Antiehiro

Wow the cinematography and scenery in this movie was amazing but wow was the writing just a tad over the top. It almost made it feel marvel-esk with the silly quips. Beyond that the piss poor ending really left a sour taste at the end. I enjoyed the comedy and the sheer incompetence of the main character contributing to the comedy heavy was a nice addition for me but this movie seems unsure of what it wants to be. Overall i recommend it, its a great watch with some disturbing cgi, 2ish great jump scares, and has you genuinely hoping the MC prevails despite him being a bit of a dunce.

a stellar production that retells a story we've heard many times and shows you the power of destiny. Would be a 10 for me if it got me more emotional but i only felt chills once or twice and didnt shed any tears.

Main character is a weak kid. Movie is carried by word of mouth, it is not scary just has good acting making it fairly disturbing.

[SPOILER ALERT: This review contains spoilers.]

amazing commentary on wealth inequality, some of the characters are a little too dumb but still stellar

first 30 minutes hooks you but to be honest the movie doesnt explain the context of the rebellion situation very well, so if you dont already know whats going on via your history research youll be lost.

It's a solid watch, you wont feel like you've wasted your time watching this. You'll for sure wont be wowed though its nothing that special.

The movie starts off a bit slow but gets so good as you learn more, there is alot of science jargon but you dont have to understand it at all. All you need to know is that Ryan Gosling and some alien are gonna save the universe.
