the camera will mainly do the hacking and mostly the puzzle area of the games. It has an organized gameplay with little to no issues but nothing really made it stand out as a whole since it is too standard. My main issue is how the game isnt really as intense as a thought it would be as well as the puzzle are pretty straightforward and few. As for the 5 episode game, only 1 of them had what a stealth game should have, pressure and intense and good puzzle. Thus, a score of 7/10. Graphics - Being an originally released mobile game years ago. Its expected that the graphics of the game will be behind compared to current gen games. However, it does not necessarily mean that it cant be criticized. The character design of some characters like Hope are good to great. while others are pretty generic and same especially the enemies in the game. Its pretty weird that one of them has an ID of a lady but the enemy you got that from looks like a bald, thin, pale skin guy that looks like Jinzo in Yugi oh. The areas also are plain looking. However, the effects of the game are accurate like how the camera becomes static when you transfer from one to the other, the night vision like to see highlighted objects and some parts. Still though, an underwhelming performance. An average score of 5/10. Sound/Voices - Well, music in the game is almost non existent. I really cant hear anything worthwhile to listen too. I understand though so you could focus more on the sounds the enemy make to know where to go. As to the voices, well I like to hear David Hayter's voice in a long time (Snake's voice actor.) However, I didnt like how he executed his voice in the game since he looked like overacting it too much and too whiny. The other are pretty decent but average as a whole. Thus, a score of 4/10 Fun factor - Well despite my complaints above and how for me this game is pretty average or below average as whole. I indeed liked it. I liked the characters of the game like Hope and Cooper (and his gaming addiction and opinons) except Zager and his whiny persona. The mood and mystery of the game was performed well as a whole but was toned down by the poor performance of its ending plots and twists. Still though, it was pretty satisfying to read and hear every collectible in game for you to understand its lore and Hope for me was one of the characters I cared about in game (and a small crush too boot) Thus, an ok score of 8/10 in here. Average score - 6.4

Mirror's Edge Catalyst5
Oct 22, 2017
Story - This game is considered either a prequel or a reboot of the series. Either way, the story's setting is in an area called The City of Glass and a story line where the oppressive reign of the Conglomerates dominates everybody and limits their freedom. The protagonist is Faith Connors and her role is fighting against this Conglomerate and her fighting for the sake of freedom and her family and friends. Story imo is very typical you see in every futuristic or dystopian games. Some of the supporting cast are interesting like Icarus and Plastic, some are not like Noah. The main villain in addition is not highlighted much in the game for you to care or worry about him whatsoever. The MC however Faith for me is pretty likable cause of her fiery, daredevil and tomboyish attitude. However, everything in this aspect as a whole is so-so. Thus, a fair score of 5/10. Gameplay - Now, as someone who has played the linear style of the first game. I am disappointed that they made this game as an open world. It doesnt fit its game style and I didnt enjoy you keep on running in point A to B as well as taking repetitive side missions, fetch missions, etc. In addition, fast travel isnt obtained until the middle of the game where you wasted time traveling from it. Another issue is that the guideline that you follow is sometimes unreliable as well as the stupid enemy AI of the game and the oh-so-awful fighting mechanics in-game. You could see that I have a lot of complaints in here but there are still some positives like some of the missions are fun and also I rarely encounter any game breaking bugs/glitches or issues (though there are occasional crash in game) and in my opinion I still liked its parkour elements though to be honest it is inferior compared to the first game. Taking all my points into a score, I will give this part a bad score of 3/10. Graphics - The overall graphics of this game is on the plus side. I really loved how pretty and cool Faith's character model and design is as well as other characters like Icarus, Nomad and Noah, the other unnamed NPC though are just recycled with different coloring and accessories though, but thats minor. As to the environment, the city of glass is pretty especially in areas you take main missions, however, the open world of it is plain. Its...just...white with few other light colors. There are also very few or rare fps drops I encounter in-game thus I usually enjoy a free flow movements in game without annoying issues. Overall, A good score of 8/10. Sound - Voice acting, Its decent but most of the voice acting in game lacks emotions, feels like im talking to a robot when speaking to NPCs in game, however, Faiths voice is great, It really fits her rebellious attitude though I would recommend more strength in her voice. The music however is different, I loved the main ost of the game as well as its soundtracks. Thus, another good score of 7/10. Fun Factor - Honestly, I didnt really enjoyed this game. The open world did not fit its gameplay, repetitive side missions, average storyline and plain envionmen, numerous collectibles that is more of a hassle than to enjoy. Though I liked the timed challenges in the game and the parkour elements and main missions. It is not enough for me to say that it defeats the negative part of the game. Thus, a score of 4/10 in this aspect. Average score - 5.4

Batman: The Telltale Series6
Oct 22, 2017
Story - Despite another Batman game came into our hands and despite the general knowledge of Batman/Bruce's story of crime fighting and how it is complicated in this generation to make a Batman storyline that is unique and different than the others. Telltale Games still did a fine job of making their OWN Batman/Bruce Story. Unlike others, they did not only focus on The Dark Knight but also highlighted the man behind the mask as well as other characters which are usually ignored or isn't touch upon in the batman universe and some known villains and characters that they changed that fits their story. I really cant say anything about the story that wont spoil but I can guarantee that if you are a die hard batman fan and you want something fresh and new. Then take it. My only issue is that the decision making part of the game doesnt really change much in the story. Regardless, A great score of 9/10. Gameplay - As a interactive Story-Driven game, gameplay is not their forte as well I had doubts at firs on how they could execute batman's action scenes. However, I was surprised and really am impressed how they executed the action scenes in this game decently. Its fun, cool and fair. Though I would have preffered more difficulty in it, they still did that aspect well. The stealth and strategy sequence of the game is also interesting and fresh that is showed in that genre. Thus, a score of 7/10. Graphics - Well, this is the part where Telltale really struggles. Despite the obvious improvement in their graphics, fps and lighting due to a better engine. It is still disappointing or below average in this generation of games. The classic Telltale stutters that you see in their games is still in here as well as the fps drops in certain cutscenes and dont forget that occasional awkward body motion or movements you will see during its scenes. In addition, the character designs of their characters and environments are still on the negative even though you could consider them as improvement. Overall, It is an improvement but is still bad. A bad score of 3/10. Sound - First is the voices, It is really good. Troy Baker's voice acting is truly top notch on how he could change to a calm and collected voice of Bruce to the monotone rugged pitch of Batman. Other good voice acting is also performed from almost everyone in the character line up that fits their persona, the only one in my opinion I have reservations is to the Joker. As to sound, I liked the intro sound that comes out at the first and last part of the episodes though I cant say this part is good because it isnt put well inside the episodes there are parts in the action scenes that is awkward cause there are no music played and some sounds are delayed in certain parts of the game. Overall, a decent score of 6/10 Fun Factor - As someone who loved Batman media (Im a big fan of Dark Knight Trilogy and also played all of the Arkham Series games.) I have first doubted if Telltale can make a Batman that can be distinguished from the titles I mentioned in terms of gameplay and story. But alas, my doubts been extinguished since I really like how they made an original story of Batman while maintaing the core parts of the plot they also added their own twists in the game which didnt hurt the story, in fact, it made it even more interesting. On the gameplay side, I liked the action sequence they made as well as other aspects like the stealth, the Boss fights are pretty plain though. Overall, I really enjoyed Telltale's version of Batman and it is distinguishable to the others. A good score of 8/10. Average Score = 6.6

Shadow of the Beast4
Sep 27, 2017
Story - This game has the same style of storytelling with games like Dark Souls/bloodborne series, Team Ico games and Playdead games. Which tells little to no storyline but shows it through scenes or showing things leaving it for the player to give their own opinions. However, this game did it badly, in the fact that you need first to collect some collectibles to unlock the story telling in between missions as well the dictionary of the enemies language you encounter for you to understand them to actually get a grip of whats happening or the plot. Regardless, the story is about a monster named Aarbron who was freed from slavery and use by Maletoth (the main antagonist) and in his path of vengeance, redemption and to cure his curse to be human again. A pretty short and mediocre and predictable storyline in my opinion. Thus, a score of 3/10. Gameplay - The genre of this game is regarded as a 2D action-platformer. The good part is it did exceptionally well on one side, but somewhat lacking on the other. On the good side is in its action elements, by the use of timing buttons to get high criticals and damage to your enemies, the reaction time of the controls are great, its flawless, exciting and great. However. on the lacking side is its platformer parts, Its pretty mediocre and really lacks in game. There is only one stage in the game which has an OK puzzle while others are pretty linear and also has 1 to none platforming stages. Another con for me is its scoring system, it takes away the fun of its battle cause you tend to get focused more on not getting hit and getting a higher score than focusing to unleashing your wrath. In addtion, boss fights are rather easy and despite the diversity on how you battle them, its kinda unenjoyable. Regardless, an ok score of 6/10 for me. Graphics - This game is gorgeous in my opinion and its graphics are top notched. The environment is pretty, smooth as well as the character motion and animations are silky smooth. FPS rarely drops during battle or cutscenes, the finishing animations of enemies are good. Character design are decent, my main issue though is in its enemy design, which lacks diversity since they only tend to recycle the image with few modifictions like colors etc. to show you it's a "different" monster. Regardless, a good score of 8/10. Sound/Music - Ignore the voice action, its almost non-existent in this game. Only voice in my opinion you could actually understand without subtitles or isnt a mumble of monster noise is the story narration you could collect in game. Thats about it. Music is also kinda meh, With nothing really made me notice it whatsoever. A score of 1/10. Fun Factor - Despite that this game has a lot lacking to be considered good, I enjoyed it personally, especially the battle mechanics of the game and how smooth its gameplay and animation as well as its gorgeous and diverse stages from living to dead to a tomb to a volcano. Only thing I could have wished is that they should have made it longer and just included a normal style of narration to actually understand its plot. Overall, a score of 6/10. Total average - 4.8

The Dwarves4
Sep 27, 2017
Story - This game is very loyal to the novel of the same name it was based of in which it followed accurately the narrative, story and characters of the said novel. By doing this, I could say that it has a great and interesting story about an epic adventure of a Dwarf blacksmith named Tungdil together with his group of different race and people in order to defend Girdlegard against the corrupted Magi Nudlin and the attack and influence of the Perished land in addition on finding the mystery of our main characters origins and history of the dwarf kingdome. All the characters are interesting and fun in their own way even the minor ones as well as their interactions with each other. My minor complaint are in the pacing of the game's style of narration is good but kinda annoying that the subtitle of the narrator is included in the text box where the dialogue of the character is also written. It makes me confused sometimes who is talking or not. Thus, a good score of 9/10 deserves this part. Gameplay - This is the part which this game lacks. I don't understand if this is an Action game, Strategy game or a merged of them both because its confusing, it has its good parts but a lot of bad parts due to the bad execution of mixture of classic and modern rpg gameplay. The pro is how many enemies you could fight in every fight you encounter in the game as well ai allies who would help you in other parts of the game. ITS A LOT and looks really like a war kind of overhead fighting mechanic this game has. Next is how unique each and every character is, One is offensive, the other defensive while others are support or for stealth. Lastly, is how a felt a slight of Dragon Age: Origins in the game. However, on the con side, its a lot. The customization is very limited that each can only equip one kind of equipment, you could only take 4 of your companions (I would have liked at least 6 or 8 characters) and how it is a real time type of rpg game focusing on action more which in my opinion would look better if they focused on strategy. Some annoying glitch or bugs in game and how very plain the adventure aspect of the game by only using a dotted world map style of getting to places. and how the game overall is too short for an rpg game. Thus, a score of 3/10 in this part. Graphics - This is the worst part of the game. Graphics is awful. Hell, even the obvious inspiration this game adapted namely Dragon Age: Origins still has better graphics than this game and it was released since 2010! A whole lot of fps drops and screen tearing both in the cutscenes and in the battle parts which could either annoy or affect your game. Characters all look like comic characters which you could see the edges of a square or whatever shapes you could see in the characters. I literally never liked the artwork nor anything related to this part. It is so outdated in today's standards. Therefore, my worst score of 0/10 for this part. Sound/Music - In terms of voices, I loved it. All of their voices (especially Boindil) are a match of their characters, though I have some reservations on Tungdil's voice actor. I could still say they did still do a pretty good job in his character over all. As to sound, I like their main OST as well as the epic music that comes at various parts of the game (I won't spoil.) A pretty decent overall job in this aspect. Thus, a good score of 8/10. Fun factor - This is a new part of my review I would be including which states my personal enjoyment and experience I felt during my playtime of this game. In my opinion, I was one of the person hyped on the ideas the developers showed in their trailers in the game. I was expecting to fight monstrous numbers of enemies and using different tactics and combo to beat them. However, upon playing it, was very dissapointed that it was limited, some areas are too small, some are too big while others are more irritating to actually enjoy. In addition, how you can only take 4 of your allies in battle when as a whole you can get more than 10 overall to recruit in the game. I would have liked for you take more of your allies in battles. The only thing i really enjoyed are its characters and their interactions. Thus, my fun factor in this game is only 3/10. It had potential, but it goes to waste due to bad execution. Overall - 4.6

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt9
Jan 8, 2017
Story - As prologue, the game continues 6 months after the events of witcher 2 where the older and grizzlier Geralt got his memory back and is now on his path to track and locate his wife Yennefer. The story of this game is awesome and like the Dragon Age and Mass Effect series, follows the very awesome decision making that makes different branching points and consequences. You can make decisions that might like kill another while it will save another, decisions that could make an impact later on in the game and many more. But what is the best thing in this game is that how sidequests are not that generic errand missions, almost every and each sidequests are relevant and affects the main story later on in the game. My favorite in the game are its contract missions, all are long, great boss battles and the various, unique and different ways our protagonist witcher will do to get the upper hand to defeat them. A great ending to a great series. A perfect 10/10 for me. Gameplay - As to this aspect, this game didnt really do that great, it did do good though, first is with regards tor the **** bad. The roads are usually narrow for your horse roach that usuaaly you get stuck at trees, rocks, etc and added the fact that when you whistle for Roach, he always comes out to the WORST places its so dumb, another thing is the quest line guide to missions are bad i dont recommend following them. As to the fighting, its decent in sword fight but I would have liked more customization since you are just stuck on swords. I understand why though. The cons regarding mainly the brawling or when you are fistfighting multiple enemies, the controls or options are bad and annoying when you cant use healing items and you are fighting in a small spaces. Swimming mechanics are subpar too, My biggest problem though is its bugs, there are instances when you cant dive in the water or when you are riding Roach and suddenly an invisible wall occurs which you cant pass but can pass when on foot and many more, However, this game though did showed the BEST Minigame in a game for me ever, **** need to explain why, i encourage you all to try this minigame asap. Overall, a good score of 8/10 will do. Graphics - First of all, i can really say that this is one of the prettiest environment i have seen in the RPG genre (Bloodborne and Dragon Age Inquisition are the only ones who can match it) it is detailed and i like how the weather changes from time to time. As to the characters though, the game has the most number of gorgeous and sexiest female characters ever. Everyone is pretty, had nice ass and **** whatsoever (esp the sorceresses) the guys are another story though since most are either too grizzled, old or generic except the main characters. Regarless, still a good game to look at and deserves a score of 9/10. Music - music wise, damn this is one of the best soundtracks and themes i have ever listened to. Battle theme is good, but my favorite in the in game piece is a song sung by Priscilla in game. Really soothing, I liked the theme also that plays while im just in my boat exploring the Skellige waters. Voice acting is also superb, though i didnt like how the voices of generic characters are reused so much in game. However with regards to the main characters and npcs are good overall, Geralts low voice, Yen's proud voice, ciri's feisty voice and so on. Though i didnt like the voice acting of Triss (she made her look like a good girl archetype which honestly if you played the previous games and read the books, it doesnt fit her character whatsoever) and the change with Dandelion's voice actor which is good but i would have preffered his former voice. Still a decent performance though. A score of 9/10. Total Average = 9 My principle in reviewing games is nothing is perfect and nothing pure **** game and that there are no exceptions. Now, everyone keeps saying its a masterpiece or whatnot and i dont mind it. However, it is not a perfect game like what others keeps saying. It has a lot of bugs and issues that gets overlooked because of its strengths. Regardless though, I could say that it is one the best game i have played in the RPG genre which are in the levels of Dragon Age, Dark Souls/Bloodborne and the old and classic Final Fantasy games. A great epilogue to one of the best character of the witcher books and games. Kudos to the developers in putting real effort and time to make this great game.

Bloodborne9
Dec 14, 2016
Story - As synopsis, Bloodborne centers on the Hunter (which is you) in his fight against a plague which turns those infected to mindless and ferocious beasts that occurs in the city of Yharnam. In addition, in finding the secrets and the source of such epidemic. The story telling of Bloodborne is like all souls series is unconventional. They wont tell you the story in game nor give you clear details on what's happening around you and it can either be good or bad depending on the player. As for me though, Id say it is on the positive side since it encourages players to read the description of each and every items, weapons, armors, etc. in the game and in that way give their personal understanding and theories regarding the state and what's happening in the world of Bloodborne. Though i have slight reservation since sometimes i get out of place or confused in its story and kinda a hassle to read everything in game. Therefore, A score of 9/10 deserves this spot. Gameplay - Like all Souls game, this has alway been their home turf. The gameplay overall is amazing, it is strict, challenging but fair. I loved how the developers managed to make a slow approach style of gameplay of the souls series to an aggressive and fast paced approach of Bloodborne. It is challenging and a new fresh experience for its hardcore fans. The bosses is what really the cherry on top of Bloodborne, even though some can be quite easy, majority of them are all memorable and challenging that depending on your skill, may put you to rage but gives you that hard earned satisfaction upon beating them. The weapons is also one of its best assets in that regard that they can transform to a second form which you can use in different situations in game. That is the true reward for beating them. As to the multiplayer aspect, I loved how they changed the backstab system of this game to repel cheating players. A truly masterful execution that deserves a perfect 10/10 Graphics - What really got me to love this game firsthand is its theme and environment. The gothic horror-esque world of Yharnam to its scary forest, sewers, cemetery, school, etc. and even abandoned snowy castles exists in the game which gives you the players that creepy feel before going to that area. In addition, The monsters of this game are for me one of the most grotesque but all coolest designs i have ever seen in my gaming life, majority of them are all scary and creepy. Add that to the fact that the weapons and armors (or cape/coats) are cool and awesome design. I really loved it. My main issue in the game though is even though everything is pretty, the graphics of the game is not really that impressive and its fps is just a constant 30 fps which drops occasionally in fights. Regardless, still a pretty game to look at and scary too. Thus, I will give a score of 8/10 for this. Music and sound - As to music, its average for me. I cant say it isnt good but i cant say its bad either. However, the sound of this game is what really lifts it up too, the voices of the characters even if they all have few dialogues are great and also the scary sounds and screams which the monsters and the beasts of Yharnman makes in the game which adds to that uneasy feeling for the players. It is a job well done in this aspect. Therefore, a score of 9/10 also gets this spot. Total average = 9.00 Another great game made by one of the best developers Japan has. Even though everyone is used now to the gameplay of the Souls series, FromSoft still found a way to give us a new experience and freshen up its gameplay in Bloodborne. I loved their effort and creativity to dwell in a gothic horror theme. Miyazaki is really a genius in world and environment design. I really hope that they continue to be this great as developers and not let fame get over their heads. Thank you for a very good game.

Story - As summary, story continues form Ground Zeroes whereas Big Boss has been in a coma for 9 years and as such, need to rebuild your independent army (now named Diamond Dogs) and in addition, find the ones responsible to the attack that happened to the MSF in MGSV:GZ. As a fan of metal gear solid games, this game was the weakest in terms of storyline and plot. The episodic type are new and fresh but the pacing of the story is really slow and predictable. It is just a quest for revenge with liitle to none good twist. It doesnt also help that the chapter 2 of the game just felt rushed and that unsatisfying but ok ending. As to the characters though, It is not impressive overall. Ocelot, D-Dog and Skull Face are the only characters who i found good in game. Miller is annoying as well as Eli, Quiet has few interaction with Boss that i dont feel any care for her whatsoever, guys like huey and code talker arent that good supporting cast also. The main character Venom Snake was somewhat quiet too but i dont mind that but due to that also, i dont see anything likable at all to him since he is just like an almost silent protagonist using the body of Big boss. Overall, i was dissapointed in what should be the main strength of MGS games. As such, a score of 6/10 of **** bad performance deserves this for not living up to expectations. Gameplay - This aspect of the game is what really put MGSV to the top. Its campaign is long and the use of open world design is very good since it gives you the option of doing things the way you want like doing it with perfect stealth, or go with guns blazing or calling motherbase to bombard everything, hell you can even get in a heavily armored vehicle or tank to put destruction against your enemies. It also adds to the fun the different and unique you have on your arsenal to do your missions. The Ai of the enemies of this game in addition are also advanced and great. They will adjust in your playstyle and will try to flank you, corner you or use strategies against you when you are fighting them. However, there are also flaws as to its gameplay, which really factors to its boss fights and that unremarkable chapter 2 of the game. As to the boss, majority are only skulls, super human always in 4 which is most of the boss fights in game. It is repetitive and dissapointing since MGS is one of those game which has one of the most memorable boss fights. With regard to chapter 2, i hated those recycled missions in their hard mode which first not only gave you uneccesary annoyance, but also didnt put more advancements in the storyline. They should have never considered going that path. However, despite the notable weaknesses of its gameplay, i can say that its strength's also is the best i have ever seen. Therefore, a great score of 9/10 still deserves this part of the game. Graphics - This game really showed how advance that fox engine **** world of Afghanistan and Africa are gorgeous. There is a constant 60FPS in the game. Its not The Order level of prettyness or epicness but really a very good game graphic wise. Everything is detailed. from the scars of big boss to his suit. The same goes with the other npc and characters of the game. A score of 10/10 Music and Sound - As a game which won multiple awards due to its music. I would say it is deserving. the sound has a mixture of classic songs while also including the game's original songs, it also has songs or main themes of all previous MGS title of the game which is awesome since you have both quality and quantity to boot. As to the sound, voice acting is not impressive to me esp. Miller's which is annoying and his constant bickering like a mother in law is what really triggers my mood. Should have preffered Ocelot doing that job and not that freak. Venos Snake has little to no dialogue's , Quiet has one, while the others has few. Overall, both has ups and downs but music is what really gave me that good feeling. A score of 9/10. Overall score = 8.5 The game as a whole despite being great still was dissapointing for me since this game has the potential to be a masterpiece in that level that it would be revolutionary. The only ones at fault in here is both Konami and Kojima, if they could have both worked out their differences then this game could have one of those memorable games ever. Well, nothing we can do about it now since its done and the news that Kojima is out of Konami showed that we will never have a good conclusion to the MGS series. I really hope Konami doesn't destroy this series now since the mastermind is now gone. Still though, I will always remember MGS as one of my favorite childhood game series ever. Thanks Kojima for everything!

Until Dawn6
Dec 13, 2016
Story - The story centers around 8 friends in their return to Blackwood mountains after one year from the day of accident that occured to the sisters of Josh (One of the main characters in game) and the horrors and secrets they will all uncover and experience and must survive until **** game is based on the classic B rated Slash/horror films that was really popular on the 90s and it pays homage to its story cliches. Therefore, you can both say it is a lazy effort by the developers or that they are just loyal and gave good research to those classic horror genre in its golden era. due to this, it will be very common for you to feel frustrated to the usual stupid decisions teenagers make in this game. However, what really interests me is that you as a player can decide for them in certain aspect of the game, and by doing so. You may or may not help them survive until the end. It will not change the general story however, it will give you more interactions since more characters will be alive by then. However, my main problem is that for a horror game, it never was scary for me at all. Yes there are a few jumpscares here and there and creepy places. But after finishing the game i never felt any reluctance to play it again like what games like alien isolation gave to me, i couldnt feel any more of this scary moments or pressuring moments. With these, a fair score of 6/10 will do. Gameplay - Gameplay also returned to the days where Resident evil and Silent hills dominates the horror genre with its fixed camera in your exploration. As to the interactivity of the game, i can say that it is good despite its lack of quantity esp. those scenes where you should not move since most of them will usually result in your character being put in a bad spot or may jump to their deaths. Another to thing to add that the whole campaign is short but since it is a story driven which changes based on your choices, it has a great level of replayability. You can decide to kill them or try to challenge yourself to make them all survive. With this regard, a good score of 8/10 deserves this aspect of the game. Graphics - As to the environment, it is almost perfect. The places are haunting, creepy and will really give you the goosebumps in your exploration. As to the character design, i liked how the developers really put effort in the motion captures of its characters. Their facial expression are realistic and detailed. However, my main problem is the FPS drops that comes more often than not in its cutscenes and due to this, delay of sounds or voice sounds occurs which gives me major problems since it is a game where you spend most of the time watching than playing it. Therefore, a score of 7/10 deserves such plus and minus. Music and Sound - The music of this game overall is good. The timed sections has that loud music which puts more pressures to you and the haunting ones are properly inserted in those creepy areas which adds to its uneasiness. As to the sound, Id say it has its ups and downs, as to the ups, voice acting of the characters is good and also the sudden sounds that comes in within jumpscare moments are spot on. In fact, i had more jumpscares from the sound rather than from the game's visuals. The downs is the same with the cutscenes that sudden framedrops occurs which makes the sound delay and not following the mouth movements of the characters. Considering all the factors i have said. it deserves a score of 7/10. Average score = 6.75 (I dont round off my scores since i dont give perfect scores and zeroes i.e. 9.6 rounded off to 10) Supermassive games really showed that they have potential to make story driven interactive games. It needs some improvements like its story and also that bad fps and needs more scary moments, but overall, i was satisfied with the game. I hope they would continue to improve in this aspect and release games in the future that would be in the level of quantic dream games. awesome and hope they live until dawn, **** joke i know just kidding.

The Order: 18866
Dec 13, 2016
Story - The game is set in the 1886 London whereby and order of knights which has access to advanced weaponry are protecting the country from half breeds, those monster which are combination of beast and man. The main character of the story is one of the members of the knights called Galahad in his battle against both half breeds and rebels and his discovery to the dark secrets of his own organization. The story of the game really has promise to get into that epic or masterpiece level but is far from that due to its very short campaign and the frustrating sequel bait ending, they should have just finished the game from the get go to have the people to really love this game. The characters imo is also likable but their personalities weren't highlighted enough to show their strength due to the same reason that the whole campaign is so short it is ridiculous. Everything is affected negatively due to that. Therefore, a score of 3/10 will do for that promising but dissapointing length of its story and campaign. Gameplay - The gameplay is your typical cover based third person shooter with added QTE cutscenes in game. As for me, the gameplay is actually good, the fighting scenes of the game in the whole campaign are all awesome and fun. The guns are also good and varies from each other. However, what really lacks in this game is its replayability, there are no more modes other than the main campaign, no multiplayer, no lan, no challenge mode nor anything more to do after doing the campaign, the collectibles in game are there but no really relevance since usually they arent that connected in the main storyline or anything. And another bad thing in the game is its boss fights which are recycled in the game and how bad the ai of the half breeds are that results in your fight against them to be very easy and predictable rather than you being afraid of them. Due to this factors, it deserves a score of 4/10. Graphics - Now let us focus on the main part where the developers really gave their 100%, its graphics. All i can say is that, IT IS A MASTERPIECE visually. Everything is detailed from the smoke of London to its inhabitants, the faces of each character, the fall of rain in every object in game and how everything looks a big budget 3D film even in cutscenes, qte scenes and fight scenes. There are zero fps drops and really showed how beautiful the developers want us to see in their game. It is one of the best looking games ever. Therefore, it deserves a score of 10/10. Music and Sound - The music of this game is actually good with abundant use of piano, violin in orchestrated style of music. I liked its soundtrack personally but lacks of that memorable song which gives me LSS. And as to the voice acting, it is also top notched with how the accent of each characters really fits London and their times using old english terms and vocabulary not use anymore in today's era. Best voice acting for me is Lafayette and his great french accent. Due to this, a score of 8/10 deserves its aspect. Total average = 6.25 Despite its dissapointing flaws, The Order 1886 imo is a good game. I really loved my short experienced to it and how i loved its graphics and its characters. I was dissapointed though that the developers are overconfident they thought that graphics alone can win them the fans. This game proved that grahics alone cant lift a game to be great. I really wish that if the developers has any intent to make a sequel of this game is that they should learn from their mistakes and give us gamers that masterpiece game they have the potential to do. Stay strong!

Onechanbara Z2: Chaos4
Dec 13, 2016
Story - The game is a direct continuation from the ending of Onechanbara Z: Kagura in the aftermath of kagura and saaya's fight against their mother. As a summary, Kagura and Saaya will be teaming up to their rivals Aya and Saki to fight a new threat to the world. As like previous onechanbara series games. Its plot and story are bad. In fact you cant really say there is a story but a battle between good and evil. It is short and uninteresting. Though the characters in the game are somewhat interesting considering they have different personalities and their few interactions in game are both funny, sexy and sometimes ridiculous. Still though, it does not over all the flaws and problems it has concerning the lack of story. A poor score of 1/10 Gameplay - This is the part where the game really steps up. The action is awesome smooth and really a good game for those players who like fast paced actions games. The thing i really liked in here is the cross combination where you can use more that 2 or all of the characters at the same time and make utter chaos against your many enemies. Combos are great, many and different from each of the characters since each has two kinds of main weapons and also a sub weapon, add that they have stronger forms called Dare Drive and Extacy. However, dissapointing factors are also included, The whole campaign is so short and lacks replayability and is also very easy as a whole even if you are playing in the hardest difficulties since enemies doesnt really pose a threath even those bosses or those large in size. The mission mode is a plus for you to have things to do even after beating the campaign but alas, it is also very easy that i never really experienced a challenging mission except for 1 or 2. Overall, a score of 6/10 will do. Graphics - There two aspects on this part, both good and bad. As for the good, the character design of each and every characters are pretty, sexy and gorgeous, people keeps criticizing the use of sex appeal of this game of which as a guy, is a plus for me. I really am impressed also that you can customize the main characters, and didnt regret making them look much more sexier than their original costumes. As for the bad though, is the level and environment design. It is so last last gen and i mean on the PS2 era of graphics level. Too much lazy effort by the developers to actually put recycled level and enemy design used in its previous games. SO DAMN DISAPPOINTING. Therefore, A poor score of 4/10 will do for these aspect. Music and Sound - As to the music, It really is mixed and confusing, it is a mixture of pop, rock and techno pop. It was ok for me. But overall was dissapointed since a recycled songs from the last game is in the soundtrack and actually used in game to make you thinks it has a lot. As to the sound and voice acting, the japanese voice acting despite Kagura's awkward broken english are actually good and i really prefer it over the english version. It has more emotion and gives the characters personality base on the tone and the way they all speak. A score of 5/10 Overall Score = 4.00 These game is generally compared to Bayonetta and is also considered its budget version. Personally, I **** me it has beaten Bayonetta in its fast paced action mechanic but was far inferior as to the other aspects of the game. With regards to the use of sex appeal to promote the game, IMO in a world where games which has gore, the use of drugs, slavery, racism, etc. I would prefer this kinds of games rather than those i previously mentioned. But overall, the game really didnt give me that worth for my money since despite that it satisfies my manhood and action perks. I was dissapointed in everything. Hopefully the developers could do better in their next game if it would even come out to the west. Like Kagura said, "Okay, Bring it on"

Dragon Age: Inquisition8
Dec 12, 2016
Story - The game continues from the ending of Dragon age 2 and in here, you will be using a new protagonist called the Inquisitor which will be the leader of the independent group called the Inquisition in order to put order back in the southern part of Thedas and mainly to close the scar in the sky called the Breach. Overall, the game's storyline is as usual from a Bioware game, is awesome! The nice combination of political, emotional, war, loss, regret and many things has been put in perfect mix in the game. Add to that the new band of complicated and different new companions which in their own are all interesting in their own unique way. The main strenght of this game is the addition that one of your main characters in the game will make an appearance and you'll have an option to adjust their image. As well as you can put different world states which will change and impact your experience in the game. A score of 10/10 deserves this spot. Gameplay - The fighting mechanic of this game is a mixture of two previous games, which has a tactical view for those who prefer DAO and those real time action for those who preferes DA2. It is properly executed and is better than the previous two games but imo, it is pretty obvious that DA2's mechanic is better suited than the other one in this game. As to the missions, i am dissapointed that 80% of the whole gameplay is only for those optional quests or sidequest while the other percentage is only alloted to the main quests. It is very short if you ignore everything and did a speedrun, in addition, the sidequests and you recruiting individuals doesnt necessarili impact the game nor the story, it would only give you some better perks and also new services you wiil find in your base of operations. It is nice though that you can color and customize the characters armors though. A fair score of 7/10 Graphics - As a game which was also released in the last gen consoles. It is one of those games which is significantly better in the next gen consoles in that regards it is prettier, better and more smooth. The environments are all pretty and have different feel in them like you have areas like a forest, then a snow covered land, a deset and other things like a stormy area or swampy places. Really, the environments are awesome. As to the character design however, in the design standpoint, i really liked all of their images, some are unrealistic while others look realistic. My main problem though is the cutscenes which sometimes have low framedrops and suddenly stutters for no reasons or gets delayed. Not really a big problem, but a problem nonetheless. A fair score of 8/10 Music and Sound - The music like the previous games are all good, I really loved that cutscene when everyone sang and the ending theme in the credits. The overall music gave you that epic feel the game wants you to feel. As to the voice acting, it i top notched! I really like the different accents of the characters esp Cassandra, ow that sexy voice of her (my character romance)....Therefore, a score of 9/10 Average score - 8.50 The definitive GOTY of 2014 which recieved more than 100 awards and yeah, i really agree to this considering that there a re a lot of dissapointing titles that came out of 2014 and this was the one thing that didnt dissapoint. I loved how Bioware has listened to all criticism they recieved from DA2 and how they responded to it and made a better game. It is really better than DA2 by a mile wide but close to DAO for that best title in the series. I hope more improvements come from this epic series and more power to Bioware, the king of rpg games!

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor8
Dec 12, 2016
Story - The game begins on the time when the black captains used Talion and his family as blood sacrifice in order to summon and use Celembrimbor, but due to unforeseen events, Celebrimbor possessed the body of Talion which resurrected him and together must work together to get vengeance against the black captains. The story overall is a bit cliche but interesting main characters as well as supporting characters and cameo appearances saves it. esp. Celembrimbor which is the most interesting character in the game. A score of 7/10. Gameplay - The gameplay is a mix of Arkham series (fighting) and the assasin's creed series (platforming and exploration), despite it lacking creativity, it is still executed properly and without major or significant problems. But the strength of the game doesnt really revolves on those but to its nemesis system, an advanced gameplay mechanic in which you control using wraith powers the Uruk officers in game and use them to wreck havoc against their fellow Uruks. Such an amazing feat added in game and is the main reason why the game is really good. The only and biggest weakness i have for this game also is in this aspect, which is the very bad boss fight...I wont spoil it to you, but all boss fights in game are bad and unremarkable in that regard. Still though, Ill give it a great score of 9/10 due to that unique nemesis system. Graphics - This game is also one of those which was released both in the last and current gen consoles and is also in my opinion looks significantly better in the current consoles. The environments are good like the dead world of the first map and the greenish and more alive world on the second map, with regards to the design and layout, the overall map is small and can be easily covered. Its not a minus though. As to the character design, overall, i really liked it. From Talion's rugged image to Celembrimbor's ghostly image is really great designs in game, The Uruks also are nice since even though some are reused models, they are still distinguishable due to different armor designs. The thing i really liked though is how their image change if you have hurt of burned them too. A score of 9/10. Sound and music - I liked the voice acting of the characters and the enemies in game, it is smooth, spot on and really gives life to the character they try to portray. As to the music however, i never really remembered anything nor did i hear anything good. A score of 7/10 Overall = 8.00 This is one of the underdog games of 2014 that surprised everyone and is the runner up for the most GOTYs of that year and it is really deserving of the credit and rewards it has recieved. This game showed that it is not bad to get ideas from other games so long as you can execute it smoothly and for being creative in making such a good gameplay mehanic with its nemesis system and also the advanced ai the enemies have. The Boss battles needs a lot of improvement and i hope they would do that in the sequel. It is awesome. Thanks!

Alien: Isolation7
Dec 12, 2016
Story - The game is the direct sequel from the critically acclaimed 1979 Aliens in which Amanda Ripley, daughter of the movie heroine Ellen Ripley, is on her quest to find the whereabouts of her mother and know what happened to her. This leads her to the decrepit and mad place of Sevastapool of which is full of desperate and aggresive individuals trying to survive and the dangerous xenomorph which is the titular alien in the game. The story for me is really average at most and the characters tbh, are forgettable and no one really gave me that emotional impact to feel bad when they die. Overall, it is your typical survival horro storyline with really no new things to show you. A fair score of 5/10 Gameplay - The gameplay can be two ways depending on your enemy, if you are against humans or working joe's you can either play stealthily or play aggressive against them. However, playing stealthily is your only choice when you are up against the xenomorph since that thing is almost untouchable and invincible. guns are useless against it though you can use fire to scare it away. Overall, I really loved the AI of the xenomorph, in fact, it is the most advanced AI i have ever encountered in all my gaming experience, it will adjust to your playstyle, will look on places you usually hide from and will ambush you and trap on some parts of the game, it is masterpiece level of advanced AI mechanic. I really loved it that it gave me the greatest of my scary and uneasy moment ingame. However, the cons of the games occurs on the second half of it when you are up against the working joe, the game will turn from a stealth game to a shooter/action game. Of which despite the aggresiveness of the joe's i never really felt interested in that part of the game. A score of 8/10. Graphics - As to the environment, i really loved it. From the narrow corridors, the smoke coming out of the pipes, the numerous tubes you see, the destroyed surrounding. etc. is spot on and gives you that scary and uneasy feeling you should feel in a horror game whether or not enemies are around the corner. The xenomorph design is also detailed and really put their effort in gving it life. My issues in the game is the facial expression of the characters though, they look like they have no emotion whatsoever, Amanda Ripley in cutscenes you wont know if she's scared, worried or angry if you look at her face. Everyone in the game looks like a robot without much face movement. Still though, a good score of 8/10 will do. Music and Sound - Out of all horror games i played, this game has the most haunting soundtrack i have ever experienced. I cant stop my heart beating from the loud music that plays when the alien is around and looking for you and in timed sections in the game. It also has some haunting music in dark areas in which you are alone and exploring. As to the sound, Voice acting is average if not good. while the sudden loud sound is good and the xenomorph's screams when it saw you is shocking at times. Really a good sound and music system to give you that horror experience. A score of 9/10 Overall score = 7.5 Creative Assembly really put a good effort of making this game. It is haunting, scary and will give you that adrenaline rush in pressuring parts of the game. It needs some improvements, but overall, it is a really good horror game out there that deserves your attention. I was dissapointed when IGN and even Gamespot gave this game bad review of which it doesnt deserves thats why bad sales came to its way. I hope there is still a chance for this game to continue since i enjoy to play it.

inFamous: Second Son7
Dec 12, 2016
Story - The game continues from the aftermath of Infamous 2's good ending and tells the new protagonist Delsin Rowe's story which is a conduit whose powers can absorb the powers of other conduits. The story centers on Delsin's battle against the DUP, a group who swore to capture all conduits in the world lead by a sadistic but powerful conduit Augustine. It covers also the life of conduits after infamous 2 and the discrimination and hate that they encounter. IMO, i am not impressed with the story, it is very cliche, short and also predictable, and this are from the makers of infamous 1 and 2 which has great storyline. In addtion, the protagonist is weak, his good path is his obvious personality while his bad path is ridiculous and out of place. Despite that the supporting characters on the other hand are great esp Eugene and Fetch, other conduits who will help Delsin in his fight againts the DUP. The same weakness goes to the antagonist which is pretty cliche at start but was rather interesting at the end. Overall though, it is dissapointing and a siginificant letdown for me wirh regard the storyline. A poor score of 4/10 Gameplay - I can say that this aspect of the game is till maintained and it is awesome! The way the powers is used, the smooth controls and how you have different powers at your disposal unlike the previous two in the sequel in which you can only use lightning, in here, you can use 4 different powers and skills which is great. My main problem in the game though is its missions, it is short and was kinda repetitive as a whole, cause all you do is go to point A fight, then go to point B, then fight, the open world, you can only cover the area by taking over DUP bases and getting collectibles. The only miscellaneous quest i really liked is the wall painting mini game which is entertaining. Overall, a good score of 8/10 will do. Graphics - Now we are talking, **** Punck really showed in this game how powerful and how promising next gen games will look. It is very pretty and there are ZERO frame drops or screen tearing occuring ingame despite the many explosions and effects coming out in the screen. My issue however is the environment, realistically it is good and beautiful but it is very short and you cant really go to places which are interesting despite its great view, in addition, i was somewhat neutral to the punk character design of the characters but i didnt like Delsin's image in both the good and bad path, glad that you can change his jacket ingame. Overall, it deserves a great score of 9/10 Music and Sound - The soundtack of this game is a mix of punk and rock music, and i can see why based on the main characters. Though imo, with the storyline they want you to see, i dont think it matches it. As to the sound and voice acting though, it is top notched with troy baker being the lifesaver of the protagonist with his good voice acting and motion capture. A fair score of 7/10. Average score = 7.00 If this game was released as a new IP or new title then i would be giving it a better score. But considering that is a sequel (or spinoff) then there is no question why it will be compared to its previous game in the series. It is inferior and despite the good gameplay and good graphics, i never really felt connected nor fell in love with its characters nor are they that memorable. Regardless,it its still one of the better exclusives of PS4 and **** being one of the better developers of them also hope to make more and better games in the future, Kudos to them! Thanks

Lords of the Fallen (2014)6
Dec 12, 2016
Story - The story begins in the time the humans are in a losing war against the Rhogar, a demonic army summoned by a god named Adyr which was sealed by 3 unnamed heroes in the game. Harkyn, a convicted criminal and the main protagonist of the game is released by a monk named Kaslo in order to turn the tides of the war against the Rhogar. Harkyn's main mission is to defeat all of the lords or commander of Adyr which leads the Rhogar army. The story overall is good, however, the characters in the game aren't really likable nor memorable. Harkyn is an ok main character but others like Kaslo and other NPCs are forgettable (I cant even remember most of their names now) and the movement or complication in game are uninteresting. A fair score of 6/10. Gameplay - As an avid gamer of the Dark Souls series, i can say that despite the fact that the game's overall gameplay is identical or based from the critically acclaimed action game. I can say that it is easier since Harkyn is really overpowered no matter what class you chose him to be. His skills are powerful when maxed and also the enemies as a whole are easy and not it is a bad AI but compared to the aggressive enemies and bosses of Dark souls this game is much easier. I also liked the way the experience system is made that it is multiplying by the numbers of enemies you killed without using the savepoint and also the hidden challenges in boss fights you need to do in order to get the upraded versions of their boss weapons. Overall, i really like what the developers added new in the game. Overall, A good score of 8/10. Graphics - To be fair, the graphics of this game is rather good if not average. Is it on the level of high graphics games? no. But it is not also in league to those lower grahics or bad grahic games. The environment and level design are also good and really liked the Maze type of the world of lords of the fallen despite it being small, which is not really a problem to me. The character design are also good with Harkyn's weapons and armors has good and different designs. my main issue is that NPCs esp those not named have reused character models (monks in the game exept Kaslo are look alikes) and also the lack od enemy design which are just recycled and of different colors for you to see their difference. a fair score of 7/10 will suffice. Music and sound - As to music, hm in my opinion it is really mixed. Some are good esp the boss fights but kinda dont like it in exploration or some other things in the game. As to the Sound and voice action, i really love the sound of that hammer attacks (which is my preffered weapon in the game) and the magic attacks of Harkyn. With regard to the voice acting though, meh. They are not good nor giving emotions to them like you are talking to almost robot like characters. The voice actors never really did a good job. Therefore, a score of 5/10 will do for these part. Overall = 6.5 The game overall was a good experience. However, it is short and compared to its obvious inspirations, it is far way too inferior. But to those gamers who want to feel that darksouls like gameplay in an easier game, then they would like this. But to those who love challenges like me, then this game will still be good but i would be unimpressed at the end. Overall though, i hope the developers do better and put more challenging games in the future. I liked this as a new IP and hopefully they continue these series...Thanks

Murdered: Soul Suspect3
Dec 12, 2016
Story - The story in summary is that there is a serial killer called the bell killer being investigated upon in the fictional Salem, Massachusetts due to similar victims and the protagonist Ronan is one of the detectives assigned to such case. One night, while investigating a lead, Ronan came in contact with the serial killer and as a result was killed by being shot 7 times in his body. The story begins in his ghost form in which he must solve his current case in order for him to move on in his life. Considering that it is a mystery and story driven game, these aspect should be the main strength of the game. But to be fair, it is not bad but also not good. The story is short, very predictable and has a few parts where you will be surprised which would result to its lack of replayability. But the plus of this game is its character, I like the protagonist and his rugged image and his rough personality, the rebellious Joy which will be your partner in crime in the story. This two is the main assets of the game and their interactions are good overall. The mini story too in each areas or stages are good too. A score of 6/10 will do. Gameplay - My question is...does this game even have gameplay?? well if i will describe it, it is a third person game of which all you will do is walk or run around the city of Salem and look for its many collectibles. The crime or murder scenes are dissapointing also considering that they arent even good. It is very easy and the evidence or clues are so obvious it is right in front of you that you will look and feel dumb you didnt even knew ot was that the first time around. I was not impressed with the running around in the area and how the ghostly powers of the protagonist are used in few places of the game, the fight scenes with the demons are so easy it is also bad and are very few. A poor score of 1/10 deserves this lazy effort. Graphics - This game is released in both current and last gen consoles and the differences between the two are not that noticeable and there are only a slight improvement found in terms of lighting. But overall, the graphics of this game are bad.Though i like the feel of the environment and also the character design of the cast of the games. Overall though, i was not impressed considering the trailers shown regarding this game are pretty good. A score of 3/10. Music and Sound - First is music, I dont like it and really felt out of place in the general feel of the game. It should be close to a horror style of music and not some ugly rap song which is included in the game. The voice acting of the characters are good though esp the main characters. I liked it. A score of 4/10 deserves this part. Overall Average = 3.5 The game is pretty dissapointing overall considering that the cinematic trailers shown was good. You may consider it a budget game but for me, it deserves to be better and the developers showed just how lazy they can be. As i've heard said developers are now closed and felt relieved that no more bad games will result from them, They won't be missed. Thanks.

Story - The general synopsis of the game was interesting at first but such execution of the story was bad, rushed and became ridiculous at times. The summary of the story follows: The event starts during the time the land of Vertiel is in war against a number of immortal necromancers known as the Ice lords. The protagonist (nicknamed as Vulcan) is a bomb specialist working for a known mercenary group named Freeborn Blades. The Freeborn Blades mission is to protect the Red Scribes in their ritual to what could be their only hope to fight and defeat the Ice lords. Upon the occurrence of unforeseen events and accidents, Vulcan was possessed by a demon and together they should work to defeat the powerful enemies of the game. The question now is how, should you use your own power and reject the demons temptations or use the power of fire to obliterate your foes. Really, the story is good at first set up, but fails to perform well since first, the dialogue's are bad and overuse of swearing and profanity ingame. Next the characters are all uninteresting and looks like bad carbon copies of notable Bioware or CD Projekt Red characters and the storyline is bad overall cause its short and the decisions you make even in sidequests doesnt even affect that much in the ending or in the game. Therefore, a poor score of 4/10 deserves this bad performance. Gameplay - The Gameplay likewise has its ton of problems. If you will describe **** is like a poor result of the mixture of arkham's freeflow system and witcher's fighting mechanics. The cons are many: first, the enemy difficulty are unbalanced in that regard that they can easily kill you in one or three hits even on the lower difficulties. The controls are slow to react. The stances of the dagger and sword are unbalanced in that the dagger is obviously the superior ones and the fact that your enemies heal in full health if they go out of their aggro zone...even if you intended it or just an accident. due to this factors this game gives you uneccesary difficulty not in the dark soul kind of way but due to the bad gameplay mechanic itself. However not all is bad like the crafting being simple and easy to do and the system where you can upgrade and personally craft your armors and weapons parts to make them look good aesthetically and better. Considering all those factors, this part deserves a score of 3/10 again. Graphics - considering that this game also has a platform in the last gen consoles. I should expect that bigger improvements could be seen in the current gen consoles but alas, it is not so. The environments are all small and the graphics despite being good if you consider the style they use to be comical but regardless as an overall, it is still poor if not below average. The character design and movement are likewise bad and the stages are all short, narrow that exploration is not really a significant part of the game. Overall, a score of 3/10 will do. Music and sound - Ill give a good news and bad news on this part. first is the bad news, voice acting and the sound overall is bad but i can see some effort in this regard. for the good news however (Which is the only silver lining of the game) is the music, its soundtrack is amazing and pretty to listen too, however ingame it is dissapointing though to only hear like 2 or 3 music used despite its quality being good. A fair score of 6/10 i will give. Overall average = 4.00 Budget game or no this kinds of game shouldn't even be released in full price. I can see the effort the developers did in making this game and imo i think they have somewhat creative minds in making good story and settings, however maybe due to some other factors like money, time and number of people working are also in place in making the game that it results in poor execution. Regardless, as a gamer, i have right to criticize their bad performance. I hope Spiders can learn from these and do better in their next work. Thanks.
